Yelp
The review is for the first fruit stand by entrance Scaravelli : Chiosco. I had a very unpleasant experience here today November 12,2025. I bought two cups of strawberries for €4 each (no receipt given). Later, I added chocolate sauce for €2 more, but the lady switched my strawberries to smaller €3 cups, so I ended up paying more and getting less. When I politely asked for a refund or the proper amount, she was rude and dismissive. It's not about the €2 -- it's about honesty and respect. I felt cheated and treated unfairly as a tourist. Very disappointing experience -- I hope the management takes this seriously.

Yelp
This market square is part of William Shakespeare's where Juliet gathering in the play. This is the town center not too far from the Juliet house. We can imagine the area where she grew up. The market square is busy. The setting in the square has vendors display their good. Many fruit vendors has their fruit cup display. Stack the fruit in the cup and pile on top with a stick. Look eye pleasing. This market you can negotiate and buy the souvenirs especially the Juliet souvenir. The square is not big. It can finish very easily. There are few statue and covers monument we can take pictures with. The surrounding store has restaurant.

Yelp
There a lot going on here on this Piazza. Lots of restaurants and shops. But also some great architecture with the Torre dei Lamberti and the Torre del Gardello as the biggest eye-catchers. Besides that there is a little market smack in the middle, selling some arts & crafts as well as the usual tourist stuff (which we still bought). It's a nice place to grab a drinks and watch the world go by. Walk along Via Giuseppe Mazzini back to the Piazza Bra. It's a nice little stroll.

Yelp
We were led on a walk through a popular part of Verona and we stopped here. It's bustling with people and activity. There's quite a bit of frenzy to take in. It feels Old World. After we went to the Romeo and Juliet home.

Yelp
Beautiful architecture and lots to see; a lovely market through the center, fountains are nice, many statues with great history. The whale rib has a variety of fascinating stories, although unknown history behind it. The frescos on the buildings are also something that can easily be missed, so watch for those as you walk through this large piazza.

Yelp
Great place to hang out. When we went, there were a bunch of markets and stand for foods and items. I don't know if this occurred all the time, but it was fun. We got a bunch of small snacks and went through some of the item shops. Overall it was a good experience and nothing to really complain about

Yelp
Beautiful historic Piazza, with history, lots of shops, restaurants and exciting things to do. The Piazza delle Erbe was also the central square in Roman times and has many magnificent buildings. This place a must see in Verona!

Yelp
Nice place. You can go there and take pictures around or go to cafeteria and buy good icecream. There is often little market outside there you can buy example colorful glass pearls. Ancient Roman architecture and special atmosphere. Walking distance to Juliet's balcony+house

Yelp
I enjoyed being here in this lovely square which has many historic and beautiful buildings, and was originally the site of the Roman Forum. There is often a colourful open air market under umbrellas where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, souvenirs and clothes. The lovely 14th century fountain in the centre is called La Fontana di Madonna Verona. Across the square is the 12th century Palazzo del Comune and, above it, is Torre dei Lamberti (275 ft high).

Yelp
This charming city square has lots of character and is centrally located making it a good place to start a visit to Verona. It's in the middle of the historic center so parking is difficult but find a place to leave the car and just walk - there's a lot within walking distance. There are beautiful medieval buildings and towers in the surrounding area and in the center of the piazza is a 14th century fountain with a Roman statue. There are a lot of stalls selling touristy stuff and some decent art. Watch out for the pigeons which were out in full force yesterday - they have no shame and your snack is never safe, even when directly besides you. The Osteria Verona located at the edge of the piazza seems to be a good choice for a wine bar with good people watching.

Yelp
We were on a walking tour of Verona through this square...Wonderful architecture and history. Very charming. It would have been nice to spend an evening and have dinner at one of the restaurants!
