Piazza del Duomo is truly the heart of Milan and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. The grandeur of the Duomo di Milano is breathtaking, with its intricate Gothic architecture and stunning facade that demands admiration. The opportunity to climb to the rooftop and take in panoramic views of Milan is a highlight—don’t miss it. The square itself is always bustling, filled with energy from both locals and tourists. Street performers, artists, and the general ambiance make it a vibrant place to soak in the city’s culture. Nearby, you’ll find Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, an architectural gem and a shopper’s paradise. The only downside is the crowds, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of its charm. Be cautious of street vendors offering trinkets or “free” items, as they can be persistent.

Amazing place! You definitely have to visit here if you're in Milan. The flock of birds just casually roaming around the place adds to its spectacle. A truly marvelous experience. Just be careful not to accept the pigeon food or the bracelets from people offering them in the piazza.

It is one of the best places to visit in Milan. It is always bustling with tourists, and you’ll often see many pigeons gathering there as well. Whenever I feel bored, I visit this spot to refresh myself. If you're planning to visit Milan, I highly recommend adding Piazza del Duomo to your itinerary

Definitely a must visit if you’re in the Milan area. The Duomo is more magnificent in person than in pictures. Nice to see both during day and night, with it being lit up. The plaza at nighttime is buzzing with people and you can feel the energy. Probably the main attraction in Milan

One time visit is a must. If you don’t want to go inside the Duomo, it’s still good to visit the piazza. Even the outside architecture of Duomo is very nice. It has a different vibe in the day and night. Lots of shopping and eating places are nearby.

This is the famous square in Milan. So much to see and do in this area. The Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the equestrian statue, and many other things. When we visited the Christmas Markets were going in full swing. The tree was not lit yet, but it was still beautiful. The square was full of people. The only annoying thing are all the pigeons because scammers are handing out feed for the birds. They are all over the places and making a massive mess. The main metro line is also located in this square, so easy access to the metro. Plenty of shops, restaurants, cafe’s in the area. So much to see and do.

Piazza del Duomo in Milan is an absolute must-visit for anyone traveling to this vibrant city. As the central square, it is not only the heart of Milan but also a hub of historical, cultural, and architectural significance. The moment you step into the piazza, you are greeted by the breathtaking sight of the Duomo di Milano, one of the largest and most intricate Gothic cathedrals in the world. The sheer scale and detail of the cathedral are awe-inspiring, with its countless spires and statues creating a truly majestic silhouette against the sky. The piazza itself is always bustling with activity, from street performers and artists to tourists and locals alike. It's a fantastic place to people-watch and soak in the lively atmosphere. The surrounding buildings, including the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, add to the charm with their stunning architecture and historical significance. The Galleria, with its beautiful glass dome and elegant shops, is a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or some high-end shopping. One of the highlights of visiting Piazza del Duomo is the opportunity to climb to the rooftop of the Duomo. The views from the top are simply spectacular, offering a panoramic vista of Milan's skyline and beyond. It's a bit of a climb, but well worth the effort for the incredible photo opportunities and the chance to see the intricate details of the cathedral up close. The piazza is also home to several excellent cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a coffee or a meal while taking in the views. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full dining experience, there's something to suit every taste and budget. Overall, Piazza del Duomo is a place where history, culture, and modern life come together in a beautiful and dynamic way. It's a spot that captures the essence of Milan and offers something for everyone. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, a history buff, or simply looking to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, a visit to Piazza del Duomo is an unforgettable experience. 😊🏛️

What a place. What a cathedral. What a view! A must see landmark of Milan which offers spectacular views from its rooftop. You may climb by stairs or take a lift. Stairs are tiring and do not offer anything instead. The carhedral inside is also worth visiting and so is the Museum
