Beautiful place to go in the evening as Trapani's east coast was not easily accessible to sit near the sea (due to harbours), and we found only the west coast to have access to sea for people. It was not so much crowded when we went, and found a good place on wall to sit and enjoy the dusk.

This is the location of the old fish market. The market was eventually closed and moved closer to the small harbor due to the odors it created during the hot weather.

An abandoned square, right above the sea, that once would have been bustling with life, as a fish market. But now abandoned, with garbage, like the entire surrounding area, with a fountain that hasn't had water for years. It's a shame to abandon your history and not be able to exploit it even for tourism.

The view is absolutely epic! Walk down to see the entire shoreline. There is a little spot hidden where you can sit and relax and take in the view.

Trapani is such a beautiful place to visit there is so much history here and at times it doesn’t feel like your in Italy as there is an Arabic feel to the place. The walk along the seafront is worth while while looking out to the beautiful blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the sunsets are also breathtaking.

Trapani is beautiful and clean! Loads of history.

Great little cafe, relaxed atmosphere and very reasonable prices for cappuccino, espresso and sparkling water

Not a bad square, but there's nothing to do or see here, except for the small and cute cocktail bar at the edge, which I recommend.
