Lovely tourist spot. We went there in a peak of tourist season, so it was absolutely busy with people, but you have to expect that. Lovely place to spot a celebrity, shop high end goods or just stroll the narrow mesmerising streets of Capri full of charm and character.

Very beautiful coastal city. Lots of shops. Restaurants and beautiful scenery! We took a ferry from Naples. Buy the ferry tickets in advance.

Absolutely gorgeous. Spend the day. We had a sandwich when we departed the ferry. Lemon Gelato is a must. Love the perfume I bought one of my favorite souvenirs. We took a boat tour around the island and saw some of the best views.

Visited as part of a day trip. Place was a lovely place to see. Lots of cafes and shops, just expect to pay extra whilst on the island. Views were stunning and walk up was an experience! Annoyingly half the route was blocked for works, however this was not signposted until we got half way up and it was blocked. So we ended up having to use the road, much to the annoyance of taxis who were using hand gestures and horns to show this. Queue for a ticket to use the lift was huge in the morning but did ease into the afternoon. Ferry back was a bit of a guess with the provider we booked, so make sure you use someone reputable!

Don't take that silly tram. Take the walking route from the dock! You'll see lovely lovely flowers, lemon groves, and architecture along the way. Plus you won't spend 30-60 minutes in line for a ~2 min ride. The Piazzetta itself was... Very busy. Pretty area. Great views of the sea in certain spots. I know the plaza management itself can't necessarily control this, but you won't find a restaurant, cafe, shop, limonata cart, etc. charging reasonable prices. Expect a premium cost on everything. I'd personally recommend finding less 'touristy' areas in Capri or Ana Capri to get lunch, beverages and such. Nice to walk through, get something small, but don't drain your wallet here. There are other options if you're willing to walk a bit.

Lovely walk up from the ferry to the pizzetta (1000) stairs my girlfriend informs me… Haven’t fact checked that, but it’s a glorious walk up. There’s buses and a funicular for the less able bodied. Beautiful mini Piazza with a few cafes for refreshments. Then just about every designer store you could possibly think of in the surrounding 300m2. Great spot to take stock and then continue your Capri adventure!

A busy but interesting square, full of high-end shops and eateries. Great viewpoint as you come out of the funicular!
