Perfect lowkey stay! Everything was super clean and bug-free, plus daily housekeeping kept it that way. Cottages are right on the beach, there’s a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and the staff are lovely. Shoutout to the gentleman who mans the breakfast shift at the restaurant.

The perfect middle ground between pricey resorts and utilitarian hotel rooms. The cottages are a bit rustic, but they have AC in the bedrooms, full kitchenette, friendly staff, security guards to make you feel safe, a restaurant right next door, and plenty of good markets walking distance down the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Picard beach cottages is a must! Super kind staff! Bonus cottage cat, 😉 fruit right outside your door, and a beautiful beach! Tin roofs make the experience even better! Slept like a baby. Loved the sound of the rain when it hit. Soothing!

Exceptional beaches that stretches for miles and you can virtually find your own little space and not see but a couple of people all day. Not bad snorkeling actually if you go to the end of the dock and follow the rock and reef parallel to the shore. Saw some eels, a school of cuttlefish which are really cool and many, many beautiful colored fish. Take your time and look at the entire reef - you just might see an octopus. Restaurant closes at 3pm which sucks and they often run out of beer. The beach at the hotel is in really rough shape with lots of debris and rocks. It has been like that for weeks and nothing being done about it. No one seems to care. The one waiter is exceptional but otherwise service sucks. Limited food options.

My husband and I had a wonderful getaway here. Right on the beach, and you can stroll up and down. Great snorkeling just off the dock. Whale watching trips available right there as well. The restaurant and bar was closed due to off-season, but it still was a great stay. Gorgeous property, wonderful staff, excellent location. Cottages have well appointed kitchenettes, and there is a good grocery store within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Loved it!

Rustic cottages on the water. Simple kitchen with adequate utensils for simple meals. Mosquito net over the bed is mandatory to keep from getting bitten- location on the beach means mosquitos. No shampoo, only small bars of soap. On site restaurant only open for breakfast &lunch- omelet was fine, pancakes were awful. Portsmouth is a small town with few restaurants, only about half of them take credit cards.

You get your own cottage which is nice. Some of the cottages are on the beach, some are not. Beach is fairly empty. However, we booked two cottages, both thinking they were on the beach itself. They were not. There was no information about this and no way to tell. Also, the cottages themselves are really dirty and in disrepair. I found several instances of rat feces in the bed and on the floor, there were many insects and mosquitos, the shower was broken (handle falling off, nails completely rusted and on the ground), toilet didn't really flush (had to flush two or three times), only one AC in the bedroom so other rooms were hot, and some of the power outlets were not functional. For the high price, I would've probably preferred to stay elsewhere but if you're set on "glamping" this is as close as it gets.

Beautiful, natural sea-side cottages with a super friendly staff. They helped us book incredible whale excursions and figure our way around the island. Ray, Sammy, Ms. Peter, and front desk staff are all fantastic people!
