I had a poor experience last week, however, the way the owner handled the situation really impressed me. I have ordered here countless times, everything is delicious. I love their pizzas, artichoke dip and their salad dressing SO much. They have a great lunch special. Shout out to the owner Ryan for going above and beyond to make my experience great.

Very disappointing experience. This place claims to make wood-oven pizza, but that’s simply not true. The pizza clearly wasn’t cooked in a wood oven, and the quality shows. The dough was extremely bad—dense, flat, and didn’t rise at all. It felt under-fermented and lifeless, nothing like proper pizza dough should be. If you’re looking for authentic wood-fired pizza, this is not the place. Misleading claims and poor quality overall. My son also ordered a meatball pasta. And the pasta was way over cooked, and the plate was dirty and had black stuff all around, see the picture for reference. Even though the restaurant have a good reviews, majority of these reviews are long time ago when it use to be a decent restaurant.

Google
Excellent pizza always hot out of the woodfired oven. Great crust. I always get mine a little extra crispy. We have been coming here for years it’s fast and delicious. They have other Italian dishes eat salad salads as well.

New Owners! We have been coming here for years and had scaled way back because the food and staff had changed for the worst. The new owners have completely changed the atmosphere, staff - friendly customer service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. We are definitely impressed with the changes. SAME GREAT FOOD AND BUT FRESHER!! Salads were fresh and delicious! ***Reason for 3 STARS PLEASE STOP overcharging for GF. People with allergies shouldn't be taken to the bank. Be reasonable and stop up pricing for allergies. We ordered a gluten-free and diary free option. Looked and tasted delicious.

Google
Went in with high hopes, but the pizza was a disappointment and in no way wood fired. The crust was flat and soft, no crisp at all. The “margarita” pizza was a cheese pizza with some strips of basil. No fresh mozzarella, no fresh tomatoes, and no fresh basil. It’s a complete misnomer. It should also be made clear the piadina is not hot on the inside. It’s a warm pita with cold food inside.

Huong D.

Google
I loved the artichoke dip. Their ingredients were high quality. All the cheese that I ate here were delicious. The restaurant’s atmosphere was immaculate. The only feedback that I could provide is that my pizza was underbaked. I could still taste the dough which was not great. However, I did demolish all the cheese and topping, and I was fueled for my bike ride back to Denver so a win-win in my book.

OMG! This was amazing... stopped by on a whim when grabbing doughnuts next door... we were early before opening but the bartender took our order and was EXTREMELY nice... the Bianca pizza was top notch... fresh ingredients, perfect crust, fantastic olive oil.... perfection We met Ryan the owner, he was awesome, he was schlepping Ice and making setups, glad to see small business owners taking pride in their place and keeping it close. We will be back often...

I do like the atmosphere there. They had nice music playing and it wasn't too loud like it is in some restaurants. But the quality of the food just was not good. Starting with the salad--it was supposed to be a caesar salad, but the dressing had very little taste to it. Real caesar salad has anchovy and some sort of mustard. This didn't taste like it had either. I'm not kidding--it tasted like a watered down ranch dressing. Also, we were told at the counter that it came with garlic bread on the side. All we got was foccacia--no garlic or butter on it at all. I ordered a meat calzone, and my partner ordered cavatappi alfredo. These dishes were prepped and put on the counter for the waiter to bring to us. We watched as the waiter looked at the dishes and then walk into the kitchen of the restaurant. We waited a few more minutes before I finally went to get our food. As I was reaching for them, the waiter reappeared and said "Hey, I can get those to you." By then, I already had the dishes snatched up so I just told him that I had it. The calzone was supposed to come with a side of marinara, but it was never brought to our table. The cavatappi alfredo was served in a bowl that, it appeared to us, it was microwaved in. There was evidence of bubbled cheese on the edges of the bowl the whole circumference. During the course of our meal, we were approached once to see if we needed a refill--at least our glasses were not quite empty at that moment. All in all, I couldn't recommend the place. The atmosphere was fine, but the service was lacking, and the food is only mediocre at best.

Yelp
i crave their meat calzone. it is THE best!!! every dish i've tried is great but that meat calzone with their spicy oil is soooo good. also, VERY solid cannolis. lovely dining area but takeout is grade A as well.

Yelp
This is not a great place, I do not recommend and I would not be back. We came based off the good reviews but left disappointed. We got the artichoke dip, Della casa salad, salssicia pizza and root beer. None of it is freshly made, it's either boxed or frozen and the pizza tasted like Cicis. The prices are great so it made sense that the clientele is seniors and families. With all of that said, I want to praise the workers. They are absolutely fabulous in every way. They made our entire experience amazing that I was sad to leave a bad food review.
google avatar

Tim B.

Yelp
Worst pizza I ever had. I ORDERED THE #13 Without the goat cheese. It came with goat cheese and now sign of any red sauce. It was so oily and greasy I couldn't even eat it. I did like the box though.

Yelp
A cute local spot in Lakewood. It was pretty busy when we went so we were excited to try it out! Overall it was just okay. It's an order first, then sit down styled restaurant. The dishes aren't family style so you can eat a whole pizza to yourself (which my husband did). My husband and I shared the Cesar salad which surprising had no taste. The dressing was super watered down so the only flavorful part was the little anchovies they put on top and the bread was fresh and fluffy. I ordered the lasagna bolognese which was hot and fresh but was drowning in marinara sauce, and had very little meat inside. The bread with it was delicious again. My husband ordered the #6 Salsiccia pizza and liked it. I tried a bite of it but I'm not a fan of sweet marinara, so I stuck to my dish. The bread of the pizza was nice though! They know what they're doing with dough at least. You don't get much of table side services (water/drink refills, checked in on for additional service, how the food is, etc.), the waiters/bussers pretty much walk around to see if you're done to take your plates and go.

Yelp
Wide variety of wood fired personal pan pizzas! Location was busy this past Saturday night with a line at the ordering counter but moved quick. You order before sitting and then the food is brought to you. My pizza was good but it's definitely a sweeter sauce. The Caesar salad was just ok, the lettuce didn't taste super fresh. My wife enjoyed her lasagna. The location is cute with a view seeing the cooks making food. I would have liked to have had another beer but no easy way to order it without waiting in the line again from what I could see. Overall not bad for the prices! Cute neighborhood joint.

Yelp
Good pizza, but the star was the artichoke dip. My daughter said she is going to dream about that!
google avatar

Caley T.

Yelp
There was a TON of olive oil in my Alfredo cavatappi, as seen in the photos that caused all of the cheese to separate and clump up. As you can imagine all I could taste was oil and my "fiery shrimp" wasn't spicy in the slightest. Luckily my husbands pizza was edible so I ate a couple slices of his 10" personal pan. Also odd the only sell 16" pizzas as a take and bake option. I would've much rather shared a pizza with my husband.
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
The waitstaff were excellent! They were all attentive and friendly. Even though you order when you walk in the door and they bring your food to the table I was impressed. The food was delicious! It was worth the drive to Littleton as we were in Henderson. The food was good, salad was fresh. I would have given five starts had it not been for the gluten free crust was a little undercooked (doughy in some areas). The outdoor seating was nice and cool even on a warm Day!

Yelp
the food here was great! the pizza is good I got the classic pepperoni and it was delicious. It is a bit confusing when you first go in, you order and pay first then find a table. The food was good although the service was not the best... I had gotten no ranch with my pizza and when asked for more she said it's $2 extra for a little tiny cup which is insane considering I already paid. I do recommend going if you like good pizza and a chill setting but don't expect the best service.

Karen G.

Yelp
Good food and reasonable prices. Nice patio area. Wood fired pizza good as well as the artichoke dip and caprese salad.
google avatar

Coco B.

Yelp
Cute Patio, Nice ambiance. Great service. Food was ok for the price... a little disappointed. I ordered the margarita pizza and got a cheese pizza with dried out basil seasoning. When menu stated fresh basil and it's what I get normally everywhere else. Also they did not put the rounds of tomatoes but diced tomatoes and I literally got only 3 pieces of tiny tomatoes... pretty pathetic for a margarita pizza. I'd give them another chance but not order the margarita again. They should just take it off the menu. Calzones looked amazing and the panini sandwiches....

Yelp
New place popped up for delivery so I decided to try it out. Based on the reviews, it sounds a lot like Midici Pizzas concept. Order at the counter, sit down, and they bring it out to you. Didn't bother me at all. It was great for quick lunch. As for the pizza, it was better than ok, but not my favorite by far. First off, why crumble sausage? It makes it grainy. Secondly, the crust was tough and dry. For wood fired I would have expected crisp. We also ordered the caprese salad and tiramisu which were both good.

Dani D.

Yelp
We stumbled onto this place by accident and I am glad we did! The pizza was good and the service was fine. Not a fan of counter service, but there was a server who offered drink refills.
google avatar

Markus F.

Yelp
I had the spaghetti with a salad. Big mistake. The salad tasted like dirty lettuce and the pasta was dry. The sauce was flavorless. I found it to be little expensive for the serving size too. The cannoli was good. I'll give them that. But I'm kind of kicking myself. They are a wood fire pizza place and I order spaghetti. Foolish on my end.

Yelp
Our neighbor was raving about this place saying that's where she goes for a great pizza. So while we were out, we decided to stop here for an early dinner and check it out. I was surprised when I entered and found out the place was like a Panera, where you walk up to a counter to order, rather than having a server take your order at your table. (Once you order, though, they do bring it to your table versus calling your name / number and having you come back to the counter to get your meal.) I really like pizza so I ordered a 10" cheese and sausage, and a small Caesar salad. (Another reviewer said their Caesar salad had anchovies - fortunately that must not be the normal way they serve it because I didn't have them on mine, thank heavens.) My wife got a combo which was a 6" pizza and a salad. We also ordered a soda and a wine. We sat outside on the patio because inside was very air conditioned and chilly. Outside on the patio we picked a table with an umbrella. A cheery server brought out our drinks and salads. The table top wobbled and we were afraid our drinks might spill if we leaned on it wrong. There was a sugar pack under one of the legs so I thought that was the problem. But the problem wasn't the legs, it was that the top itself was loose. I checked the screws and there was no easy way to fix it. I check another table and it was the same way. So we were just very careful about leaning on the table during the meal. Our salads were good and fresh. And the wine pour was generous. The same server brought out pizzas. I realized when I got mine, a 10" was much more than I could finish. The pizza was done well, fresh and tasty but it was a lot for one person. I was slightly disappointed with the sausage on the pizza because it was crumbles of meat covering the entire pizza. I like when the sausage is actually pieces of meat I can chew. It's a personal preference. All in all, the food was good, the service was excellent, but the atmosphere was disappointingly Panera-ish.

Yelp
My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time last night to have a birthday-supper celebration for one of our adult children and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was conveniently located off of Santa Fe Drive in Littleton, CO, had plenty of parking, was nicely decorated inside and out, were not welcomed upon entering, were seated quickly in our preferred outside dining area, our server was friendly but new and kept forgetting important things like napkins, utensils, and beverages, our food (all of us got 10" personal pizzas) were excellent!, and our celebration was great.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
The pizza was great. The food was made quickly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I enjoyed it a lot and will be going back again.

Greg D.

Yelp
We went there for a birthday dinner. The staff was excellent. They acted like they actually wanted us to be there! It's amazing these days when you go to an establishment and 'they' want 'you' to feel privileged to be served by 'them'. This was the exact opposite; from the managers to staff clearing off the table. They were so appreciative of us spending our time and money there. Each staff member was empowered to check on our table which was frequent but not overwhelming. The food was delicious and service even better! We'll go back!

Yelp
Love this spot! Delicious food, love the pizza options and that I can get a personal size. I get the combo with a pizza, salad and drink and it's such a great deal! The Italian cream puff were to die for!!

Yelp
Love Piccino's! Caesar salad and Blanca Pizza all day everyday! And love me some of the hot pepper oil for dipping!

Yelp
Really beautiful establishment with great pizza. Had a really great performer playing guitar and harmonica which made great ambiance come with family and friends.

Yelp
First time ordering pizza here. Was super excited to try these, as our favorite pizza shop shut down. I have a gluten and dairy allergy, so it's very difficult to find a pizza place that can accompany this and still make the pizza taste good. We spent $94 on pizza, and when my husband came home, I saw that both my pizzas had cheese on them. I used the online TapThru app to order the pizzas, and they didn't have a selection button for "no dairy" so I put "no dairy or cheese" in the comments for both of my pizzas. We live 30 min away from the restaurant, so this would be an additional hour before I could eat. When I called the restaurant to see if we could bring back the pizza, the woman who answered the phone was very kind and thought it would be fine to replace the order and she said that the comments for no dairy didn't come through. This was a relief until she asked her manager, who in the background, [I'm assuming she thought I couldn't hear her] asked if I used TapThru, the girl on the phone confirmed and the manager said "then it's her fault she put it in wrong, no we won't replace the order she'll have to reorder. ". I was blown away by this treatment, I've never experienced such horrific customer service in the pizza industry! I'm assuming, this was an error on the TapThru app, because I 100% added the comments on the comment section, but upon reviewing my receipt, it was apparent the comment didn't make it in there. I'm very sad, because these pizzas look amazing, too bad they'll never get our business again! Disgusting customer service!

Bashkim B.

Yelp
We have been coming to this place for quite some time and this time the service was horrible. We got our order and no one came to see if food was ok, never got asked for refills. After we finished our food the plates set on our table for quite a while. We went twice to the counter to ask for our dessert. They finally brought our dessert in a to go box which was so inappropriate. We left the place feeling unwelcome and unacknowledged. So disappointed.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
I don't know about the food (yet), but it's a cluster behind the register. There is all kinds of food waiting to be picked up, and the staff keeps shuffling around orders. They don't have a clue what's going on. Be sure to check your order before you leave with someone else's order.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Great little find! Really nice happy hour and the caprese and meatballs were delicious! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Gustavo R.

Yelp
Good average pizza; flavor, dough, tomato sauce but not for that price. First time getting pizza in Littleton and I guess price and quality are good enough for the suburbs but not for us. There are way better...and cheaper options in Denver. Unfortunately, we would not be coming back.
google avatar

Elizabeth Y.

Yelp
We were in the area and wanted to try something new so we stopped by here for some drinks and pizza... and I am so glad we did! The customer service is great from the moment you get in to when you leave. Our server was a younger woman who was very kind and I believe to be the owners also kindly assisted in checking in on us. The pizza is DELICIOUS! We ordered the Hawaiiana with fresh jalapeno's and the Angeli which both were fantastic. The pizza has the perfect crust with plenty of toppings. What made it the best was their spicy oil which is made in house! It adds the perfect kick and sweetness to the pizza which really makes this place stand out. Unfortunately, this place is far out of our way however we will definitely be back!
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
Love this place! It's basically the same as il vicino if you have ever been there. We got the calzone and the hero, but the Vespa is amazing too. We will be back!
google avatar

Makaylah S.

Yelp
Great pizza. We ordered delivery, it was on time and hot! Margherita w/ sundried tomatoes and white pizza, both had nice flavors and came with parm& and i think chili oil or hot honey couldn't tell but it was delicious. Definitely will order from here again!
google avatar

Brian J.

Yelp
We've ordered many times for take hot and delivery. Their pizza is amazing. I'd love to give them 5 stars, but I would also give them 1 star for cleanliness. We used two highchairs in our first dine-in experience and were turned off. One was covered in pasta sauce and both were black. It is clear they they haven't been cleaned in months. The grime and filth buildup was not from the previous guest, but over several months the of guests. Sanitation seems superficial and management needs to focus on cleaning and keeping us safe. COVID-19 is not an excuse. It's bad management! However, we will continue to order for take out. The ladies were very polite and service was great. Management: PLEASE scrub your highchairs and do a better job on cleaning your restaurant! Elbow grease and soap go a long way!
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Great wood fired pizza and calzones. Thursday they have live music. Great place for large groups.

Garrett H.

Yelp
The margarita pizza is not at all a margarita pizza. They put 5 slivers of thinly sliced basil on top of a cheese pizza. No tomato was present on my pizza whatsoever. It was undercooked and wasn't crispy. The Cesar salad with their in house dressing was disgusting. Go eat elsewhere if you like good pizza
google avatar

Lindsey K.

Yelp
I defected from Walter's (long story) and have been ordering from Piccino about once a week for at least a year now. I think they do a great job of being consistent with the products I have ordered, and I have only had one hiccup that was clearly the fault of Grub Hub. As a bonus, the employees have all been friendly and seem very well trained. I usually order pizza, because... it's a pizza place. Their marg pizza is very basic, so I recommend adding fresh tomatoes to it. I also enjoy their minestrone soup, the Piccino salad, the calzones, and the tiramisu. I have never ordered any sandwiches. They offer Panna water, which is delicious, and a variety of San Pellegrino products. They have beer, wine and alcohol, but I'm not sure if that can be delivered. I should ask next time. I could really use some vodka.
google avatar

Steph K.

Yelp
Horrible service. Our food was wrong, and when we tried to explain to the blonde server (who also worked as the cashier) what we actually ordered, she just stood there and stared at us like "What do you expect ME to do?" And then she insisted that it was correct, even though it was obvious it wasn't. And she walked away!! We had to repeatedly order drink refills before one finally came. The pizza was dry, the salads were soaked with dressing (even though we asked for dressing on the side), and the lemonade tasted watered down. I guess that's why the place was almost completely empty, even though it was a Saturday at lunchtime. Really lousy birthday experience. Couldn't get out of there quick enough.
google avatar

Sage G.

Yelp
This place has been a go-to ever since we went there on a whim about 3 years ago. We order delivery almost on a monthly basis, and try to go in person as well. This is the type of pizza we crave. Not too greasy, wood oven, perfect toppings, and an acceptable wait time.
google avatar

Farah A.

Yelp
I order delivery from post mates and the pizza was delish!!!!! The side salad was nothing to brag about but the pizza was hot fresh and cooked perfectly! Just the perfect amount of sauce cheese and toppings will definitely order again! Pizza was post worthy for an instagram post
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
The gluten free pizzas and paninis are so tasty. My favorite is the Bianca pizza and the cheesey Sicilian panini that's on a gluten free roll!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I had been here before and had a pretty good experience, but this time I was unimpressed. Not terribly busy, so I'm not sure if they were training new staff of what. The appetizer of artichoke dip was tasty and as hot as a Fukushima reactor meltdown. I think I burned my palate so badly I looked like the CryptKeeper for a week. Okay, that one's on me. But I'm pretty sure our pizza sat under a nonoperational heat lamp for awhile before finding its way to us. It was a little above room temperature when it hit the table. (I'm the only one who got scalded with the artichoke so it wasn't just that I was scarred and numb.) I'm willing to chalk the experience up to Covid challenges or new staff, but I'll probably find someplace else before coming back.
google avatar

Tony N.

Yelp
Pizza: for wood-fired pizza, it should have been crisp. Everything sunk into the middle and the slices were flappy. Flavor was there, though. Apps: Caesar was just ok. Spinach dip was a bit too oily. Alfredo: Flavorful, but again.. too oily. Service: next to nonexistent. Coursing was okay until dessert with a stack of plates in front of us tho whole time waiting to be bussed. Dessert: Cream puffs were decent but the tiramisu came out FROZEN. I won't be back. I usually don't leave reviews but being in the industry, I hope this helps the business grow because I can see a lot of potential.
google avatar

Jay F.

Yelp
Pizza was kinda bland. Definitely did not taste like I'd expect wood oven to taste. Wife had the meatball appetizer and said they tasted flat out bad. Nice enough people but wouldn't return b/c food just wasn't where we wanted it to be.
google avatar

Jean O.

Yelp
Hard to order. Need to order from table so you can fully peruse the menu. Did not enjoy the food or ordering at the counter.
google avatar

Jack L.

Yelp
We tried different pizzas here and agreed the #13 - BIANCA was best. Didn't like the focaccia, which was really just plain bread of generous size. These are italian -style pizzas, so expect them to be small and thin crust.

Kk S.

Yelp
We found this gem as we were driving through Littleton. The staff was very pleasant and professional, the wood oven pizza was SOOOO delicious! We'd definitely recommend this spot - nice covered area to sit outside, some TV's, etc...the food was quick and very yummy. Check them out!
google avatar

Crystal Y.

Yelp
I've tried place twice now. Both times the pizza was cold and meh tasting. There are many other pizza restaurants to choose from.
google avatar

M L.

Yelp
Good pizza, wood fired oven, crispy crust, lots of toppings filling the slices and a variety of drink selections including craft root beer.

Dana S.

Yelp
Self Order not convenient - Pizza dough not crispy the best. Meh - Won't be back.

Jordyn G.

Yelp
Great food, great service, and kind staff. 4 stars though because don't call your pizza a margherita pizza if it's just a cheese pizza with basil on it. The wedge salad was amazing however, 11/10.

Jocy R.

Yelp
After reading the comments, I relate to the customer service experience, it is just okay. The customer service and ambiance needs to improve. However, the pizza is the best I have had in the entire state and that's coming from someone who frequently travels all over. I just the classic pepperoni. I will definitely be going back.
