Absolutely beautiful. First time in hardware lane. Piccolina has become a main place for dessert. Had the salted caramel and pistachios. Loved it. Took a long time to decide which one to go with because they have lot of options. Definitely coming back and good customer service but should have accepted cash as well. Hope they make some changes. But overall good experience.

Delicious, high-quality gelato. The Better Than Nutella flavour is a must-try. Love that they put liquid chocolate in the cone! Great location and friendly staff. Definitely one of the top gelato spots in Melbourne.

A popular authentic gelateria on Hardware Lane. There are number for different flavours and a special menu to choose from. There are some seats available both inside and outside the shop, and reminds me of Italy. Staff were friendly and patient. I tried the Lemon, Dark Chocolate and Pistachio. The gelato was smooth, but a tad stickier than some that I've had before. Flavour was on point. This shop has multiple stores throughout Melbourne with different ratings. If you are near Hardware Lane, this one is worth a visit!

Piccolina Gelateria serves top-quality, authentic gelato with wonderfully bold flavors. You’re welcome to sample them all — though with the long queues (which are common here), it’s best to decide quickly! I went for a hazelnut and pistachio combo, plus their special peanut butter, caramel, and pistachio pairing. The nut flavors were rich and intense, with delightful little fragments of nuts in every bite. Absolutely beautiful gelato!

Taste like having Italy in Melbourne. Nice and helpful staff. We got few different items the best one was Lemon. Unlike most of Gelateria in Melbourne that you just taste too much sugar this one was nice and smooth

I love the gelato here. Very good quality but the queue was really long. The seats aren’t great and service was ok, but I highly recommend coming here for great gelato

No matter what time of day, there's always a line outside and now I understand why! After finally having the chance to try it, I can confidently say it was well worth the wait. The ice cream menu is conveniently displayed on the wall, which made it easy to make our choices while still in line. It was a thoughtful touch that helped streamline the ordering process, especially with the long queue. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of the shop. As for the ice cream itself—absolutely delicious! We tried the mango, coconut, and pistachio flavors, and each one was creamy, flavorful, and refreshing. It’s clear why this place has such a strong reputation.
