Piccolo Buco is one of those rare places where a single bite tells you everything you need to know. The pizza here is truly outstanding: soft, airy, beautifully risen, and wonderfully flavorful. The crust is rich and slightly chewy, with just the right amount of char, while the center remains delicate and light. It’s the kind of pizza that feels indulgent but never heavy, allowing you to enjoy every slice without feeling overwhelmed.
The ingredients are clearly high quality, from the fresh tomatoes to the creamy mozzarella and fragrant olive oil. Every topping tastes intentional and balanced. You can tell that great care goes into every pizza that comes out of the oven.
The restaurant itself is small and cozy, which adds to its charm but also explains the frequent line outside. Still, the wait is absolutely worth it. The atmosphere inside is warm and lively, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Piccolo Buco offers one of the most memorable pizza experiences in Rome: simple, authentic, and exceptionally delicious.
I left completely satisfied and would return in a heartbeat.
