We liked the intimate atmosphere. We were welcomed by a glass of Lambrusco and olives, olive oil with balsamic vinegar and bread. Most of us ordered the mushroom pasta which was very delicious, I wished it was less salty. We also had the zucchini pasta and the pork cheeks and everyone in our party really enjoyed the dishes. The only dessert option was a very light and tasty lemon olive oil cake with raspberry sauce. We found the wine selection a bit underwhelming but it was not a deal breaker. The owner was very attentive and friendly.

If you're looking for a cozy spot for a quiet meal with your special someone this place would definitely fit the bill. Dark and quiet with only half a dozen tables you're not going to be fighting crowds to get a seat. Service was very friendly and attentive to our requests. The food was very tasty Italian style food. We enjoyed our visit.

The place itself is very small but nice, also service is good. We wrongly booked the date and did not realize it, still they let us have a dinner, also a welcome drink is a nice way to welcome the customers. Food was good but portions are really small so I would say the food is way overpriced. Other than that is a nice place.

It's a very nice boutique restaurant. The gentleman who took care of us was very kind. He offered us lambrusco when we sat at the table. Then he offered olives and olive oil. The food was very good and filling. Definitely a place you should visit if you have time. Thank you very much for the extra lambrusco. By the way, it is definitely a place you should come with a reservation.

YOU NEED TO GO HERE !!! It was sheer happenstance we ended up walking past this place during our weekend in Porto. I had been looking for a nice place that was elegant but not uptight. This place was perfect! We made a reservation with google and since our Portuguese is terrible, but the owner also spoke perfect english. The first thing i want to say is it felt like they opened just for us, which if so was incredibly nice of them! It felt magical. We sat right by the window to enjoy the street life and it was all by candlelight as well. The restaurant is not huge it felt like it had been decorated with love and comfort. It felt like everything was there to compliment the food not take away from it. The quality of food was excellent and everything that we ordered was fantastic and perfectly plated! All our dishes had perfect portions, was super flavorful and felt like I was eating family recipes. The menu is the perfect size and anything you order on it will be heavenly. The owner recommended a great red wine that wasn't breaking the bank and the desserts were to die for we ordered two! THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!!! I am only sad we didn't get to go there again as it was our last night in Porto. I can see this place being the restaurant we go back to every year to celebrate. If you only have one night in PORTO I highly recommend you go here to enjoy the food and the company your with.

Come here for an intimate dining experience. We had an early dinner at 7.30pm and were waited on by the loveliest host who has lived in Italy for 20 years. The menu was limited but every dish we ordered was delicious. The mushroom pasta was rich and flavourful, while the pork braised cheeks were so tender they melted in your mouth. Will definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cosy dinner place.

Where do I begin? I'll start by saying that this place is AMAZING! The food is otherworldly. The service is immaculate! Porto is a city full of history and prestige. Included in this wonderful city is this restaurant. The husband and wife duo provide a service that is unmatched only by their kindness and food. You will fall in love from the appetizer to the dessert. Many thanks to the chef and her partner for a great experience!!

Just go! Go! Go! Make a reservation as they are almost always full. It is small and quaint and the food is phenomenal. João was the consummate host. Complimentary champagne, olives and fresh warm bread. Then we had the soup of the day, chicken meatballs, peppered pasta with pecorino and ham cheeks with mash potatoes and broccolini. Last but not least lemon orange cake that melts in your mouth. Everything was amazing! I wish I could give them 10 stars!
