Piccolo Hotel

First of all I would like to thank the couple working there for their help and especially for preparing the breakfast as a packed lunch for 2 days and the breakfast was made to my liking. The hotel staff are amazing the hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well with wide variety of food. The hotel is also few minutes walk from the train station in Locarno.

A quiet small hotel sitting above the Lage Maggiore which is a 10 minute walk away. Very friendly service and good breakfast offering. Fridge in the room.|Beds was too soft for me. Rather old-fashioned look of the room and bathroom and very small TV.

Absolutely enjoy our stay at Piccolo Hotel (Room of 4 / 2 nights). It's a lovely family-run hotel. The hotel is well-maintained and the decoration shows owners' attention to details and their love for travel. The owners made us feel welcomed and provided great information about the city and the neighbourhood. They also did their best to accommodate our requests. The room is clean and comfortable. Food is beyond expectation, both in term of variety and quality. The breakfast is a feast -- variety of fresh fruits, cold cuts, bread and pastry, tea and hot drinks, cereals and more. I cannot think of anything negative. The hotel deserves more stars. Will definitely come back.

Amazing service and experience at this little boutique hotel very close to downtown Locarno and the lake shore. The rooms are comfortable and some have a balcony or even a terrace. The breakfast is awesome with various local products and homemade marmalade and cold tea (ginger and lemon). The staff is the most amazing, friendly and always helping you the best they can whenever needed.

Very cosy, small hotel, just like a second home. The staff was super friendly, we felt welcome at all times. Hotel and rooms decorated with love. Rooms clean. Very nice breakfast. I celebrated my birthday there and even got a piece of cake in the morning, decorated with fruit. To recommend, would definitely go again.

We are a family of four. We stayed one night at the hotel. I would give this hotel 10 stars if it was possible. Everything was great! The room was clean, comfortable even for four people, tastefully decorated with lovely pieces, and we, as vintage fans, were amazed by the details inside the room and in every corner of the hotel. The owners, a lovely couple pay attention to every detail. The breakfast was amazing. Two of us are vegan, and the owner made sure that we choose the products that are suitable to us. We wish we could stay for more time, and we wish that every hotel on our trip would look the same. It was a unique experience, and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. This is a very well run and characterful hotel. Our room was both quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the station and lakeside and free parking is available. The breakfasts were exceptionally good...fresh fruit, Bircher muesli, a variety of breads, eggs etc. A hotel with a personal touch to which we hope to return one day.

I stayed in this hotel with my parents and it was perfect. It is a 10min (upward) walk from Locarno station. It is simple and not too big but has everything you need in a cosy shabby chique style. The staff is extremely nice. So helpful providing all information you need proactively. This is by no means a given in Switzerland, that is why I want to stress it here. Breakfast was also fantastic with a good choice of bread, müesli, fruit, cheese etc. I would absolutely go again if I visit this area again im the future and would therefore highly recommend this hotel.
