My husband and I shared a delicious lamb pizza (pictured), while our daughter and son enjoyed a pasta dish each. The service was efficient and very friendly. The food and drinks were great, and we all enjoyed our experience there.

The truffle gnocchi here was good — soft, well-cooked, and paired nicely with the sauce. It definitely hit the spot. That said, if you’re a real gnocchi lover and want something truly standout, I’d recommend also trying the gnocchi at 1889 Enoteca in Woolloongabba, which is hard to beat. I’d be keen to come back and try their pizza options, as they looked great coming out of the kitchen. Overall, a solid spot worth checking out.

Good place to eat, food was Ok and the service was pretty good. Paid almost $400 for 5 adults and a an infant. Tend to think that was a bit excessive but given they are in Grand Central and had lots of staff I guess overheads are high. The only improvement was the menu cannot be read easily, font style and size was hopeless. The bloke taking payment said they had monocles (magnifiers).... if that was the case the staff should have known and offered them, we were using mobiles to photograph the menu to read it.... they saw us doing that... poor effort! The only bad, and sneaks in by stealth.... you are asked to consider a tip when paying by card..... not a good look here in Oz and reason enough for me not to come back. JULY 2025 UPDATE Despite some thinking this was negative I went back.... second time was good. Had the veal and fettuccine, literally melt in mouth veal, very nice. Wife had the meatballs and the entree balloon garlic bread is excellent. It was cold and the staff had heating on above us and a flame tube, very welcome. The porn cocktails were very nice, passionfruit with wine to add. So if you after a good feed come here, staff remembered my first review and were pretty decent about it. I will be back again.

I booked about 10 days ahead to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Got a "please confirm booking" email about 3 days beforehand and got a confirmed email, of which I took a photo. Got to the restaurant and guess what? No booking. The first waitress was unsure what to do even when I showed her the confirmation of the booking, the second waitress took control and found us a table. Not a great start. Not a wide range of choices when compared to other Italian restaurants. Meal ordered and was very good. Big servings of seemingly "home made" rather than factory made food. Customers in and outside the restaurant all seemed happy but not the usual "family" vibe you get from Italian restaurants. Came to pay and it has an "add your tip" option. I said to the older cashier about the stuff up and no subsequent tip, and he just shrugged it off. A week later I get an email asking how was it. I gave them the heads up about the booking stuff up on our big occasion, and their reply was .......nothing, nothing at all. No apology, no "here's a discount or free meal", literally NOTHING.

Had a great experience at Piccolo Papa! I ordered the Putanesca and the Mamarella pizza—both were excellent. The pizza dough was perfectly chewy, the cheese was top quality, and the meatballs were delicious. The French fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The Putanesca pasta was absolutely amazing. My only (very subjective) complaint is the music choice—would love to hear modern Italian pop instead of American pop to match the vibe of the place. Overall, highly recommend for a delicious Italian meal!

This restaurant is quiet a intimate little restaurant. It’s pretty cozy. I had the seafood pasta was quiet nice however the sauce was a little sweet. Would come back again for sure Came back for dinner brought a friend, not sure if they changed hands or chefs, but i ordered the seafood pasta again the pasta was way over cooked the sauce was alot going on more chili and almost asian flavour. My friend orded the pasta that was stuffed, the sauce was very cheesy and almost like bèchamel sauce she was not very happy.

The demonica pizza is cracking. Nice heat to it. The dough is incredible, so light and fluffy.
