Picket Fence Motel

😊: Lovely little motel in one of the most beautiful towns on the East coast. The owner was extremely friendly. The room was perfect size and included a thick information binder detailing all the sites, restaurants (include menus!) and absolutely anything you could possibly want to do or see while in St Andrews. Beautiful outdoor space with table/chairs surrounded by apple trees. Extremely close to the best EV charger in town. Close to all the best places to eat, shop - and of course the ocean.. 😢: N/A, everything was perfect.

We loved this little motel. It was just a little bit out of town and it was very comfortable. There was a lovely seating area out front where we could watch the deer, bunny rabbits, and chipmunks frolicking. The room was clean and comfortable. The Management were very pleasant and helpful. Very quiet location.

A beautiful charming little place. They took special care to add little extras to make your stay more homey. Very clean and comfy rooms. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and she pointed out local attractions and “things to do”. Would definitely stay here again.

😊: Very little. 😢: For the price we paid, we felt we received inferior accommodation. From the time we checked in and were required to individually sign a number of additional rules like no cooking in units, no cannabis use anywhere on property, etc, we knew this would be a different experience. Motel is dated, our two- bed room had only one night table, hairs from past guests were evident in the bathroom, blankets/ pillows and beds were second class and detached location made a walk to town too far. The nightly cost should have been at least 1/3 less in comparison to other stays on our vacation trip. Will never stay here again!.

The Picket Fence Motel in St. George is an excellent 5-star budget option. The rooms are clean, well-stocked, and clearly cared for with attention to detail, making it feel far above typical budget motels. The service from the lady at the front desk was friendly and efficient. It's a great location too - can recommend it without hesitation.

Excellent customer service. Great location close to downtown. Rooms are very clean. Local deer in the yard eating crab apples and bird feed.

The room was spotless, the owner was so kind and the motel had such great vibes. The location is walking distance from downtown st andrews and it’s great small town experiences.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything about this little motel is excellent!! Owners are friendly and very helpful! Rooms are very clean and cute. Well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, anything you may have forgotten when packing! Motel is within walking distance of the wharf and all the little shops. Will definitely stay again if I get the chance!

I enjoyed staying at this motel. Small rooms but in good condition. Parking right in front of the room. Friendly staff and convenient location.

Cute, retro motel room (we stayed in room 15). I was impressed with the cleanliness and newly updated bathroom, and was also grateful for the hair dryer in the bathroom and the mini fridge in the room (after spending 4 previous nights in various motels that didn't offer mini fridges, hair dryers, soundproofing and had outdated rooms, poor lighting and weird smells). When we return to Saint Andrews we will definitly look to the Picket Fence Motel for accomadations again, whether or not there is a biker presence. Ps - those retro yellow and white picnic table and umbrella combos are so cute!

So cute, so affordable and still clean! Thank you for being clean and adequate lodging, without being outdated or expensive. We'll be back for sure. Love those yellow and white umbrella topped picnic tables too.

Great little motel to stay at while on a road trip, especially on motorcycles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even left a bag of rags for the bikes on the doorstep and they provide a spot to wash the motorcycles. Hookup for electric cars. Computer, printer, books. Clean comfortable rooms and renovated bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again!

The Picket Fence was a really affordable find that delivered great value. Quaint, clean, and centrally located, we were really pleased to find that this small motel with bright yellow doors had A/C, comfortable beds and an immaculate level of cleanliness. Would come back here again, for sure!

If your into retro motels this place is great! It will pass any white glove test. Sue , the owner is accommodating good natured and takes pride in her business . Go for it,

Clean, comfortable, convenient and friendly! Low key and a short walk/drive/bike to the commercial area of St. Andrews. Quiet, clean shower, coffee pot and a mini fridge in the room plus a lovely lawn with picnic tables and seats for an evening beverage - we were charmed by the picket fence!
