Picnic

We stopped by Picnic on our last morning in Jackson and before the flight home. There is plenty of parking in the lot and along the street. The restaurant is cute and clean. The yute ordered a Bada Bing (Italian meat style) and he devoured it. He said it was delicious. I had the Chicken Zattar panini and it was also delicious with a thick piece of moist chicken inside. I saved half for the flight. The lady had a cup of lentil soup and it was great. For deserts we had pumpkin bread, thick chewy chocolate chip cookie and a double chocolate chip cookie that was fantastic. There is a water dispenser near the front of the store also. Great place to eat. Super friendly staff. Even met a lady working there that was a friend of a girl that is brother to guy that is dating my brother's daughter - Wyoming, Texas, Louisiana connection. Picnic is a wonderful breakfast spot in Jackson Hole. I tried the Savory Sunrise Bowl and it was fantastic- fresh ingredients, great flavors, and really satisfying without feeling heavy. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. A perfect stop for breakfast or a quick bite before heading out for the day.

It's refreshing when a cafe gets all the basics right and delivers a great experience. The bread for the toast was local made, the egg souffle was perfection, the jam was tasty and local? It's been a decade since I ate toast and jam yet here I am recommending it the pepper bacon was well prepared and delicious. The coffee was also excellent.

Sit by the window, sip your choice of drink, not only the caffeine will wake you up, but you will also find peace in the process. Breakfast comes in big portions, fresh and tasty. 10/10 recommended!

Great breakfast/brunch place. Everything looks great and taste great, one of the better places we ate in Jackson.

Cute place with good coffee and bakery items. It seems like the owner is the same with Persophone Bakery that is 5min away (by car) cause bakery items looked about the same and, most importantly, take-out bag for a bakery item literally said Persophone on it. However, dining in menu seemed little different. I had Breakfast Burrito from here and I don’t think that’s available at Persophone Bakery. From flavor perspective, the burrito was amazing; filled with sausage and eggs covered with slightly spicy sauce and beans. However, I don’t think I would have the burrito again cause I’m quite obssesed about having burrito/sandwich/burger as a hand-held food. And burrito here was impossible to do that cause it was covered by ample amount of sauce. Overall quality of their foods and drinks were amazing, so I’d love to visit again if next chance.

I am visiting Jackson and tried the breakfast at Picnic. High quality food and service. The bread looked and tasted homemade. The cappuccino was spot on. I was so impressed that I went back later in the day for lunch! The chicken and wild rice soup was loaded with chicken and veggies and of course, I needed to have another slice of that multigrain bread.

Probably one of the best ratio between how good the food looks and how mid it was. Everything looks amazing but the taste just was not great. Also we found it to be overpriced. $7 for a side of 2 strips of bacon is just too much (see picture). They can’t heat any of the pastries and they charge for a coffee refill even though the provided cups are rather small. Little bit of a let down based on reviews.

I stopped in to picnic with some family and friends for late breakfast early lunch. All the food we ordered was pretty good and the drinks were ok too (I don't love their coffee drinks but everything else is good. The service was good and the cashiers and baristas were nice and friendly. I ordered the breakfast burrito. I thought the size was pretty generous. My sister ordered the sunrise bowl and we ordered three pastries for the table. We orderedan almond croissant, holiday croissant (raspberry and pastry cream) and a kougin aman. I thought everything tasted pretty good.

Although this little cafe is located off the main strip of restaurants and stores, it had my favorite thing I ate during our whole Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip: the Jackson Hippie. This was such a good and unique breakfast sandwich with the perfect blend of flavors and textures! I loved it. The almond croissant was crunchy and delicious and the pumpkin pie latte was huge and tasty as well. The only downside for me would be that you order at the counter and they bring you your food but you have to get the coffee yourself (Starbucks style). This would normally be fine, but it was difficult when the cups were full to the brim. Overall, totally worth it though!

After a week in a tent and camping our way through Yellowstone and Tetons, we did an overnight at a local cabin and enjoyed the town of Jackson, Wy! We made our way to Picnic as our first stop for brunch. It was a clean, inviting space with great aesthetic for coffee and amazing tasteful food. We enjoyed a vanilla latte and flat white, the salmon toast (not pictured), the sunrise bowl, and French toast for our boys. We split the three dishes between 5 (two adults and three boys ). The staff was friendly from behind the counter and had quick service. You order from the counter and take number to your seat. Food is brought out hot and fresh. Clean your own spot! Enjoy!

Stoped in just before noon on a Friday. There was a long line, but it moved quickly and food arrived within 10 minutes or so. Super delish--the bread on the egg sandwich was super light and fluffy like a biscuit.

My husband and I ordered the breakfast burrito, and we both thought it was the best we've ever had. Well worth a little wait.

This place sits in a quiet, non touristy area which we appreciated. It's a small spot but they were super busy when we visited mid week. We were looking for a "basic breakfast " of eggs bacon and toast which we saw they had on the menu. The eggs were an egg soufflé. Which was ok with us. However, this soufflé was more like a thick egg custard and lacked any seasoning. The bacon was cooked nicely. The fresh sourdough was nice as was the house strawberry rhubarb jam. If you want standard breakfast food, give this place a miss. However if you are looking for a trendy bakery/coffee shop, you'll enjoy this place.

A perfect choice about a mile west of the town square, Picnic sits on a quiet street with a brightly lit interior that you can't miss on a cold winter morning when snowflakes are circling about. The interior is cozy with natural materials and comfortable chairs to sit and ruminate with a hot beverage. My delicious herbed egg sandwich was surprisingly tall and hefty. I won't need to eat again until dinner.

Love this spot for a quick and fulfilling lunch! Tons of healthy choices available and they're so delicious and filling. I ordered the Jackson Hippie breakfast sandwich and loved it. What a unique choice of sandwich fillings - beet chips, tomato jam, and the roasted squash made everything really pop!! Bread was fantastic too. Love that you can get their Persephone pastries here too The shop has both indoor and outdoor (a few small tables). The indoor is brightly decorated and has a very relaxed and modern vibe. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Popped in because I wanted a melt in your mouth croissant and the photos seem to point me in the direction of Picnic. Unfortunately, the almond croissant was not only small for the price but meh. Almost tasted like it was a day old and I won't let myself believe that's the case. The inside is super casual and it looks like a lot of people enjoy it on a Sunday morning. There are only a couple of tables outside the door so I wouldn't recommend this place for outside dining. Even though my line was long it did move and everything in the display case looked delicious. Maybe I just chose wrong.

This spot was awesome. It has a very trendy menu, and although expensive, we really enjoyed everything we got. It's part of a group that has a few other properties around town. This one is a little outside of the city and has a larger dining space, including outdoor seating. We got some pastries and breakfast dishes. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Coffee was ok. We came back again during our stay because it was good.

It's always a little bizarre when the food doesn't taste as good as it looks. To be clear - the food was still decent. It just wasn't mind-blowingly good. I enjoyed taking photos of it & admiring it more than I did eating it. Staff was wicked friendly & the vibes inside were nice, although a bit chilly. I would return for the matcha.

Great little hidden gem. At first based on the location, I wasn't sure what to expect- but the inside and food surpasses the first impression. Great options for lunch and breakfast. Not your standard meal either. Great golden lattes! Yummy treats to go! Was on the pricey side. $15 grilled cheese (includes no side). But would go back again.

After trying the sister restaurant Persephone yesterday for lunch, we decided to try picnic for breakfast and it did not disappoint. We got a flat white, a white chocolate mocha, avocado toast with a fried egg, and several pastries. All were incredibly flavorful and fresh. Terrific coffee. This time around I ordered it for pick up to avoid the line and they were prompt and everything was made per our requests including the modifications we made to both coffees. The store is just as cute as Persephone but outside of town square which was nice for parking.

Top breakfast spot in the valley. Food portions are large and the chef's influence on the dishes is outstanding. Breakfast burrito and the herb sandwich were our favorites.

I've lived in Jackson for almost 14 years, and have been a disciple of Persephone and Picnic for as long as they've been open- how have I never had the "dirty Hippie" breakfast sandwich before today?!?! I'm gonna tell ya, it's the best thing I've put on my mouth since I got married. Egg, goat cheese, epic jam, and a secretly gluten-free English muffin?! The espresso is the best in town, the team who works there is literally BEYOND GOOD, and now this sandwich in my life? **chef's kiss.**

I was hesitant to order food because let's be honest - casual dining is not Jackson Holes forte. This is the place to go! Beautifully situated inside the cafe beckons to those of us who enjoy sipping tea or coffee while working in a public space. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and while it is a twist on the original Cuban it was damn delicious. The bread was just beautiful and the sauce was yum. 10/10 recommend having coffee and a light lunch at Picnic

This restaurant has a ton of potential. But unfortunately the people who work here act like they hate their jobs. And the food tastes like it too...

This is a cute little place on the outskirts of the town of Jackson with its own lot, so parking can be found easily. There was no line when we stopped by, so we were able to order immediately. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, which was decent sized. I also ordered the nitro cold brew, which was strong and delicious. Prices were reasonable (for Jackson) and they also had a wide selection of baked goods, so I grabbed a cookie to go. The food wasn't wow worthy, but it wasn't awful. Not sure I would come back here but maybe I just ordered wrong cuz others have said positive things about this place.

A very cute place. We came on a Saturday in September. The Citrus and Beet salad was very tasty. We added prosciutto to the grilled cheese and it was surprisingly thick, but still absolutely delicious. Inside is slightly small, but they have a large patio to make up for it. The patio is shaded with a large tree and they have umbrellas.

We went here for breakfast and ordered bakery items. They have a menu of other items but the bakery seems to get our attention. Our muffins, breads and cakes were delicious. Dogs are only allowed outside on the patio.

Good coffee, nice, bright ambiance and great food. My favorite stop when I am in the neighborhood. Try the ham and gruyere sandwich - it is the real deal!

I have had lunch several times at Picnic. Each time I was impressed with the sandwiches and coffee. We always take home some cookies for later- they are always fresh and delicious.Prices are typical of Jackson.

Let's share a secret between those in the know. Get your ass to Picnic. Coffee roasted and brewed is on point, have a little latte with lavender or go with a quad americano that's as dark as your soul. And like Nietzsche said, when you look into a quad Americano, the darkness of the caffeine stares back. If you like quaint and local and pasties described as amazing, here is your starting point. Many fluffy egg delights, but also many creations of the chocolate kind, but all to the delight. Persephone is a sister locale, but alas, another cup another time.

What a breakfast spot here in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. With the same ownership as Persephone, this place surpasses the typical aura of a go-to breakfast spot with fancy/tasty dishes, good service, and a great selection overall. Only Caveat is that the prices are high but oh well, 9.25/10

Food: French Toast Bread Pudding - 3.5/5 - Not your average french toast. It's definitely more dense and it was a step up from the normal. Bacon: 3/5 - A bit on the crispy side. Pretty standard fare. Smores Cookie: 4/5 - How can you not like smores? The marshmallow was a bit more on the pasty side as opposed to more structured. Overall the flavors and textures were good. Kouign Amann: 4/5 - Such a lovely texture. A sweet and crispy pastry that one can't ever pass up. Service: 4/5 - Very friendly staff. Ambiance: 5/5 - A nice setting for brunch and very well decorated.

I rarely write reviews, i'm pretty sure i got food poisoning. I opened my coffee after and saw chunky stuff in my coffee. my friend threw up like 35 minutes later. she requested oat milk but instead gave her dairy milk. and i have had non stop nausea and getting sick to my stomach and i'm having horrible number 2 issues. This place does not check their expiration dates on their stuff.

Taste good, I think it is one of the best branches in Jackson. I recommend the burrito

Food and coffee drinks were all spot on. The soufflé eggs were fluffy little delicious egg clouds. Service was very slow (quoted a 25 min wait but ended up taking 40+ mins), so be prepared on weekends to wait for a while for hot food. All around everyone was happy with their food and pleasantly surprised with this little tucked away spot

Very good breakfast and coffee. We got the breakfast burrito and herbed egg sandwich. The breakfast burrito was incredible, 10/10. Herb sandwich was 9.5/10. Flavors and freshness were on point. Coffee was very good as well. Highly recommend

This place is a sister business with Persephone bakery. The pastries could be improved. Most of them are just a bit too sweet, and the cinnamon brioche is coated in a ridiculous amount of sugar. The lattes have the perfect balance of flavor, not overpowering, but enough to taste. The sandwiches are very tasty, and they have great gluten free option English muffin that don't fall apart. The space is large enough for a group of 4 or 5, maybe 6 if they aren't too busy. Service is OK, neither bad nor amazing. They have many gluten free options that are pretty good. I would come here again for their lunch and coffee.

A delicious, fresh, local option during our road trip through Jackson. I had the Citrus & Beet salad with chicken which was perfectly dressed and each bite was flavorful. The fresh baked bread was also a yummy touch. Loved it!

This is a sister restaurant of the Persephone bakery in downtown Jackson Hole. We tried their Latte, Mocha, Breakfast Burrito and an Avocado toast. We loved the service and the ambiance. Food tasted great! This is a must visit breakfast/brunch place if you're in the area.

This place is a sister company of Persephone bakery, we came here for breakfast the day before we left, Wyoming. The service on the food were very very good. I'm a huge fan of breakfast. I ordered the herb breakfast sandwich and a cold brew with chocolate syrup, and we also got the hazelnut banana bread which was to die for.

I spend the whole summer at JH and i wasn't have a chance to find a great, balanced espresso however, this morning I randomly got here and OMG! that was one of the greatest espresso in my liiifeeee Guys thank you so much you just saved me

The place was cute but didn't have enough seating for the amount of traffic they had. My wife ordered the bread pudding French toast which was served with mixed berries and a lemon curd. It was flavorful and very sweet. Overall this dish was a four out of five. I tried the pork French toast. Sourdough bread, baked egg, pork, maple sauce, goat cheese and peppers, It was just okay in my opinion. I think a different bread would be nice or just toasting the sourdough would help. The egg needed salt, the pork didn't add anything to the dish. They need to have pork belly or something with some flavor, the goat cheese and peppers were very good on top though. But for the price I wouldn't order this dish again. I would rate it a two out of five. Drip coffees were good and the pastries looked very good.

This place has no business being as good as it is. Everything from the walk up and order layout, to getting your food and coffee super fast, to the food being whole, healthy, super tasty, big portions, everything. Place is the whole shibang. Nice staff on top of everything. Not too expensive but you get what you pay for. I'd pay more.

Picnic is a cute restaurant where you place your food and drink order at the front counter and fetch it when ready. The decor is bright and inviting. Plus, there were plenty of tables both inside and outside of the cafe. When we arrived for breakfast around 8:30 am, it was already busy and crowded with people (sitting a bit too close for my comfort, sans masks) but the line moved along nicely and our order was ready after a short wait. The staff were friendly. But, it would have been nice to have been provided enough flatware and napkins without having to ask. We sat at a wobbly outdoor table and tried the following: - Basic Breakfast. Egg soufflé, bacon, toast, fruit jam. The egg soufflé was... weird. It lacked seasoning, the texture was firmer than expected, and didn't really have an eggy taste. Everything else was great: cripsy bacon, toast, and fruit jam. - Pork and Eggs Toast. Egg soufflé, levain bread, smoked tomato butter, pork shoulder, maple cream sauce, goat cheese, sweet drop peppers. This dish was ok with another weird egg soufflé, the pork was dry & tough, and there was a bit too much cream. I liked the bread and goat cheese though. - Bread Pudding. Croissant bread pudding, fresh berries, lemon curd, maple syrup. This was a delicious French toast dish with a great balance of tender bread, fresh berries, and tasty lemon curd. - Kouign Amann. It was flakey, sugary, tender, and awesome. - A Latte, an Americano, and a drip-coffee. The coffee drinks were fair to good. Overall, it was a bit of a hit or miss situation for us as we liked about half of what we tried.

Two stars for good food and drink. -3 stars for charging for mustard on an $18 sandwich. Incredible. Family and I have been coming here for years but no more. Already overpriced and charging for mustard.....

Great vibe, fantastic food and very clean restrooms. Service was excellent. Off the beaten path a little. Complimentary internet services. Had the basic breakfast and 2 different pasties. All top notch.

Offering a wide selection of bread and baked goods that are absolutely scrumptious. Their food is mostly a heal array of sandwiches and salads. A favorite of mine is the Caprese salad with salmon. Service is friendly and warm. The ambiance is quasi brutalist architecture with lots of glass. Really different and fun.
