I just popped in for a late lunch after a long bike ride. My picnic salad (chickpeas, avo, beetroot, feta, nuts, leaves) was tasty and served super fast. My chai latte was made from proper tea rather than syrup so was tasty and not overly sweet. Staff are friendly.

Better than expected. I saw reviews and arrived to a very small, hot coffee shop thinking to myself, "How good could the food possibly be?" I was surprised by the quality of my turkey meatball and pesto sandwich on very soft, fresh bread and my salad of the day. The staff were very friendly and funny. It was mid-afternoon and service was very quick as the store had few customers. Overall really nice combinations of ingredients, and good quality for the price.

Very tasty sandwich in a straight forward setting. Friendly staff, fairly priced, nice flavoring in the sauce and the sandwich was a good size. No sides, which I liked, hate being super full from lunch because they stuff the plate with fries or whatever else. None of that bloat here!

Everything about this place is great! Super friendly and efficient staff. Brilliantly-conceived and ever-changing sandwich, salad and soup selections. Perfect portions and really, really good prices. Try a 1/2 salad/sandwich combo take-out and go sit on the lawn overlooking the Inner Harbour. This place is a local gem!

Good food, but very slow service (over 20 minute wait for takeaway sandwich). Ordered the turkey melt -- nice roasted turkey, fresh avocado, good bacon, bit skimpy on the cheese. The cranberry fennel chutney was underwhelming, and not really a chutney. A bit pricey (9.5) for a small sandwich on white bread (or really, really weak sourdough) w/ no sides. No wow factor for me, but overall good quality ingredients.

Coffee was good but service was a bit of a shock. I ordered and was charged for two 16oz drip coffees but was given probably about 12oz in one and 13oz in the other. I asked for them to be topped up, however this was apparently the last of the drip coffee they had and they didn't want to brew more because they were closing in an HOUR. If I hadn't said anything they were perfectly fine with me taking these for full price. I'm giving two stars because they did afterward dump them into one and make an Americano for me for the second cup. Pretty disappointing for a downtown Victoria coffee shop.

Got a chicken sandwich on sourdough and a side Picnic salad. Both had avocados that were almost black. It was very disgusting and disheartening considering this used to be a local gem that took pride in their food and having good quality ingredients. I will never be going back again. Why pay $10 for a sandwich with avocados that went bad 3 days ago. I don't know what happened to them or what was once very high standards for freshness.
