Picteau Bistrot & Cocktail Bar

I had a wonderful experience at Picteau Lounge at the Lungarno Hotel in Florence. The view was stunning, adding a charming backdrop to the evening. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The food was delicious, particularly the pizza and spaghetti pasta. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

Went here for a drink with my family. The view is magnificent [under shades😅😁]. The staffs were friendly and we felt very welcome.

Amazing view, pointless food. If you just want to enjoy the view on the Ponte Vecchio, it's great. But if you like to eat or drink, avoid it. The grapefruit cocktail tasted like an odd chemical mix with vague traces of fruit, the tartare had simply no flavour and the fries were hard and cold (obviously had seen better days, probably a few before being served). The bread was dry. The staff was not particularly friendly but they were fine.

We had a lovely evening on the terrace with cocktails and snacks. Great atmosphere, very kind staff. We will come back next time we are in Florence. 😎

We had a delightful lunch on the river with champagne and a rum cocktail. We enjoyed a salad and pizza, both of which were delicious. The views are enchanting, the staff is friendly and attentive. It's a real find!

Google has the wrong location for this place! It's actually part of Hotel Lungarno just a few steps down the road away from the bridge. Very great place to relax after a day of walking around after museums. Friendly, english speaking staff. Food hit the spot and the wine was good.

Cocktails were very poor quality especially considering this bar is part of Hotel Lungarno and they were €20! My "cocktail" tasted like a gin and tonic and didn't even look the part. Staff were also inattentive, the waiter didn't even look at us when he put the bill on the table. Recommend just looking at the view and going for a decent cocktail elsewhere.

Definitely a must visit if you like cocktails. A lot of classic cocktails but also some with a twist. Amazing views overlooking the canal with great ambience, the service was also fantastic. Thanks!

BLUF: a truly 5-star dining experience in a beautiful setting We went to Picteau restaurant for our final dinner in Italy, and are glad we did. it is located in the Lungarno hotel. If you are going to dine there, be sure to make a reservation and if the weather is nice request a patio table. The patio is small, but it's a great experience to be out there overlooking the river while you eat. Service is both friendly and top-notch. Waiter seemed to know the right time to come to the table w/o being obtrusive, and kept the meal flowing all along. The food was exquisite. One thing to know is that the starters are big enough for two. We didn't know that so we got two. The first was a caprese salad, which came with a chunk of buffalo mozzarella the size of a softball, creamy and delicious. It also had orange and red cherry tomatoes, which were sweet as they were but came in a delicious italian herb dressing. The other starter was beef carpaccio, which came on a bed of arugula and covered with parmesan slices. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the best carpaccio I've ever had. For the main entree we both got the same thing, burrata ravioli in zuchini and saffron cream. OMG, it was great. If it wasn't such a fine restaurant I would've licked my plate clean. For dessert we shared something called a Bongo, which was custard filled bigne with cocoa and espresso sprinkled on it, along with some ice cream. Really delicious This place is not cheap, but if you are on a budget and planning one "big dinner" night, do it here.

Absolutely loved stumbling upon this bar while my husband and I explored Firenze! We made some wonderful friends from Whales and drank and laughed through the evening. Beautiful views of the river and bridges in the near distance. Small but highly recommend trying to get a spot!

Great location and food was amazing. It's not cheap but the views are wonderful and service was good.
