We have been loyal customers of this ice cream shop since it first opened, but unfortunately, the quality of service has been declining over the years. It feels like the staff is doing us a favor while we are paying a significant amount of money.
During our recent visit, we encountered a particularly unpleasant incident. We ordered two different flavors, one in a cup and one in a cone. The staff member misunderstood our order and gave us both flavors in a cup. When we clarified that we only wanted one flavor, the staff member had a rude reaction and served the other flavor in a cup instead of a cone. To make matters worse, the flavor served was incorrect, and we didn’t even bother to address the issue, because it was enough that she rolled her eyes and gave us such a look, if it would be me serving her and not inverse
It’s a shame that the quality of service has deteriorated to the point where we feel like we are serving ourselves. However, we did appreciate the friendliness of the gentleman who was working behind the counter and engaging in conversation with customers.
We believe that the owner should take a closer look at the staff and address these issues. It’s disheartening to pay for a service and be met with bitter faces and the feeling that we are an inconvenience. We also find the ice creams to be overly sweet lately. So 3.5/5 would be the appropriate Rating.
Don’t bother to queue sometimes for up to 30 min to then get such a service.
