Highly recommend this restaurant — a full 10 out of 10. The staff were very friendly and had warm, welcoming smiles. The restaurant was generous with its service: they first brought us a large bottle of iced water, and even gave us complimentary Italian herb bread. We each ordered the slow-cooked pork belly, and the restaurant also gave us two portions of vegetable side dishes.

We are visiting for the bank holiday locally in Bonsall and wanted to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We were moved by wanting to support the couple that run this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The team warmly welcomed us and we were delighted to sample their warm fresh baked focaccia bread on arrival. A truly special touch. I ordered the sea bream, and my partner ordered the duck with orange sauce. For dessert we enjoyed the Creme Brûlée and passionfruit dessert and the chocolate butter pudding. The food was exceptional. The care and detail put into the experience and food and presentation was thoughtful and carefully curated. The depth of flavour of the sauces was a real treat. We can’t wait to suggest this to family that visit this area frequently and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Really good experience after booking for Friday night meal for two. We found this restaurant through various review sites. Friendly welcome, efficient service, nice range on the (French inspired?) Menu. Wine by carafe offered too which hits the spot between two glasses and a bottle. Calming classy decor. Really lovely cooking. Had three delightful courses. We pushed the boat out so cost about £65 per head with pre drink and tip. We thought good value and would happily return/recommend.

We are not from the area but my partner took me here to celebrate my birthday. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with amazing smiles and good energy from the staff. The place was absolutely beautiful!! The service was amazing and the attention to detail was immaculate, the staff were just amazing. The food!! Omg the food, from starters all the way to the desserts was just unbelievable. The quality of food was so good, I couldn’t believe it. My partner and I were very very impressed. We had an amazing night and will be definitely returning here in the future. It an experience anyone should experience to truly understand the high level of service and food they provide. They also had an amazing selection of wine, we were spoilt for choice. I 100% recommend this place.

Fabulous place to dine. Very friendly and attentive staff. All of the dishes we had were cooked to perfection with stunning presentation. Also well priced for the quality. Will definitely be visiting Piedaniel's again in the future.

We were served by a young lady and the owner Christiana,the service was excellent,we chatted to Christiana as we have been before. The food was unbelievable,the service was excellent. We are definitely going to visit Pie Daniels again

Good food, came for a birthday treat. Quite formal, my only quibble is the seating for 2 were very close, so felt like you were looking closely at someone's dinner. All friendly though, so not too awkward.

We did a walk-in yesterday which they were able to accommodate after an hour. Dinner was excellent. They gave us a tasty focaccia bread while we waited for the boullabaise and pork. The soup was excellent and light with big chunks of fish. We split up a crepe Suzette for dessert which was lit at the table, it was delicious, the flavour of orange was crisp yet balanced. Had a great dinner here. Would definitely recommend if you're in Bakewell.
