Office fuel done right! ☕️🥪 We treated the team and some friends to an epic catering spread. Everything from the sandwiches and scones to the desserts was a massive hit. The real MVP? The coffee tower! It kept the brews steaming hot outside even during a cold afternoon. 10/10 would recommend for your next gathering!

I noticed a bright yellow sign on Isabella St. in downtown Toronto from a distance, and it looked so inviting that I had to check it out. As soon as I walked in, the friendly owner greeted me with a warm hello! The place has a simple, cozy vibe with nice little details, and I loved their small goods section. There’s also a clean self-serve water and napkin station in the corner, which is super convenient. I tried the pesto breakfast sandwich with a latte, and my daughter had her favorite hot chocolate. The latte was smooth and delicious, and they even warmed up my sandwich — it was perfect! I would definitely come back.

The selection of food and drinks is fabulous. The Pumpkin Spice Latte hits the spot to perfection. The owner is super warm and friendly. They even have sweet little crafts homemade by family, some of which o bought for a really modest price! I ended up here by chance but would honestly go out of my way to come back. It made my day to stop in!

Amazing coffee spot, perfect for hanging out/working! Andrew is a great host and owner and takes care of me everytime I visit. Would really recommend the flat white and chestnut latte, as well as any of their scones! Chatted with the owner about the cafe and coffee preferences the first time I visited and he was so kind and gifted me an earl grey madeleine! Please support Andrew and show the cafe your love!

Found this place just walking by today. The place has a great, relaxed vibe and is incredibly clean. The coffee seriously impressed me, and don't skip the sandwiches—they grill them, which makes all the difference. It's the perfect spot to grab something quick or to just settle in and relax. Already planning my next visit.

Nice seatings and perfect for studying. Clean bathroom. I feel like the matcha taste could be a lot stronger. I couldn’t really taste the matcha flavour unfortunately though it had a nice colour.

Stumbled upon this cafe last week when it was previously called Piedmont Coffee Bar. It is now called Say Coffee! I was honoured to meet and chat with the owner when I got there, so it felt quite special to be there that day. While my photos were taken in July 2025, it's very possible the decor and interior has changed since they were in the process of changing things up. I will definitely go back soon to take updates pics. As for my order, I got their ham and cheese sandwich, iced strawberry matcha latte, and a cheddar and chives scone. Overall, it was a pleasant meal. If you're looking for a space to work or hang out with a friend, definitely check out this cafe! It's nestled in a neighborhood at the intersection of Church St. and Isabella St. (a short 5-min walk from Wellesley Station. Can't wait to go back! On another note, I absolutely loved the music/playlist bring played. It was a mix of 2000s/2010s and current music. I didn't even use my headphones to listen to my own music, and that's saying a lot! Haha.

Such cool menu options. Today I tried the blueberry latte but I'll be back to try the strawberry matcha latte and lychee rose latte for sure! The seating is quite comfortable and they have outlet options here. It's clean and comfortable and honestly quite a good coffee shop to hang out or do some work. Iced Blueberry Latte - $7.18 The blueberry was noticeable in this drink and their coffee is decent. Even though there's blueberry in this drink, it's still not sweet at all! Note: their hours are limited and they close pretty early every day. 8:30 AM to 5 PM are their usual open hours.

Piedmont Coffee Bar is a local small independent coffee shop located at the corner of Church and Isabella. Serving up caffeinated and non-caffeinated options, the cafe is quaint and quiet where it is a great space to get some work done, spending some time alone, or meet up with friends for a catchup. I stopped by Piedmont Coffee Bar on a Tues morning around 8:30am. The cafe was quiet had ample seats for me to choose from. I ordered a cortado with soy milk which was made at a reasonable time. I enjoyed my coffee at the cafe where during my time there, several customers also came in. My coffee was made well and service was friendly. Overall, a quiet local coffee shop to check out if you're around the area!

Calm atmosphere with respectful employees. Drinks are slightly more affordable than the average coffee shop; Also slightly more on the bitter side when it comes to their coffee. Accessible entrance and milk alternatives for all coffee lovers. Thumbs up.

They have one of the nicest lattes in the city. I love the beans they use AND they also offer Japanese milk bread! It's in a variety of flavours. I'm planning to go get some for fancy French toast or a delightful sandwich at some point

Any and all staff interactions have been very good. They make a really good flat white, espresso.... Nice clean interior.

My flat white was well pulled with perfectly frothed milk. Great place to just enjoy some quiet time. Work on your laptop (tons of outlets) or just do nothing.

I had this place bookmarked for a while so was looking forward to this visit. The cafe is located in a condo building so the map location is a bit off (hopefully corrected soon). The setup is minimal and has open feel. I would have appreciated better seating though as the chairs were quite uncomfortable. Now on to the main event the Cappuccino here is the verdict Here is the verdict for the cappuccino Espresso: Medium Crema': Good Milk: Frothed well Latte Art: Good. A decent cappuccino though I prefer a bold taste. 3.5 stars I will be back if I am in the area. I also tried a palmier to go with the coffee. Packaged nicely with an OK taste.

Store design is very comfortable and the vibe is very chill. Pastry selection is very limited, but the drink menu is rather extensive. The espresso was on the acidic side but not overpowering, with pleasant aftertastes. I also sampled the cold brew which was balanced and enjoyable, but nothing too special. Overall a decent coffee shop with solid drinks.

For me, this place has the ideal coffee shop atmosphere. Really chill and quiet, with just enough seating but small enough to avoid crowding and give that homey feel. Not too warm or cold, nicely decorated but not ostentatiously so, music is never extremely loud and there is of course free wifi. Service is friendly (seems like it's run by a lovely couple) and I love how they take care to prepare everything delicately, from pouring the espresso to plating a cookie. Drinks and food are on the expensive side, though quite reasonable given the area. Also, the coffee was actually very good! Desserts were pretty standard, as the menu is pretty limited. Would highly recommend this place as somewhere you can hang out or get work done for a few hours! :) It will definitely be my top choice in the area.

It's my 2nd time here the 1st time service was not right I thought that they were busy And now I came for the 2nd time and orders cortado and I specifically told the guy I need it for here not to go and I don't know why he gave me with a to go cup and I ask him why he says it's ok but it's not he might not like to serve a black guy He finally so me not drinking his coffee and he brings me another coffee with a cup I already lost my interest This is my experience so bad

Coffee was decent, London Fog was delicious. It's a lovely quiet place for a couple hours writing or people watching. Take advantage of it before it becomes popular, because I have no doubt it will.

Best London Fog Latte I've ever had!! The barista really took his time to make sure the tea was brewed correctly (he measured the temperature and set up a timer for the tea), the milk was frothed just right and the sweetness level was perfect. It was definitely worth the wait and such a pleasure seeing someone that has a real passion making a drink. My partner had the flat white and it was also made to perfection. I am looking forward to go back again when I am in the area!

VEGAN OPTIONS - Yes. My husband and I stopped in for a sit down espresso fix about 30 minutes before their closing time. We got a cappuccino and a mocha, both with almond milk. Not the best versions of either, however both were made well and tasted pretty good overall. The interior is nice, with enough space between the tables to not feel like you're intruding on your neighbour's space and vice versa. Very high ceilings and open/airy vibe. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to, but it will definitely be my go to spot in the village.

Clean comfortable refuge on quiet street off Yonge and Church. Nice open bright ambiance. . 16 oz caffe latte with 2 shots seems vastly underpowered in coffee flavor but would try smaller size. Serving temperature was very Italian which means lukewarm steamed milk. I'd order it hot if possible as I'm Canadian and it's cold today. Decent looking snack sandwiches in display. Might not be a meal for $10.90 +tax. Pastries also look OK but did not venture. I'm guessing food is brought in. May return soon to decode the specific coffee language of Piedmont. Prices are moderate to expensive. Rents is rents... Nice visit, good.

This was a super cute cafe in the Toronto area ! I got the matcha latte with oat milk and thought it was made pretty well but there were some clumps of matcha at the bottom. It was nice that they had oat milk and even cinnamon shakers so I could add that on top. Definitely a good place to get tea or coffee but I wish they had food that wasn't already packaged.

Now open again with good full-day hours! A go-to spot for me for a weekly treat - their flat white is fragrant, smooth, and made with lots of care! Not an elaborate menu, just your standard Euro-style coffee offerings - no brewed coffee here! They've got teas and a few seasonal latte flavours, and in the past had a wide selection of snacks and treats from other local artisans - currently not in stock but I'm hoping will return in the future! As I've been brewing more coffee at home, I've also invested in a few of their blends - the flavour notes are accurate and actually distinguishable! I enjoy the small-scale offering prepared with care that allows me to support the local business, at the same time without having to fork out more than I can afford. The coffee shop is a quiet, out-of-the-way place with a simple few tables out on their patio. Relaxing music in the background, it's a quiet place to work while enjoying the sunshine or greenery. Isabella Street is off Yonge Street, so it's a convenient location but tucked away from the city noise. You'll still see cars and lots of foot traffic, so the people-watching can definitely continue! The slower pace of the shop is great for those looking to get some work done or have a quiet conversation without having to tell over the background music, or city noise, or the coffee equipment going non-stop in the store...which is a common problem for a number of nearby alternatives. Place is kept nice and clean, décor is simple and bright, overall non-invasive and relaxing. I didn't think much of it at first, but I keep coming back!

ATMOSPHERE: Tucked away on the corner of Church and Isabella, this place is truly a hidden gem. It's not usually too busy and has a bright and airy interior with large windows and high ceilings, with an added bonus of disability-friendly washrooms. DRINK: You can tell the barista is passionate about his work. I've had their Iced Mocha and London Fog. Firstly, I'd just like to commend the effort he puts into making his drinks. He actually took the time to massage the earl grey teabag for a good minute until all the leaves were tired. I have never seen that. Generally you have the teabag floating about with lacking earl grey flavour but not this London Fog. I must say it was a little on the sweeter side. However, I'd ask him to adjust the syrup content next time. As for the Iced Mocha, I thought it was very refreshing. Overall: Beautiful space + Passionate baristas + Great drinks = Regular visits #supportlocal

A new year... new coffee places to try out. Piedmont has been on my radar with it's vivid latte art with seems to be red drinks (beet? red velvet?) and their green tea. With the insane long wait at nearby Lola's Kitchen, Piedmont was a nice soothing atmosphere to kick start a nice Sunday. The moment you step in, the wafting smells of a baked cinnamon buns just infuse your nose. The place is run by a seemingly nice family with the head at the cashier taking orders and the younger one being the barista. The aesthetic reminds me of the many new loft minimalist chill vibes that a lot of the newer places are showing. I like it... exposed cement walls are artistically warmed up with many pretty flower pictures. The large slabs of wood on the tables keeps this from feeling sterile and snobby 3rd wave coffee trend. There's enough tables for people to sit and talk or work. I wouldn't say you can do a full team meeting here but it has more seats than your average place. It's nice and clean... I like it. Dirty Chai Latte - Light on flavour but that's because they're using the real deal tea leaves to create the chai instead of a syrup or premix. I would say for them to up the amount of chai leaves to give it a real flavour and not just a diluted chai. 3/5 Flat White - A nice drink with a more robust coffee taste that balanced nicely with the almond milk. It's not as strong as I like it compared to other places in Toronto but for those are just dipping their toe into drinks beyond a double double. This would be a nice introduction 4/5 Overall, great little bright place that delivers on solid drinks. Definitely would return if I have to wait around in the area again. Next time I'll try their matcha latte.

This place is great for studying! Its super cozy and not too loud (at least the times I've been). I love all the drinks I've tried out and it's just such a vibe always.

The coffee is decent but maybe just a tiny bit more expensive than other cafes near by, on average. However there is free WiFi and it seems to have enough seating which is great!

This coffee shop was located near LGBT community, so I thought the shop would be for only LGBT, but there were many kinds of different people. I saw more family with babies. The barista was nice and friendly. Coffee was good even thought the smallest size was $2.25. They had nice decoration and the shop was very clean. I really liked this place.

Piedmont is not on Yonge Street, but that is a positive for me. It is in a tree-lined stretch of Isabella which is more pleasant than the barren Yonge Street. The cafe was quiet clean and a Doraemon figure is standing guard at the cash. The east Asian gentleman at the cash was friendly and had a big smile on his face. I liked his friendliness. As far as ISP employees go he was kind. Speaking of which, do not download from Torrents while there. They do not like that! Seriously, they had a sign stating so (do people really go to cafes and download movies or whatever?) Despite the positives I have to give the coffee shop 3 stars. The offering is limited. What they had was expensive and, the biggest sin, my smoothie had no taste. I kept looking at it as if I am going to discover I had been given water with a drop of something.. soy milk?... instead of a smoothie. However, I am fine with it if that meant that I received a healthier smoothie instead of something laden with sugar, but if this was no healthier than the average smoothie and was just cheap on fruit then I do not want to pay $5 for a cup of water. Finally, there is no table service. Why ask for a tip? Are your prices not your prices?

I found that it was a bit more on the pricier side - might be because of the student budget I'm recently back on. But the chai latte was pleasant. Very nice barista. It's a nice little spot with lots of wall plugs. However, the wifi seems to be spotty and restricts a couple of websites.

As soon as you walk in, you truly realize how cute this place is! It's perfect for a relaxed coffee or to do some work in a quiet space. They have put a lot of effort into making it a trendy modern-hipster vibe, which includes beautiful cups, often with steamed milk art. The chai latte is made with real chai leaves (which i greatly appreciate!) but personally, the flavour isn't bold enough for me and is very unsweetened. Because of this, I turn to their london fog that has a bold, slightly sweet flavour. It is the best london fog i've ever had and I would recommend this to any of their future customers. Try the london fog!

I was searching for a nice spot to study and this coffee shop definitely worked out! Great place to meet friends or study! I think it's run by a married couple where the husband works as the barista with another employee and the wife bakes the pastries. The pastries look decent - muffins, croissants, etc. No gluten-free options though. And they have yogurt with fruits too. I will come back here to study again because they have free 5G internet connection! Ample seating, comfortable seats. The music in the background is at a perfect volume to allow people to focus while giving the atmosphere a relaxed vibe. I tried their green tea, I think it was around $3.50 which is on the pricey side as it's just one tea bag. But that's ok, I support their business. Another thing I liked is how they a wheelchair-accessible washroom. The service was good too.

Work/study friendly small neighbourhood cafe with ample seating space, large and small tables. They serve good milk based drinks with smooth and sweet microfoam and adorable latte art design. The music and the crowd is at most ambient noise level.

Triple chocolate croissant was delightful, cappuccino was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming!

The Perfect Corner Cafe In Milano! When you first walk in you immediately get hit with the beautiful Aromas of Espresso and Cappuccino. Right before you know it you see a beautiful array of Fresh Baked pastries lined up perfectly. The energy and Vibe the Cafe puts out is like no other. So warm and cozy but yet so energetic. I ordered an Espresso and a couple of small Pastries. All I can say is "Fantastico!". Will definitely come back in the future!

My favourite spot in the area! Beautiful cafe, with beautiful drinks (my go-to is the chai latte!) They put a ton of care and pay attention to detail with everything they sell, and their work pays off. It's also a great place to sit down for a couple hours to get some work done, as they have a some long high-top tables, and being off of the main strip minimizes distractions.

Best London fog ever! Only $4 for a medium! Love the decor and the customer service! Will def come back!

One of my favourite coffee shops. What makes this place such a gem is their minimalist decor, natural light, and comfy chairs (which is quite important if you're there to study!). The drinks are pretty good - my personal favourites are their london fog and matcha latte. Very recommended!

It's a nice little, hidden coffee shop in the new rental building built on Isabella and Church. I am always in support of non-chain coffee shops opening up,and I am more than happy to pay the extra couple of bucks for that pleasure. The decor is great - relatively minimalist, almost looks like a loft. Well, a "public" loft. Coffee is excellent, their treats are tasty and the service is good. Only concern was the lack of seating space. The overall coffee shop isn't huge, but it could definitely accommodate more space for people to sit and chill. Then again, their goal may be to cater to the grab-and-go crowd, but there needs to be a balance there. I guess with the sleek, minimalist look they are going for, it looks perfectly balanced as is. They do have a decently sized communal table, which helps. A welcome addition to the city's growing coffee shop community! I will be returning soon.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this café. It's very relaxing and the interior design is modern. It's very clean. The staff is friendly, and the quality of the drinks is excellent. Price is reasonable, like most cafés. Could have a couple more food options. I recommend trying this place out!

Piedmont -- the charming little cafe tucked away just off of Church Street. Their espresso was the mindblowing dash of energy that I needed this morning. It was perfectly smooth while simultaneously packing a huge punch of power that set in almost immediately. The tiny cup of heaven was a delicious burst of flavour! They were also my introduction to an oat-milk charcoal latte. After reading online about the latte's anti-inflammatory benefits, I decided to give it a try because I was feeling a little puffy. Aside from the health benefits, the latte was creamy, delicious and filled with the perfect coffee flavour. The staff was super chill and friendly! The barista accidentally made my oat latte with regular milk and as soon as I pointed it out, he went back and remade it. The cafe was impressively clean and organized! As well, they have a couple of high tables paired with plugs, that are great for laptop work. I would definitely recommend this spot for a coffee meeting, stop along a stroll or even an efficient day of work/studying! Where they lost a star for me was in terms of their food offerings -- if you are vegan, they don't have any goodies to go with your drink, but they do have you covered with all the yummy milk-alternatives.

I walked in and ordered a London fog with lactose free milk. This is the best London Fog I've had in ages! Simply fantastic. And I am a self proclaimed beverage snob. The barista is lovely also! I will absolutely go back now that I found this gem.

Clean light airy space. Great coffee. Friendly staff they've been open for five months; I just discovered it this afternoon when I chose a place to meet a friend from out of town. Certainly will come back when I'm in or around the village

This is officially my new favourite neighbourhood coffee place! Love the slick interior design, friendly staff and delicious drinks. As soon as you enter, you get this "ahhhh" vibe and feel like you could spend the rest of your sunny afternoons here.
