The Piedra River Trail is one of the best trails I have ever hiked. It is rated as easy, and that is accurate in my opinion. There are many gravel bars to rock hunt. My husband and I pulled numerous agates out of the river. The meadows were lush and verdant. The mountains were high and majestic. This trail did not disappoint.
