As someone born and raised in Bristol, I have always felt a sense of pride when I see local businesses grow and thrive, and Pieminister is a perfect example of that. Knowing it started right here in my hometown makes supporting it feel even more worthwhile. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was warm and welcoming. The service was genuinely outstanding. In particular, the lady with glasses and several badges on her uniform really made our visit special. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space, checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. It is rare to find such thoughtful service these days, and she deserves to be recognised for it. The food was just as impressive. I opted for the cheese pie, served with creamy mashed potato and a generous helping of vegetarian gravy. Every element of the dish was delicious. The pie had a crisp golden pastry with a rich cheesy filling that was full of flavour without being overpowering. The mash was smooth and comforting, and the vegetarian gravy tied it all together beautifully. It is clear that a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The restaurant itself was beautifully designed and well laid out. I particularly appreciated the warm ambient lighting, which created a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It felt inviting without being too casual, perfect for a comfortable meal out. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the portion size. While the quality of the food was excellent, the quantity did not quite match the price point. For the cost, I was hoping for something a little more substantial. That said, the flavours and overall experience still made it worthwhile. All in all, it was a lovely visit with great food, exceptional service, and a setting that strikes just the right tone. I will definitely be returning, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting meal with a touch of Bristol charm.

Jessica our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. First time at this Pieminister, been to Leeds and Sheffield ones, this one is just as good as the others, it was nice to see they had conditioning as it was 27°C. Pies were amazing as they always are. Highly recommended if your a pie lover

We enjoyed our pies so much- filling but not heavy. Delicious mash and gravy, too. We thought we'd get a cookbook for my son's birthday, as he raves about Pieminister. Our lovely server, Faye, gifted us with one which was really sweet. Excellent service and food!

Table of 6 in a booth. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick service even with how busy a Saturday night it was. Got starters and all were delicious. Shared them. Pies were really tasty and enough dessert choice not too many.

We had the vegan pie and mash, which tasted delicious. The lady serving us was very sweet and funny and even the other people visiting were all chatty and lovely. Good atmosphere and dog friendly! The only disappointment we had was that even though it is veganuary, there was only one vegan option available, they missed the trick there.

I had the Moo & Blue pie and it was absolutely divine. The pastry was perfectly baked golden, crisp, and full of flavour. The filling was rich and tender, with incredibly tasty beef in a delicious gravy that brought everything together beautifully. Every bite felt like comfort food at its finest! Also, a huge thank you to Jessica, who looked after us with such warmth and kindness. She was incredibly polite, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service I couldn’t recommend it more. I’ll definitely be back!

Never been to a Pieminister before so was excited for this! 🌟 Went for the Moolin Rouge pie with Cheesy mash & Smokey baked beans. 🥧 Didn’t think much of the sides, and thought the pie was decent but nothing special. Partner went for the Harissa Chicken pie and said it was great! Staff member was super friendly and accommodating!
