Super fresh pasta and an amazing homemade bolognese. I’ll definitely become a regular from now on.

Google
Good prices. Fresh pasta. You can see them make it fresh from the storefront. Good variety. Very helpful staff. They even gave us samples. Pleasantly surprised and definitely coming back.

Google
Recommend this place on a visit. Fresh pasta of many types available. Very good maranara suace. Friendly staff. I wish i had a kitchen when we stayed to make some of the pasta....

Google
Stumbled upon this place while having a stroll in that area ( just opposite Ferrara bakery) , I picked up a fusilli pasta packet to try - was tempted to buy so many things ! It was nice homemade fresh pasta and cooked in between 12 to 15 min! Someone who lives in NY definitely a great place to shop fresh homemade pasta from over store mass produced!

Google
Fresh pasta and of course the best homemade Ravioli's. Every year we purchase 6 cheese ravioli boxes, with 6 large marinara sauce containers and 1/2 pound of the parmesan cheese from Italy for our annual Christmas Eve party. Very easy to prepare. Each ravioli box feeds 5 people and one large container of marinara is good enough per box. A hidden gem in Little Italy!

Google
A great historical place in little Italy with all the fresh hand made pasta !

Here i'm uploading a foto of family in 1975. Piemonte Ravioli was there. :)

Google
This place is much bigger than its storefront because they supply pasta to most of the restaurants in Little Italy. They have an amazing selection of fresh pasta available or you can get it frozen as well. Their marinara sauce is no joke. They close relatively early so check store hours.

Yelp
Old school Little Italy and hopefully it never changes even as the neighborhood definitely has. Homemade pasta of all kinds and the cashier was very helpful. They even had two different types of squid ink pasta (fettuccine and linguine)- we can't wait to cook with both of them! Plus things I honestly doubt you've seen before- chocolate-pumpkin pasta? Yum. Would consider coming back to buy one or more of the fresh homemade ravioli packages.

Yelp
What used to be my regular go to every three months is not my never go to place. What happened to the quality of your pasta? I purchased three packages of the Fettuccini, 2 regular, 2 Spinach. Product seems to be expired, the taste was bitter, to hard to east, tasted almost like plastic.

Yelp
Piemonte Home Made Ravioli is a historic Little Italy business. Piemonte Ravioli was established in 1920. They have fresh pasta in the retail store in Little Italy. The pasta is made daily. They offer a variety of fillings, including cheese, spinach, and seafood. They deliver too! They have a huge business and supply to hotels, restaurants and airlines. Piemonte Ravioli Little Italy is open to the public. If you're in the neighborhood stop in and bring some home. It makes a great gift for my family and friends.

Yelp
Greatest raviolis, you will ever eat. They are completely homemade. Their sauce is amazing and all of their pastas. The person that left one star has no idea what he is talking about or what to order there. The manicotti, the raviolis are absolutely five stars.

Yelp
Fantastic home made ravioli and the marinara sauce was to die for It's been part of a food tour I've been going on. And I feel lucky to have sampled their gnocchi

Yelp
Piedmonte is part of the Italian trifecta on the block on Grand Street. They have specialty items, like marinara sauce and vodka sauce and all types of pastas, like gaganelle to fusilli to gimellini to orecchiette to whole wheat pasta to linguine to fettuccine to radiators to elbows to shells to tubetti to lasagna to mafaldine to zitone to pappardelle! Oh yeah, and then there's ravioli! They have a wide variety, like whole-wheat to stuffed with random ingredients to veggie. The prices are, well, what you'd expect for a specialty store in the area, but it's a cute shop that makes their pasta in-house, so it's worth a go. The lady working the counter is quiet and friendly. The store is tiny, but they've fit in a large inventory inside. Check it out for some exploring!

Yelp
This store is a delicious reminder of what Little Italy used to be. I've been coming here for nearly fifty years and it's still an unmissable stop when I'm in the city. Please don't ever leave!

Yelp
Tiny shop in Little Italy that makes fresh ravioli & pasta in inventive flavors. The staff seems to not know much about the business and unenthused to help customers or whether they ship. I'll be back for the pasta & hope that the management encourages the staff to be more informed about products & shipping.

Yelp
this is the best place to buy the makings for your dinner tonight.

Yelp
Just made a delicious pasta dinner with ingredients from Piemonte and I am just WOWED. I bought the fresh bolognese sauce and tomato basil fettuccine, added caramelized onions, eggplant, some additional herbs (parsley, red chili flakes, etc), and a touch of heavy cream and it was nothing short of magical. Seriously so impressed, going to make an effort to stock up my fridge with more of this stuff!
google avatar

Yelp
Don't tell my pops but this is the best sauce I have had in my life! The San Marzano tomatoes from the volcanic region of Italy really give this sauce a special sweetness with out added sugars!
google avatar

Brooke K.

Yelp
Best sauce hands down. I buy marinara sauce from here every week. It's honestly so delicious I could just eat it by itself. The pastas and raviolis are good as well. All homemade.

Yelp
When in New York, one of my favorite places to visit is always Little Italy. I wanted to bring home some fresh pasta and asked around for the best place in town; everyone recommended Piemonte. This shop is very small but they have a decent selection of pastas to choose from. Everything looked absolutely delish! They also carry homemade sauces, so I had to bring home my favorite vodka sauce. We also tried the famous marinara. Everything came out perfect! The prices here are fair for homemade goods. I paid $33 for two bags of pasta and two sauces. If you don't use the pasta or sauce within 2 days or so, you can actually freeze them! Next time I visit I'll be sure to bring home some extra. Also, the woman at the front desk was very welcoming and made some great recommendations with pairing the items for best flavors.

Yelp
This place has been here for a very long time. Probably my earliest memory of eating their raviolis was during my middle school days. Out of all the filling choices I like the meat ravioli the most. My go-to choice is the 50 count box. Over the years I did see the change in price as well as ingredients/quality. The size of the ravioli and peppercorns used to be larger, the raviolis also used the break apart more cleanly. Although the quality was better in the past, there's still no other place I would opt to pick up ravioli. Overall they're still pretty good. On a lazy day it makes a great meal, all you need is a good sauce to pair it up with.

Yelp
Make it a point to stop at Piemonte every year when visiting NY to stock up. Best Ravioli. Yum definitely worth every bite and the large cooler on plane

Yelp
This is my notsosecret secret place to go to when I want amazing fresh pasta at home. It's one of those special discoveries you know of and don't want to share witch anyone else. By far the BEST fresh pasta in life. It is inhaled. Buy a box or two and you won't be sorry. The spinach cheese ravioliwith their original marinara is so good it's so hard to even bother trying anything else. But I've heard the other stuff is also amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Homemade pastas? Count me in! Cute shop in Little Italy. This is a grab and go type place. Lots of homemade pastas available. They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and flavors. If you check out their website, you will find all the pasta options offered. Certain pastas are also filled with a bunch of different ingredients. Some examples are: Cheese, Meat, Pesto, Broccoli, Lobster, Mushroom, Goat cheese, Sundry Tomato, Gorgonzola, and Artichoke. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. They are generous with the portions. Employees are sweet and quick.

Yelp
I've been coming here for fresh pasta for so long. The ladies in the shop are so helpful and kind. I love their homemade Bolognese and pesto. They have ravioli, tortellini, lasagna all if it freshly made. It's just lovely to be able to stop by and buy fresh pasta and cook it for dinner.

Yelp
This place literally haunts my husband and I are in our dreams... but only in the VERY. BEST. WAY. We live in the Baltimore area and have our own special place for our personal little Italy. However... every time we take a bite of our marinara sauce we almost weap for Piemonte's. The marinara sauce you can purchase from this small shop, is LITERALLY the most mouth-watering, delectable-goodness. If you scroll through the other reviews for this establishment, you will see the love for the pasta sauce. Every time we are in the New York area, we stop by and grab some marinara for the road. Now, if only I could find a way to freeze on prior to the journey home...tisk tisk...

Yelp
I bought lobster ravioli here. Our family was so excited to have dinner and enjoy ravioli from this authentic place. But when they were boiled it started to smell very weird. I tried one. It was disgusting mix of some other ground meat/fish/chicken/don't know what was inside. My husband and son refused to eat it. Very disappointed.

Sophia B.

Yelp
The one thing I hate is I'm not able to visit NY, this place has the best Pasta and Sauce ever it's absolutely delicious staff is nice and helpful and even wrapped my Ravioli and Sauce for shipping back to LA. I wish they shipped one day I'll return and this will be my first stop.

P. F.

Yelp
This is Pasta HEAVEN. I've been shopping here for 3 decades. Even though I moved 120 miles away, I still return for my specials - green lasagna, (no one else makes this!) tortelloni, pappardelle, manicotti and cannelloni. Nothing has changed ! The quality is unbeatable . Don't forget their fresh grated parmesan to go with the fabulous pasta.

Andrew C.

Yelp
Everything here is so fresh and delicious! We brought home some marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce. We have been here before and have tried numerous items. Everything is always delicious. I can't wait to make my stuffed shells tomorrow with their marinara sauce.

Yelp
So my doctor told me that I have a high triglyceride count. I, of course, slapped him across the face and yelled, "Speak English, man!" And he told me it means I should quit eating so much pasta. Now, this is a directive I have chosen to ignore. Not because I love pasta with every fiber of my being (although I do). Rather, I continue to eat delicious pasta for YOU. For the sake of research. I want you to know where the best of the best is, and believe me when I tell you that it doesn't get much better than Piemonte for pasta. You're welcome. I recently purchased both porcini mushroom tortellini and pumpkin ravioli, and I couldn't be happier with either. Well, I could've been happier if I didn't fuck up the sauce I made with some of the ravioli, but that's not Piemonte's fault. But it was STILL absolutely amazing, because this ravioli can shine through a mediocre sauce made by a halfwit. The only other ravioli that I've bought in this city that compares is at Savino's in Williamsburg. But don't make me choose. They can both be the best.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
I bought burrata and basil tomato black pepper fetuccini, wow amazing flavors to the pasta even in its raw state. This place has amazing varieties of pasta and cheeses. I also bought porcinni mushrooms ravioli and cafatelli pasta. Truly a home made variety of different pastas.

Yelp
So after I had an amazing meal at La Mela my mother and I decided to walk around Little Italy in search of fresh pasta and her favorite torrone. As we walked up Mulberry St we noticed a large sign that said Piemonte Home Made Ravioli so in we went and I am so happy we did. Upon arrival into the store you are greeted by a very friendly girl who is willing to help you with any and all questions. As we looked around the store I saw so many different types of pasta you name it they had it. As I was looking I spotted the pasta that I had just eaten at La Mela and asked her if they buy it from here and low and behold I was blessed with La Mela's tortellini! I can not wait to cook it myself and pair it with a rich and creamy sauce something similar to the baskiol sauce they serve it with at La Mela. My mother purchased some fresh pasta and frozen raviolis. The prices were really reasonable. I will now be stopping here every trip I make to Little Italy and suggest you come and check it out for yourself.

Yelp
This is an excellent pasta shop! They make so many different varieties of pasta and raviolis. So far I've had the lobster ravioli and squid ink pasta, and both were amazing! Prices are reasonable, and most stuff you buy is made in the back of the shop except the prepackaged dried pastas. Be sure to check the hours before you come because they're not open that late. This is definitely my favorite pasta shop in Little Italy!
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Outstanding fresh pasta from an awesome, old school shop in Little Italy. Tortellini is my absolute favorite kind of pasta, partially because it reminds me of being a kid and partially because they are basically just Italian dumplings. I've tried 3 varieties: whole wheat spinach & cheese, tomato basil, and whole wheat artichoke. All I can say is delicious! I love coming here and can't wait to try other varieties.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
Piemonte is one of the last of the old Italian shops in Little Italy. That is actually saying something now that there are only like 3 left (Di Palo and Alleva too). They specialize in ravioli although they upsell with a lot more general Italian goods like most Italian food stores these days. The place isn't particularly well organized but the people behind the counter are friendly and can show you around. When I went, they didn't have any fresh ravioli and had a limited selection of frozen (booo!). Regardless I decided to try a box (50 medium ravioli for like $8). When they mentioned a meat and ricotta ravioli I was sold. I sometimes get a box of each just to mix them together, so why not? It turned out pretty good, with the resulting creamy filling pairing well with a medium tomato sauce. The ravioli did have a tendency to dry out though; it seems like they may have been in the freezer for awhile. Not my favorite ravioli ever but not the worst either; it was well worth the ~$10. For 4-5 meals this is a great deal. I may give them a shot again someday but I'm sticking to Rafetto's and Brooklyn otherwise.

Yelp
My favorite place to buy fresh homemade pasta and ravioli in New York ! At first I thought this was one of the many tourist place in Little Italy, but now I know this is one of the last real Italian shops of the neighborhood, their ravioli are delicious!!! Il posto migliore per comprare pasta e ravioli freschi a New York! Sono buonissimi!

Jessica R.

Yelp
They have a few very special items, like the marinara sauce & homemade pastas. But unfortunately, I walked in yesterday & the first thing I could smell was a kitty liter that needed to be cleaned. I love cats and I loved seeing their cat in the shop but come on owners, make sure the kitty liter is cleaned everyday so your shop doesn't smell. Maybe more than once a day. I was hoping to smell delicious Italian food but instead that odor made me want to get out of there quickly.

Yelp
Piemonte has some of the best vegetarian pasta options I've seen in the area. Two of our favorites have been the beet pasta with broccoli and the pumpkin pasta with parmesan. Amazing, unique flavors and always fresh. The woman who runs the place is super friendly and the cozy retail space is packed full of all your fresh, frozen and dry pasta options.
google avatar

J M.

Yelp
Wonderful pasta and the women who work here are no joke. They're honest and they know their sh*t. One of my favorite places to buy fresh pasta and sauce!
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
Delicious homemade pastas, sauces, great Italian coffee and sweets, and usually they have samples put out for tasting as well. Accepts credit card with $10 minimum (as most places).
google avatar

Raymond F.

Yelp
Their Marinara sauce is the hands down best. Everything I have tried there is also good, different varieties of fresh and dried pastas. Although the name suggests ravioli is their best item, I would strongly argue that it is their sauce. I have tried over five different sauces from other specialty shops, none even come close to this quality and flavor. Not to mention, their pastas are top notch. For people who haven't tried it or are inexperienced in Italian food, hit up the fresh pastas, not only will it taste better but it'll also make your easier.
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
My favorite item in the store is the porcini mushroom raviolis. I have been buying them here for more years than I like to mention. They were 5.95 a box for 50 way back when but now its 9.95 a box. This time I also picked up a bag of minis porcini mushroom raviolis which I hope will be just as good. They also have a good variety of other pastas, fresh, frozen and dried but I had better elsewhere.
google avatar

Rima F.

Yelp
This special place remains wonderful. There are so many varieties of delicious pastas and the sauces are delectable. When you walk through the door, you walk back in time... The sales lady is always very warm and friendly.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
This place is awesome! I like making pasta at home, but I've never had great success at drying it for later use. Piemonte is good at that, so for a few bucks a pound, I can stock up on their high quality pastas to keep in my pantry (or fridge). While my gnocchi and noodle making skills are improving, I'm quite satisfied to leave the stuffing of filled pastas to the professionals. Piemonte's tomato/basil tortellini stuffed with rich parmesan filling are amazing. I just pan fried a handful along with a sardine and a sunny-side egg to top off my grits, and I can't imagine a more mindblowing breakfast. I'm grinning like a cheshire cat right now.
google avatar

Steven J.

Yelp
Best pasta in NYC? Probably. The raviolis are obviously delicious: always fresh and made with real and flavorful ingredients. The shop might be spartan, but the staff is patient and helpful (even offering advice on storage/prep/pairing), and the product is spectacular. However, don't miss the unstuffed fresh pastas either. The squid ink are a personal favorite, and the jet black color makes for a strangely good looking dish. Throw in some lump crab and sage butter sauce for a drool inducing good time.
google avatar

Nick V.

Yelp
Love going there. Stop off at Alleva for my cheese and cold cuts and here for their delicious homemade pastas. Love their squid ink linguine.

Yelp
RARE/CLASSIC NEW YORK PASTA STORE It's so rare to find places like this in Manhattan. Patronize it because places like this are vanishing forever.

Anita M.

Yelp
This is or used to be (prior to Covid-19) the best place for fresh pasta. But I have tried calling their number & have even gone to the place on a weekday between normal working hours & they are closed. Would love to know if this place has closed for good ?
google avatar

Joanna S.

Yelp
Homemade pasta of every kind fresh and dried. The block of Grand between Mott and Mulberry may be one of the greatest food streets in all New York City. handmade pasta, handmade cheese, handmade pastries all on one street with some Vietnamese bahn mi and italian subs thrown in for good measure. I'm not sure why this street isn't bigger destination for New York foodies.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
I purchased fresh ravioli, spaghetti, and marinara while passing through town on my way to Virginia. I was like a little kid in a candy store when i saw the many pasta options. The pasta is delicious and very fresh. I may need to drive up to NY again just to get more! Love Piemonte pasta!
google avatar

George C.

Yelp
Finally decided on 2 items: their fresh pumpkin tortellini and squid ink fettuccine, both of which cooked up real nice.
google avatar

Art E.

Yelp
These people are like the zen masters of pasta. Totally laid back, patient & friendly. It must be the inner peace that comes from knowing that you've achieved pasta perfection. What can I say that hasn't been said? Everything is delicious & affordable. And Piemonte oozes old-world charm/shop decor. You just cannot go wrong with the fresh pasta selections & frozen ravioli. I like to make my own sauces & use their pastas, but by all means, pick up a tasty companion sauce. They label their Puttanesca sauce as "lady of the night sauce," yet it literally means "whore's style spaghetti sauce" in Italian. That's always a fun fact to share with the non-Paisanos out there. Buon Appetito.
google avatar

Diana F.

Yelp
I've had Piemonte bookmarked since LAST June and I just stepped foot into this place tucked in Little Italy bordering Chinatown. I got the tomato and black pepper tortellini and the prosciutto and cheese tortellini. The tomato one was SO YUMMY. The prosciutto and cheese one was WAY stingy on the prosciutto - barely any prosciutto in it. I was disappointed since I LOVE prosciutto. Overall, very friendly service. Small place but lots of things!!! This is a place where your self-will has to kick in...or else you're going to have more pasta than you do money. **Coming back for the spinach&cheese tortellinis and raviolis!
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
I love the huge selection of pasta, ravioli's, and tortellinis, but the taste wasn't amazing. I had the pumpkin ravioli and prosciutto and cheese tortelloni and both were only mediocre. However, I'm not against coming back here as I do love it's convenience and how fresh everything is. Maybe I'm just not choosing the right fillings, but I wasn't as blown off my feet as I hoped to be.
google avatar

Marc L.

Yelp
So I'm thinking I want to make a nice lasagna last weekend. I've got some time to kill so rather than just run across the street to the local supermarket, I decide to hop on the 6 Train and head down to Little Italy and purchase some quality ingredients. First stop .... Piemonte.... they have a great selection to choose from, and today I decide to go with the spinach lasagna noodles. Cooking these noodles could not possibly have been easier. Simply boil some water and drop in the noodles for 3 minutes. That is all it takes. I can't possibly put into words how absolutely amazing the fresh spinach lasagna noodles from Piemonte were. Matched with some amazing cheeses from Di Palo's right next door, and my home made tomato sauce, Piemonte helped turned what I believe is already a great lasagna recipe into an entirely new experience. Its simply indescribable how good this meal was! You'll need to try it yourself. I can't wait to get back to Piemonte to try some of their other offerings .... maybe next time I'll buy some of the ravioli !!! or maybe the tortellini .... or maybe ..... ok you get the picture... Just get out there and give Piemonte a try ... its well worth the trip!
