Decent experience. They had a lot of photos of Vancouver from back in the day, which I found quite interesting, considering we were in San Francisco. Had to wear a mask for some reason. I guess they still think it's 2020.

Excellent photography space, booking in advance is required, I did so on the day, space allows for contemplation and would allow an hour to view current collections. High quality documentary, portrait, photo journalism, filmic and a refreshing find to a while away a few hours under the bay bridge. Highly recommend

I have known about Pier 24 Gallery almost since I moved here in 2010. I can't believe it's taken me this long to go. It's huge... way bigger than I had expected, and the show was excellent.

I'm sure this has been said by many other people, but this is just an amazing place and a hidden treasure. I've visited many times, and always enjoy their photography shows. I really hope they can stay at this location.

Just go! You won't regret and it will probably be the most fantastic photo gallery you've ever been too. Bookings only.
EDIT: be respectful of the time you book. A senior staff member gave me quite an attitude because I arrived 20 minutes after the scheduled time - despite the rain pouring down outside and the fact that the gallery was relatively empty. It was my third visit then. Haven't returned since.

You can take amazing shots of the bay bridge here right next to SF fire station

Fascinating gallery housing beautiful photography collections. It is free by appointment, and definitely worth it! The images are displayed blankly, however there is the option to purchase a booklet guide that gives credit to the photographers and their images. Overall a great place to marvel at for a while as the sounds of the Bay Bridge echo overhead.
