Location was excellent and close to everything we needed. Great view of the Harbor. In the morning, you could see the island come alive and at night as the final ferry left, you could see it quiet down again. Would stay there again.

What a great location - walk off the ferry straight into the hotel. View from our room of the harbour was perfect! Really central - next to bike hire, and all restaurants within a 2 to 10 minute walk. Rooms are very clean, more traditional than modern but the shower was warm and powerful and the bed very comfortable! Very standard breakfast options - full cooked or scrambled eggs and cereals/tinned fruit/yoghurt but all good. Can recommend

Only stayed one night as the island was practically booked out. Fantastic location right on the pier, the hosts were fantastic offering to hold our bags while we were on our dives.

Lovely and rustic B&B. You couldn't have any better location, it's literally 3 min walk from the ferry. Also it's really quiet which we liked, had a great sleep. There's breakfast and it's really tasty! But after that there's no service like drinks or food... we just wanted to buy bottles of water but they didn't have any. So make sure you stock basic needs from the local shop (shop closes at 6pm during weekend!!)

Clean comfortable room. Nicest people. Right at docks which made it very convenient with children. Bike shop is across the street and restaurants right up the hill. If youre reading this and still deciding, stop. Stay at keast 1 night in inishmore. My family was blessed to have come stay at Pier house.

We had the most amazing stay! Our room was great and the highlight was opening the patio doors and being greeted by 2 donkeys! Very friendly staff, yummy breakfast and location couldn't be more perfect. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Good place to stay on Aran Island. Very friendly people who are eager to please. Great views from the rooms that face the ocean, and a very easy walking distance to the small town and pubs. Fairly comfortable mattresses and decent breakfast.

The location right by the pier is great. The weather can get rough here and the other inns are up the hill in or behind the village...so you're either walking or paying for a ride. The view of the harbour is nice too. The dining room and common room are roomy and warm and charming. Breakfast was good and the servers were pleasant...all of the staffers were great.

Yelp
Good views and nice menu selection. They offer sandwiches and platters to try from. Enjoyed the seafood board and also had the chowda and steak sandwich. All were well prepared. Note this is Ireland and they have native seafood dishes prepared to their liking not necessary other folks so if u like fish prepped in diff manner u will enjoy plus the views of the sea are great. Great place for a rest stop after a tour of the island.

Yelp
The location is really good just by the pier, which is convenient, when the ferry leaves at 8.15 am. Anyway the restaurant was closed when I was there, so I can only give my review about the breakfast. The service was really nice and kind - and the breakfast was fine - especially the small selection of cheese was so tasty. The place wasn't fancy but nice - and near a few restaurants and a supermarked.

Yelp
Came here for lunch while visiting the island and oh god, gross!! The menu was all cold food except stew and fish and chips. Everything else was all cold seafood platters, ciabattas and other unappetizing foods. I ordered a seafood board and my mom ordered the fisherman's lunch and she almost shrieked in terror looking at it; an assortment if cold pickled and smoked fish. The atmosphere is not great, feels like a school cafeteria, and the staff are ok. Better to go elsewhere than here though, AVOID if you can!!

Yelp
SO GOOD. They have an amazing view of the water; it's the closest place to where the ferry will drop you off. I ordered the seafood board and it was delicious! And deceivingly filling. It was so refreshing and beautiful to sit and watch the water and enjoy the food with a beer. They had wifi, you just have to ask them for the password. And the waitstaff was very friendly :) I don't know about the other places to eat on the island, but I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Definitely a must stop and eat restaurant directly on the bay with nice water views. Food is great and staff are very friendly, and they pour a nice pint of Guinness.

Yelp
We decided to pop in here for a bite to eat after our long tour of the island, and god I wish we hadn't. I ordered the special, which was "Mackerel fillets in a herb and butter sauce, with chive mash, served with vegetables. Herself had a mushroom and bacon omelet and the young lad had the sausages and chips. When our food arrived I immediately noticed the lack of chives in my mash, and also that the mash was a ball of grease, in all my years I have never seen anything like it, I would have been blinded with the sheen off it, it I hadn't been wearing my sun glasses, the fish was so dry, I could have hammered nails in with it and there was a total lack of the promised herb butter and the vegetables, I took one bite of the fish and mash and, Christ it was vile, so I pushed it to one side as there was no way I was assaulting my palette with it. The omelet wasn't too bad, it lacked any form of seasoning but other than that, I couldn't fault it. The sausages and chips were just thrown onto the plate and were exactly what they were, although for €9 I would have expected a bit more, like maybe, home cut chips (they were shoestring chips from a packet) and some sort of gourmet sausage instead of the basic ones that were served. My family ate what they were given without complaint as I headed back into the restaurant in search of our waitress, I explained that I couldn't eat my food as it was terrible, so she followed me out to the table (we choose to eat outside) she took one look at my plate and said "Oh my god that's disgusting" she asked if I wanted anything else, and I refused, saying that it had put me off eating there, she said she would feel the same and took the food back to the kitchen. We paid the €25 bill and left, hopefully to never return again.

Yelp
What a lovely surprise! This place was so delicious for lunch and it's on an island! The chicken sandwich and chowder were amazing and the view is beautiful. We couldn't have picked a better place to eat and grab a Guinness on Aran Island.
