Great location in summer sit outside, it gets busy. Winter is also ideal location inside the restaurant. Mussels and seafood are the most popular! Mussels are salty, seafood chowder delicious! Free car park, overflow options, plenty of parking, in summer its busy. Great area to explore. Watch out pesky seagulls.

I recently visited Pier Street restaurant and loved the nice and cozy atmosphere, especially its fantastic location close to the beach. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a stroll by the sea. If you’re a mussel lover, you absolutely need to check this place out. The mussels are great and tasty, and their chips are fabulous – crispy and perfectly seasoned. I did notice a few closed mussels in my dish, but when I mentioned it to the staff, they were quick to replace it with a fresh batch of perfectly cooked, open mussels. The service was attentive and handled the situation well. Overall, Pier Street is a gem for seafood lovers, especially if you’re craving mussels. Highly recommend for the food and beachside vibes!

Fish and chips, locally sourced mussels, seafood chowder (flathead tail, prawns, mussels) were so fresh and cooked to perfection! Views are stunning across the beach, sitting outside on a 26 •C day, light winds. Lots of parking right up to the cafe. Front of house staff a little distracted but super friendly when they did have a moment to stop and take my order. Kitchen staff looked very efficient and busy too. Floors bit wet bear drinks area but otherwise a clean and open decore. Ordering by QR code was more efficient than ordering inside. Free and unlimited (self serve) refrigerated ice and carbonated waters….what a nice touch. Our return to this cafe every year does not disappoint. Group of 8 range 3-73yrs old very full and happy. Thank you!

Great food and location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating although that was in Winter and it gets much busier in Summer. It's right on the beach, so has great views. Service was nice and fast, you can order online at the tables or go inside. It's dog friendly too, but the outside area isn't fully enclosed.

We got the seafood platter to share. Overall I would say it was average to be honest- not sure it was worth $90. When it arrived it was luke warm as though it had been sitting there for a while. Tiny prawns that didn’t taste fresh. The snapper was nice but tiny portion. Nice calamari and my husband liked the mussels.

We've eaten here a number of times when visiting the area. This is the first place i tried mussels. One time, they were quite salty but most times very well cooked. I'm not a fan of the baked cheesecake, but they'd a personal preference. It's a nice restaurant on the waterfront, parking is free but it does get very busy.

My friends and I had the Port to Plate experience, and what an experience! First restaurant off the ferry so you can’t miss it, outdoor tables with views of the water, and the best mussels we’ve ever had. We tried three different options and loved them all. My friend commented that the chips were the best he’s ever had.

Beautiful spot to enjoy some lunch before and or after your swims! Waters beautiful, and off main highways. Bellarine is stunning
