Piergiorgio Palace Hotel

Beautiful views, don’t expect too much from the room itself. Liked · Excellent views, both from room as well as pool and breakfast area. Good Dominican buffet breakfast. There was adequate lighting, fan and air conditioner. Disliked · Little dated rooms. Awkward mix of modern amenities with antique decor. Unclean coffee machine in room.

The first room we were in had outlets not working, bugs in light fixtures, no hot water, and no gas to the stove. No counter space Ava one night a bee got in. The second room had no dresser no gas to stove and we had 6 bees one night. The rooms are outdated, the fountain pool was drained and construction was being done sent in morning. Outside the resort they have bee hives making honey. NEVER stay here again!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel and wanted to share my feedback. The hotel's romantic ambiance was truly delightful, and the service provided by your staff was exceptional. I commend your team for their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. However, I must express my concern regarding the hotel's maintenance and upkeep. The property appears to be in serious need of updates and repairs. While my room was clean and comfortable, the overall condition of the hotel, particularly the pool area, was disappointing. The lack of seating around the pool was a significant inconvenience. I believe that addressing these maintenance issues would greatly enhance the guest experience and align with the hotel's romantic atmosphere.

As other reviews say, this hotel is in need of some repair - but they were conducting various repairs the duration of our trip (new paint, repairing balconies, etc). It's still a very beautiful hotel. Service was great, we had a water issue in our first room and they upgraded our room right away. The location is quiet and tucked away. The food was great as well! Pleasant staff. They have stairs going down the rocks into the ocean, we swam there daily, some cool fish to see. I will be coming here again! Fair price too.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL - DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked here last minute because of a flight cancellation. |Our room was disgusting and smelled of urine. I could not even let the kids use the blankets in the room they were so vile. |The front desk staff were friendly and kind - only positive.|It is really sad....It looks like it could be a really magnificent hotel - great location - beautiful architecture but it is in horrible condition.|Also, they charged us an extra $70 for my three children to stay (food fee) even though I told them that we would not be there in the morning for breakfast.

Ive stayed in little quaint places before but this is the worst experience Ive ever had. Property was under construction and has a lot of things that need upkeep. The toilet stopped working. ||Beware that they do not take cards, although it says so online, claiming the machine doesnt work and you have to pay in cash. I'm not sure why they dont just mention that. ||Food in restaurant was just okay, but cats are running around begging. I understand why they are there but Im allergic and also dont like animals around while I eat. ||We ended up cutting our stay short unfortunately. It has potential but I really dont like the dishonesty about payment methods.

This was one of my favorite spots in the whole world. I came back to it after 10+ yrs and I could not believe what it has become. Apart from the amazing views….. The table was wobbly, we kept holding our drinks, the tablecloth was ugly, something you find at a mom and pops small restaurant. The waitress we had couldn’t explain not one single item in the menu, drinks included! She kept leaving our table to go ask in the kitchen/bar. The menu has been changed and it’s all garbage. The food was cold, I ordered risotto and it was hard and did not taste good, my husband had the salmon (you could tell it was frozen, not fresh) he took one bite and gave it to the cat that was roaming around. We all left our food intact. Know let me remind you, I been there before when it was the best, my uncle got married there and it was my dream to get marry there as well. Through the years I always come back because of how much I love it, so I was in shock to see what it has become. The place could use some maintenance, some love. I left very sad, we ended up going to another restaurant. Did I mention it was my bday and I was on vacation with my husband that was visiting for the first time? 😓

Our stay was very pleasant. Customer Service was excellent, and our room was very cozy, equipped with great Air Conditioner units. It is currently under a bit of renovation/restoration.
