This was so worth the drive. They had the most friendly and welcoming staff and the pierogis were so delicious! I was nervous about trying the ghost pepper pierogi but I’m so glad I did! That one was the best one in the menu!

Google
Bomb food. Quick and friendly service. Solid NA beer/cider selection. Can't wait to eventually try all the vegan options - there are so many that sound great!

Google
Really good food. Lots of college-aged people from CCAD from across the street. Had a college bar feel to it, but nice. The pierogi's were great, as you would expect from the name, but the chicken paprikash stole the show, delicious. Sauerkraut balls were a little undercooked but still had a great flavor. I'll be back.

Google
Super cool concept and overall good food! Could use a bit more flavor in my opinion but I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Service is 10/10!

Google
Big variety of cans (ciders and beers galore— stuff I haven’t seen elsewhere). We got 8 pierogis and chicken paprishka. The food was lovely. Can’t say this is a dive bar, but it does have dive bar vibes (complimentary).

Google
We really enjoy everything we had. The sausage and pierogi's were delicious. They have fun filled pierogi's but out favorite was the traditional cheddar. Server was busy but amazing. Great food choices if you are vegan.

Google
This place was really fun. The menu was unique and exciting. The food tasted incredible. The services was excellent. The pricing was comparable to other Columbus restaurants but not unreasonable. If you are looking for a pierogi place that will make the whole family happy, this is where you should go. The drink specials were excellent too.

I enjoyed myself. I liked the food and I thought the staff was pretty friendly. Can be a little expensive. I'll be back on Tuesday.

Yelp
I'm in town for some work meetings and arrived fairly late on a Monday night in December and it is freaking cold (I live in S.F. California and have become a winter weenie) and I'm hungry for something other than nearby pizza. I got the "recommended list" of nearby restaurants from the Marriott property I'm staying at but I did my own research on Yelp and found this gem of joint ! Walked over and Lori was at the bar and she took great care of me. As others note, it is kind of hidden behind a market so be vigilant and you'll find it. Decent list of beers and drinks and they apparently swap out the beers on tap often and the price points are fair ! Special mixed drinks are also only $10 and they also seemed well constructed and well thought out. But let's get to the reason I was there - Pierogi's !! I used to hit the Ukrainian and polish places in Alphabet city in lower Manhattan New Yawk but those were Classic style and these are inventive and clever and actually quite tasty. They had about 10 different ones to try and I got an assortment and each one was actually quite tasty and unique - The brown butter one and the corn and green bean one were lovely and they came with sour cream on top and some sautéed caramelized onions ! Yum - and for $2.25/each a decent price. The pot roast on noodles ($13) was also a solid portion and done well. I would have liked all of the food a little warmer but all in all delicious. Staff (Lori at the bar) was friendly and helpful and I noted that tuesdays they have a reduced price deal on all the pierogis ($1.50) and drink specials and happy hour deals as well. Plus they have a clever tee shirt riffing a favorite teenage band of mine (Joy Division) for $20 I had to also get ! Tomorrow I'm back for more bargain pirogies and perhaps the chicken paprikosh or poutine ! Glad these folks are here - perhaps an outpost in the Bay Area ? Let's talk !! Do yerself a favor and hit this place up.

Yelp
Hooray for Pierogi Mountain! There is something for everybody here. Who doesn't love a pierogi?! If you don't know how to answer that question, a pierogi is essentially a Polish stuffed noodle- think like a potsticker-sized ravioli. Here, the pierogi fillings are as creative as they are delicious: flavors range from a classic potato cheddar to a creative (and amazing!) samosa pierogi. You can order as many pierogis as you want, and you can mix and match the flavors if you like some variety in your life. Oh, and they have some sort of pierogi special on Tuesdays: I think it was $2 per pierogi (as of Nov 2024). That not sounding like your thing? There are plenty of other, equally delicious items on the menu. The chicken paprikash and the kielbasa are standouts. Dietary restrictions? You'll find a fairly robust vegan and vegetarian menu here too, including a meatless kielbasa! The prices are reasonable, but the happy hour pricing (especially on Tuesdays, if youre ordering pierogis) is a great deal! And they have a cute and private back patio that makes you forget you're in the middle of Ohio. Dreamy. Oh, and because French fries are important (!): when I dined in, the fries came out HOT and fresh. A large order was plenty for about 4 people to snack on until we got our main orders. Pierogi Mountain never disappoints! Highly recommend!

Yelp
After a quick hangout with the coworkers, I let them know I was starving and needed some food. We came to Pierogi Mountain since it was close and open. I have never known that this place was right behind the Hills Market. I work down the street. Anyways this place had immaculate chill vibes since the spooky decor was definitely on brand and made me excited for the food. We got service immediately with a round of waters to start. I ordered the Cider Pot Roast meal with a sauerkraut and egg noodles. And a round of unique ingredients handmade Pierogis: Potato Kraut and Mushroom, Samosas and Jamaican jerk sweet potatoe. All unique and all good. They are small but a great reason to get a bunch. Beer is cold too. 5 stars!

Bruce K.

Yelp
I had a very pleasant evening here, arriving early in the dinner rush and then staying since it was comfy, it was cool and the place never completely filled up to the point where I'd have been taking a table from a paying customer. Super easy to choose a plate of pierogies, going with one of each from the menu. I'm not an idiot - I skipped the "Ghost Pepper" one but did get one of each of the rest. It didn't take long and they arrived on a plate, perfectly presented with a squiggle of sour cream and accompanied by a small pile of sauteed onions. My favorite was the classic Potato Cheddar, just delicious with sharp cheese and a hint of paprika. So yummy. Great friendly service and terrific food. It's five stars for me. [Yes, Pierogi Mountain was visited by Guy Fieri in Season 27 of Diners Dives Drive-ins.] [Review 1328 of 2024 - 247 in Ohio - 22351 overall]

Yelp
Oh Pierogi Mountain, I am so glad I was finally able to try you. I love that they have rotating flavors so there is always something new to try. My favorite on this visit was honestly the original potato cheddar. They provide the perfect amount of sour cream and I love having the onions on the side. I also got an order of their seasoned fries and am so glad I did! They seem unassuming but were very flavorful.

Russel H.

Yelp
A gem. Fun, unique menu, all reasonably priced. You can drop some money if you order one of everything, as I did, but you can have a large meal for a lot less too. Also an impressive beer list that shows an actual thought process. It's small without the patio so if you come in the winter expect a wait, but it's worth it.

JC C.

Yelp
We got the Mushroom Struggeoff Putine, and it was AMAZING! We also loved all the great Vegan selections.

Robert K.

Yelp
Called for pick up and the person that took my order was courteous and efficient. The food was tasty. However, I will just say that what they call chicken paprikash is definitely not that. While the dumplings were wonderful. The dish should be called chicken in brown gravy.

Kenya G.

Yelp
Love that there was parking, the pierogies were so flavorful as was the pot roast. There are a lot of vegan options to choose from and based on the vegan pierogies they were superb. Service was great and attentive. The vibe is a cool underground bar feel so it's definitely an experience. Will definitely be back, if not trying to get the pierogies frozen to bring home.

Yelp
Last night I met up with my ladies at Pierogi Mountain for a girls' night of drinks, dinner and trivia. I love this little local spot for Polish yums and we had a great experience--amazing food, service and entertainment--you can't go wrong! The pierogi menu has a variety of creative options that cater to different tastes and cuisines, including vegan. Whether you're a traditionalist who enjoys classic potato and cheese pierogi or an adventurous foodie willing to try unique flavor combinations, Pierogi Mountain has something for everyone! (And they don't just have pierogi!) I started off with one of their beer can specials--a 16 oz. Saucy Brew Works sour--for just $5.50. We shared some fries with ranch and their ranch dressing is thick and flavorful for dipping! For my main event, I tried the Potato Ruskie; Potato, Sauerkraut & Mushroom; Tomato, Balsamic & Basil; and the Aloo Vindaloo. They were served with sour cream and caramelized onions. They were all tasty and at $2.25 a pop, I think it's pretty reasonable. (Tuesdays pierogi are on special for $1.50 each all day dine-in!) Whether you're a pierogi connoisseur or a newcomer to this Eastern European delight, Pierogi Mountain is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied belly and a desire to return soon to explore more of their delectable offerings.

Yelp
Upon entering this restaurant, hubby and I were warmly greeted by restaurant staff. The restaurant was full of happy customers and the music playing in the restaurant was upbeat but not overpowering when having a conversation. After quickly finding a seat, we looked at the menu and hubby was excited to see on the menu that all pierogis are $1.50 all day Tuesday. I liked that the menu is clearly marked with menu items that can be made vegan. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the following vegan pierogis: potato, sauerkraut, and mushroom, artichoke &sweet pepper scampi, and sweet potato curry and their Hungarian poutine fries while hubby (who's vegetarian) ordered the following pierogis: potato cheddar, smoked Gouda & roasted asparagus, artichoke & sweet pepper scampi, and sweet potato curry. Hubby was still hungry after eating his pierogis so he ordered a vegan kielbasa sausage that was served on a bed of sauerkraut. The food was so good, I ordered a seitan schnitzel sandwich to go. After having such a delicious meal with a chill atmosphere and friendly staff, we definitely plan to stop here again whenever we are in Columbus.

Montana L.

Yelp
Saw this restaurant had been on Triple D so we had to try it! It wasn't very busy and the service was good. We started with the sausage and kraut balls and two of each of the different pierogi types. The kraut balls didn't have much flavor and didn't really taste much like kraut. The pierogi were good but nothing special. They were a tad mushy. The Jamaican jerk was definitely spicy! I didn't like the beet one, however, I do not like beets. The roasted garlic had A strong garlic flavor. My favorite was the potato cheddar! We were after our pierogi samplings.

Laura F.

Yelp
This is not my first time to pierogi mountain. We have been going to it since it was on Summit, then in German Village and finally it found its forever home behind Hills market on Grant/Long. This location is by far the best, its dimly lit, has really cool twinkle lighting to ser the vibe. The staff is amazing, super attentive but the food... has been unchanged: beyond excellent at each spot. Creative pierogis and sandwiches, wonderful Hungarian dinner entrees and yes, they have vegan selections! I love, love , LOVE this place!

Jenn C.

Yelp
I was so impressed by good pierogis in Columbus since this area is not known for Polish food. Their owner is vegan and a good portion of their menus is vegan so you did not miss the meat or dairy. You did have the option to have non vegan options so it meets many dietary restrictions. We g the poutine and all of their pierogi options. I will say that I am a traditionalist when it comes to pierogis so I appreciate the options, but truly judge a place based on their most basic options. I did not realize that I needed a flight of pierogis until here since you order pierogis individually and not as an entire order to mix and max. The poutine was my favorite thing because I do love poutine and the flavers were so good. We went right when they opened and had the choice of indoors or outdoors since it was early summer. There was only one person working the front of house, but service was super great and she had an extensive understanding of the menu. It was pretty no frills and sitting outside was super nice, but we were the only people there. I think if we came later it could have been more busy. Would come back here if I were passing through.

Gregory F.

Yelp
Persistently reliable and one of my favorite spots in Columbus for takeout or sitdown. Had heard about it for so long by only word of mouth - hard to call it a hidden gem anymore though because everyone seems to love it so much. Cozy interior and incredibly affordable - able to feed my girlfriend and I for sub-$25 for a complete dinner. Tons of options for creative pierogi fillings that rotate all the time - favorite was the Sweet Potato Pierogi - don't skimp on the caramelized onions and sour cream, they make everything taste 10-fold better! But honestly the thing to talk about - THE CHICKEN PAPRIKASH. Legit to die for - the noodles are so soft and pillowy the way a well-cooked gnocchi noodle is - and the sauce is delightful. So flavorful, creative, inclusive, and just unique - no other place offers Polish food in Columbus like this.

Alice R.

Yelp
Very busy on a Wednesday night (weekly Trivia) so we had to wait for a seat at the bar. VERY noisy! I thought we were going to a restaurant but really this is more of a neighborhood bar with tables and good food. Also Trivia and Karaoke on various nights. I Enjoyed a variety of Pierogi here. Nice workers and we enjoyed watching the trivia game

Yelp
On Top of Old Pierogi Looking for a place to eat while on a road trip is an interesting experience. Nothing makes the miles while away, like discussing what's for dinner for 3 hours. This is basically what happened as we drove from Baltimore to Columbus. Getting four individuals with specific tastes to agree is quite the chore, but when Pierogies were put on the table, not much argument against that could be said. The Good: *Interesting place that's really a dive bar that just happens to serve some tasty Polish comfort food. *Featured in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives (S27:E9 "College Champs"), if that floats your boat. It doesn't float mine, but you do you. *Tons of local microbrews and ciders on-tap. *Outdoor dining *Great value for the money, but I'm from Cali, so take that with a grain of salt. *Mushroom Stroganoff was very comfort food good. Nothing that'll blow your socks off but tasty. *Pierogies were all tasty (just depends on what you like), and they have something for every diet, even vegans. *Crispy potato Latkes were good and crisp (as advertised) but could've used some salt. The Meh: *Fried Sauerkraut balls were crisp but had no real flavor. It needed a dipping sauce or something. *Pet peeve of mine is when restaurants call something "poutine," when it's actually just cheddar cheese fries... No curds = no poutine. The Ugly: *We didn't feel the most welcome there, and I'm sure we're not their typical crowd, but we were definitely harshing their mellow. That's not to say we felt unwelcome, just maybe catching a weird vibe. TLDR: Nice spot for some tasty European cuisine & cold suds in a very interesting location.

Yelp
WOW! I tried Pierogi Mountain today and was floored. Firstly, it's amazing to go to a restaurant that's so well-versed in vegan options I just have to say "all vegan" and they take it from there. We started with the Hungarian poutine and potato latkes, the poutine was out of this world. Next, the pierogi's and Halushki. The pierogis had several unique and delicious flavors, we got Potato/Mushroom/Cheddar, Tomatillo Chile Verde, Tomato Balsamic & Basil and Grippo's. Each one was delightful but my favorite was the Tomato Balsamic & Basil. The Halushki was delightful, I hadn't had it since I was a kid and it was truly a blast from the past, but vegan this time. On the whole - I highly recommend coming here.

Robin N.

Yelp
Short happy hour stop in. I have wanted these pirogies for a long time. Really good. Also a simple side of pickles. Those have a kick. I love this atmosphere in here! Definitely be back.

Jenna J.

Yelp
The poutine is SO good and the staff is super friendly! Chill, divey vibes in a cute old building.

Patrick S.

Yelp
A different style of ambiance, not quite hipster but maybe a little bit? There is outdoor and indoor seating. Kids are allowed, but I don't know if my picky eaters would love it. Service was great! The food had mixed reviews prior but I'm happy to say that ours was delicious! We tried all the pierogies and a noodle dish. All were great.

Greg C.

Yelp
Bit of a dive bar. Pierogis and potato pancakes were ok. The kielbasa was mediocre. I grew up on homemade Polish food, so this was a high bar to clear. It's no Hamtramck...

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Only been here once, but looking forward to coming back. Pierogi Mountain has a sort of cozy, dive bar vibe. Combined with the friendly service, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. They serve very affordable pub fare, plus the eponymous pierogis. Every pierogi was delightful, the Herbes de Provence was very good (we didn't get to try the sweet potato which sounded amazing). We also had the buffalo sauce cauliflower bites, which I recommend. It also has a surprisingly cute little patio. It only sits 4 tables, but it's completely surrounded by tall plants so you feel like you're in a little garden courtyard instead of a parking lot downtown. It was a lovely space to eat in on a warm summer night.

Terry T.

Yelp
Great comfort food. We will certainly be back the next time we are in Columbus. Parking is convenient and it is not far from the convention center.

Steve T.

Yelp
Seating inside and out. Outside was much quieter. Inside bar/restaurant has a nightclub setting. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was not representative of the middle European style. All appeared to be reheated and not fresh for the prep time. Everything had the taste of burnt grill. The most disappointing was the bill for the small servings. Esp for a to-go dinner. Haluski as a meal was served as a side. Four to five tablespoons. Cold and pre cooked possibly frozen noodles. The pierogi had unique flavors but were greatly overpriced for the serving. The latkes definitely not fresh. No flavor other than burnt grill. The amount of grilled onions was a joke. Sry don't enjoy bad reviews but this was a big letdown for me growing up with this type of food.

Dereck I.

Yelp
This was absolutely the worst food I've ever ordered. 1 Latkes were burnt and soggy, but at least seemed house made 2 Kielbasa was pre-packaged and burnt 3 Saurkraut was canned 4 Applesauce was canned 5 Mushroom Stromboli was so salty it was completely inedible. 6 My ONE prierogi was a Mrs T's that came out of a bag that I paid 2.25 for. Either the entire staff just had a bad day or they are cutting corners. This was entirely unacceptable from a "Prierogi" restaurant. All of this should be house-made. Thrown in the trash.

Bill Z.

Yelp
We were looking for someplace just a little bit less conventional for our first dinner during our stay in Columbus, and boy did this place satisfy that! I'm not sure if there are any other restaurants similar to Pierrogi Mountain in the area, but this was the one that showed up prominently in a Yelp search. The place has this cozy, zen, welcoming atmosphere, and the music selection is awesome. I almost broke Shazam several times trying to identify what was playing (it had to go into its deepest searches), and I want to use the songs I heard as new search arguments for my music streaming. The food is Eastern European comfort food to the highest level, plus a good beer selection to go with that. We had an assortment of pierogis (of course) and the chicken paprikas, which was filled with warmth and flavor and rich dumplings. The food comes out quickly too. This is a place I'd love to come with friends for an extended stay, alternating between food and beer offerings. Check their listings for happy hours and special events.

Kurt I.

Yelp
Holy hell I've found polish alcohol fueled heaven, and it has vegan options! I fully recommend traversing the pierogi mountain, no sherpas needed, but bring your appetite. I recommend Tuesdays where pierogi are 50¢ cheaper per delicious morsel. Heck to the yes.

Adam C.

Yelp
Pierogi Mountain used to operate just as a food stand stand but now they have their own location downtown that has a full menu. Their famous pierogis are available in a variety of forms for $2 each. I had the classic potato and cheese and it was delicious! Easily the best part of the meal and I'd go back to try the remaining variations. The others in my party loved theirs as well. I also tried the latkes and they were likewise delicious. The chicken paprikas was a bit non-standard but still tasty. Service was fast and friendly.

Alistair K.

Yelp
This is a pretty small place and while we didn't have any trouble walking in to find a table, the service was insanely slow. It filled up pretty full after we got in and I think they were just understaffed like maybe someone called out last minute or something but it was bad enough waiting to get any attention that even we were getting impatient and honestly my friend and I are very patient and laid back. The food was really good though and my buddy said it's never been that slow before, so I would be willing to try it again. Eventually.

Valerie W.

Yelp
I was in town to meet up at the (early September!!) Oktoberfest at the Fairgrounds with some people, and had a "hankering" for some German/E. European food (yep, I know they're not the same...) but no way Jose way was I going to wait on any of the ridiculously looooooooong lines to get what I'm sure was highly overpriced "ok" food, when I just KNEW there were MUCH better options to be had. So while everyone else ate their fair faire, I consulted my trusty Yelp app and (re)discovered this intriguing (though not quite German, but close enough...) option. It's easy to miss this great "hole in the wall" location, but DON'T... More than enough parking on a late(r) Saturday evening (about 8:30-9pm) super cozy, with a nice patio and comfy indoor seating as well. I was "flying solo," but this is a FINE spot to go with friends for a late(r) night bite. There are a lot of interesting, UNIQUE choices on their menu, and I decided I would climb to the top of the MOUNTAIN and order one of each and every TEMPTING pierogi on the menu... It looks like they change their pierogi options pretty often, and truth be told, I was a bit sad that some of the previously reviewed options were not available, but was happy with my choices, esp. the jalapeno-pineapple mix!! I also tried sauerkraut balls (!!!) for the first time, and they were surprisingly good as well!! Great service, VERY reasonable prices, and DEFINITELY a great choice if you're tired of the same old, same old!! Hope to be back to try more off their rotating menu!!

Rachel G.

Yelp
I recently visited Pierogi Mountain with my partner. The name caught our attention, and so we decided to investigate for lunch. We ordered one of every pierogi, which are priced at $2.25 each. They were very tasty, but on the smaller side of what'd I'd expect for the price. Our favorites were the original potato cheddar and the smoked Gouda & roasted asparagus. We ordered haluski and added pork kielbasa. That was delicious; the noodles were thick and there were plenty of vegetables, although again, we thought the portion size was a bit small. We also got beers, of which they have a solid selection. Overall, the service was good and pretty quick, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio for some alfresco pierogies.

Lena G.

Yelp
In town for a few days at the convention center. Took my 2 teen sons with me. Last time we ate pierogis was in Poland and we were very excited to try this place. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant had dim lights and a bar feel. Our waiter was very nice. My side salad was very good and was served with a red wine shallot vinaigrette. But the latkes and pierogis were not. Everything was overcooked, burnt, and lacked flavor.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This is my favorite comfort meal in Columbus. Vegans rejoice! They actually have really awesome vegan and vegetarian options. My go-to is the vegan Mac and cheese with vegan kielbasa. You also can't go wrong with the latkes.

Kalah Rae F.

Yelp
Finally tried the famous Pierogi Mountain since they got a new location away from Cafe Bourbon St. We tried several different flavors of pierogi, including one that was fried. The flavor was good on all of them but I am knocking a star off because the texture was almost too soft/smooth/mushy on the inside. Maybe a little too much liquid? Some were slightly firmer than others, but still all slightly too mushy for me. The chicken paprikash was tasty though! Also the pierogis were pretty cheap at $2 each so it's not a bad option for some late-night grubbin. I would probably try it again and hope that the texture is a little better next time.

Stacie D.

Yelp
Phenomenal! Creative yet balanced take on old world comfort food. Traditional and modern offerings with many vegan options and a seasonally changing menu. Pierogi Mountain is a MUST visit, and we visit frequently!

Nicole W.

Yelp
Delicious date night stop Patio for warmer weather Our favorite is the goat cheese pierogi

Jeremy K.

Yelp
Pierogies are a luxurious comfort food from my youth. My parents worked hard, but we were not elaborate eaters, and our meals were often wonderfully homemade casseroles of whatever was left in the cabinet but every once in a while, there was a splurge in the freezer aisle, and we would end up with these gooey dough, boiled pierogi miracles. I would just melt butter on them And make each bite last as long as I could. I say that to say this. I love them so much that I should recuse myself from reviewing. I don't know how to objectively review the quality of a pierogi. Let's start with the charm then. The vibe is completely "favorite local spot". No pretense, but the staff and guests know what it is and like it. We were greeted immediately and sat outside. I felt cool just by being near the staff. "Oh hey yeah, I'm a local yeah" I can imagine myself saying if I actually was. I wonder what houses cost there? Maybe. Anyway, I ordered the " pierogi Mountain" special which I think was meant to be a sampler. I ate it all. My wife loved hers. Mine was very good! HOWEVER! I should have cleansed my pallet because they are all so flavorful. I carried every herb, spice, and whatever else with me to the next. Ending in a self inflicted confused but content bout that was somehow burning, excited, soothed, and content at the same time. Bar looked good. Good drink selection. Paid back attentive and sincere staff. It's a win.

Isabel C.

Yelp
We tried every one of the pierogis and it was a lot of fun! The restaurant was really cute and there was a lot of plants outside. The food was good. It felt more like a snack than dinner so next time I'd just order more. We split 8 pierogis between two people. Nice and clean bathrooms as well.

Greg M.

Yelp
Nice presentation, poor service, mediocre food. Came in on a Monday evening for dinner. Nice selections of beers on tap. Would have had a few, but our waiter abandoned us after our initial order, so I could only try one. Tried 4 different pierogis. Would have had more, but they were sold out of many of the tantalizing flavors I saw on the menu. They were also sold out of the chicken paprikash and several other items, so I opted for the smoked kielbasa. It appears they make their pierogis in house, but not the same for the sausage. An average supermarket variety, served nicely over a bed of sauerkraut and plain yellow mustard. Couldn't taste any smoke at all in it. All my pierogis tasted the same, except for the deep fried chocolate peanut butter, which was intriguing and good, but not to die for. Had to ask for our check and after waiting a bit longer, just left the money on the table.

Riley H.

Yelp
The pierogies were delicious! However, it took over twenty minutes to take our order, and over an hour to get our food, even though all we ordered was a plate of 10 pierogies. There were only a few people dining in, as it was late in the afternoon, so we were sort of confused as to why it took so long. I would get takeout from this restaurant for sure, however I don't think my husband and I will be dining at the restaurant again. It's sad, because the inside of the restaurant is super cool, and has TVs where they were playing funny animal videos. However, it just wasn't worth the wait. The prices were very fair and affordable.

Les R.

Yelp
You have to run out and try this spot out! It's such good food and affordable! Great prices and delicious. I think I have found a new favorite spot! It's kind of divvy on the inside but in a cool way. We dined in but they offer indoor seating and a patio. There is marked parking on the side lot. We started with three pierogis each. We both had the Potato Cheddar ($2) - Thier most popular, and the Brie, Roasted Red Pepper & Fennel ($2) - with brie, sweet roasted red peppers, blended with potato & fennel. I had the Nachos Poerlgi for my third - 3-cheese queso mixed w/black beans, tomato & pickled jalapeno, and deep fried. My partner had a Potato Havarti, Dill & Lemon Buttery havarti whipped together with fresh dill, lemon juice, zest & potato for his. All of these were so good and delightfully exceed any expectations and only $2 each. They did have Vegan option available as well. For my main dish I had the Housemade grilled Kielbasa Sausage ($6.50). It was served on grilled sauerkraut and a side of mustard. My partner has the Chicken Paprikash ($ 7.50) - traditional Hungarian chicken stew with vegetables and paprika over egg dough dumplings. The dumplings are my favorite part but the entire dish is well balanced and is so good. Can't wait to go back and may do pierogis across the board.

Yelp
I came here for the first time yesterday and let me tell you, I WILL be back. The service was great. Super fast and friendly, despite them being medium busy. The pierogis were top notch. We almost got one of everything.. we left one off our "tasting", but we were told that if you get every flavor, you're considered having climbed the mountain. I love that. I also tried the kielbasa with sauerkraut and it was just as flavorful as the pierogis. The decor inside is quite eclectic, but it all works with the space.

Yelp
Irritating. Sat down on a Friday night, not busy. Bartender proceeds to have a conversation with the owner who is sitting at the bar next to us counting an open till's money. Ignores us for a full 10 minutes. They need a lesson in thr basic hospitality of greeting your customers and making them feel welcome. Ordered the routine and asked for extra gravy. Not extra meat, mind you, just a teaspoon of sauce. Was told that's an extra 2 bucks. No thanks. It's not about the $, it's irritating that you nickle and dime people for some sauce. It's be like charging $5 for ketchup. The bar area is cold and drafty . Food is meh at best. Little wonder they were nearly dead on a Friday night. Won't be back.

Yelp
Side salad was fresh and yummy. The cucumbers on the salad were slightly pickled - so they tasted like pickles. We ordered: The cheddar and potato - very good per 9yr old The Peach - good The Havarti - good. Strong dill taste The Nacho - very good. Like nachos at a theater The sloppy Joe - it was ok. The Brie - it was ok The sauerkraut, mushroom, potato - good - sauerkraut is the lead in this one We don't live near here. But probably won't come back anyway.

Yelp
I first learned about Pierogi Mountain when I saw it on DDD. I've wanted to try it ever since. We came on New Years Eve, earlier in the day. There were plenty of open seats. the look inside reminds me of an old fashioned family place. We seated ourselves and were greeted by the staff. They were friendly, and very attentive. Ordered one of each Pierogi that they had and an order of sausage and kraut balls. The app came out first, they did not look very appealing, rather squashed and flat and looked greasy. The coating had a nice crunch, but the flavor of the ball itself was bland. There was a sauce served with it that had a garlic type taste. the pierogi's arrived and we began tasting. The potato cheddar, pierogi ruskie were my favorite two. they were creamy and had good flavor. The Jamaican Jerk sweet potato was spicy, in my opinion it was so spicy that it drowned out any other flavor. the roasted garlic & rosemary was just okay, tasted exactly like it was described. and the apple, fennel Leek was pleasantly sweet. Overall, I believe that i hyped this place up in my mind. I left rather disappointed.

Yelp
Love the pierogis and trivia was a blast! I highly recommend the staff works so hard and was so much more than I was expecting. The service is great and the ambiance is chill. I enjoy the updated menus and trying new pierogis. The latkes are also good.

Yelp
We stopped to eat at Pierogi Mountain after hearing great things about it, and unfortunately left a little disappointed. The ambiance is a cozy, tavern style feel with a bar and a good amount of seating. The service was friendly, but took a little long. As for the food, we ordered every pierogi off the weekly menu as well as Hungarian Poutine and everything was just... alright. The unique flavors made it a fun experience to try each but ultimately nothing was delicious.
