Just spent a week here with with my husband and 2 teenage boys, stayed in a 2 bed appartment, this is just as we expected. It was clean lots of space balcony was large views were lovely. Yes there is a hill upto the appartment but we knew this when booking, was a little noisy during the nights people enjoying themselves "same wherever you stay in Benidorm" we left a deposit of 200 euros which was returned 10 mins after checking out with no issues. We had a lovely week made easier by staying in a lovely appartment.

Really enjoyed our stay here, room was great, clean/tidy/modern. Loved the shuttle bus and access to hotel pool too. Location was good and the views from the apartment were amazing. However we checked out on the 16th October which was 8 working days ago now and still haven’t received our €200 deposit refund which is disappointing.

I stayed 9 nights and literally just checking out now. After some reviews, I was apprehensive of what to expect. |Worth noting that the apartment block is separate from the main hotel - P&V Benidorm East. The corner you have to walk round can be slippy and the stairs are steep. Checking in must be done at the hotel, then you're left to walk round and find where you need to be. Better signs would be useful here. As well as better directions when leaving the transfer coach. |Paid the deposit in cash, keep hold of the receipt. It took less than 10 minutes to get it back when checking out. A member of staff checked the room first. I had taken a video of the apartment as I left in case of any errors, using the TV as date/time stamp. |But overall, absolutely no issues whatsoever. |Yes, it's not ideal for anyone who struggles walking but that is noted when you book. The shuttle bus is every 20 minutes to/from the beach. There's a decent supermarket about 5 minutes away with all your basics. |You're about 15-20 walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. |I was on the 12th floor, didn't hear much noise - a couple of arguments but nothing too disturbing. |The pool area is small but you can use the main hotel facilities if you want the short walk round the corner. |The vending machines are helpful in a pinch, but difficult to use and expensive. The apartment is basic and clean. There's a coffee machine - L'Or pods, microwave, full fridge, dishwasher and oven. Basic cutlery and dishes. I took a dish towel and basic cleaning stuff from home - a small cleaning pack was provided but wouldn't have cleaned much. |The main thing I'd suggest would be a welcome pack - coffee, water, juice fruit, bread - adjustable to visitors needs and perhaps a payable extra on arrival

Stayed here a few times, location-wise it's a bit of a walk back from town which should be obvious but still surprises people apparently. There is a free shuttle bus that runs from the hotel next door (Benidorm East) down to near the market/Burger King, which runs 10:00 - 14:00 and 17:20 - 20:20 The rooms are fine, nothing spectacular but they do the job. Blackout blinds work brilliantly and the shower has great pressure. Washing machine is a bonus especially when travelling light. Breakfast at Benidorm East was good, fried food a little hit and miss but the fruit/salad/bread/cheese/meats etc. are very nice. Coffee and juice were decent. Did take over a week to get my deposit money back, which isn't ideal but they do take cash or credit card as well if you'd rather keep the balance on a debit card. Overall good, would stay again. Definitely worth taking a trip to the top floor for the view as well!

We have recently returned from our 4th visit to this hotel and yet again have had a fantastic time away.||Upon arrival the welcome from the staff was warm and friendly as ever.||We were allocated apartment 25E and the views were incredible. Having stayed here previously we were aware of the €200 deposit, which we chose to pay in cash and got it back immediately following room inspection, and also of the need to take our rubbish to the bins before vacating the room. The room as always offered everything you could need; bedroom with plenty of storage space, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry room, lounge and a huge balcony (we always pay for panoramic view room).||We used the pool and communal areas at Benidorm East which were always immaculately clean, with friendly staff throughout.||On one evening my fiancé encountered a young lad who had picked up a nasty injury to his leg (in an accident off site), we tried to help him but it was obvious this was quite serious, my fiancé alerted the hotel staff who were excellent, they showed genuine concern for his wellbeing and were quick to help in comforting him and assessing his state of need before calling an ambulance (he had been treated at a local clinic but clearly needed a greater level of care). We all stayed with him until the ambulance arrived and the staff were very helpful in explaining the situation to the ambulance crew. It would have been very easy for the hotel staff to have considered this not to be their problem but they were exceptionally professional and caring throughout.||We really enjoy our stays at this hotel, the location is close enough to the strip to be walkable (although we do get a taxi back at the end of the night/morning) but is far enough out of the busy area to be peaceful.||We can’t understand the negative reviews of this hotel, we will definitely return again!

On a big hill & lots of stairs and not working lifts. Nice little pool area, bit dirty, shaded for at least the whole morning + more, only 16 sun beds to 34 floors hosting 4 apartments on each floor. Hotel across the road has lots more sun beds but gets very cramped, everyone’s sitting on top of eachother and again a lot of sporadic shade. 4 lifts, only 2 working so you would spend a good 10-15 minutes (on busier periods) waiting for a lift and there was no apology/note or effort to fix these. Apartments themselves were a great size, with a good size balcony, was just dirty inside and not cleaned thoroughly. We had no hot water, bathrooms are very outdated and a extremly small shower itself making it hard to actually wash in without drenching the whole shower room. Easy to get a taxi to the beach, town or where you want to be at a very reasonable cost. Checkout is 10am and we asked for late check out the day we arrived and they said no so be prepared to wait around all day. Shower/changing area for your checkout day is the swimming pool inside which again is not the best and they provide you with nothing. 5-10 minutes walk to a small super market.

Great experience at the Horizon Hotel, and far exceeded our expectations for the price. The views were great. The apartment was clean and everyone was very friendly. We were on the 21st floor and never had trouble waiting for a lift as I had read on previous reviews. The beach is about 15-20 min walk but there are bars and restuarants all the way down so we liked to stop at Uncle Rons and have a drink and then carry on. A taxi back from the main strip was 6 euros or from the old town was 7 euros. However out of an 8 night stay we only got 2 taxis back and walked it. It helped sober us up from the bars out :). We stayed in one night as we had a long day walking and did not have any issues with noise. We payed £200 on a credit card on day of arrival and it was already back by the time i landed in the UK.

We honestly loved our holiday here. Rooms were perfect, amazing view, only issue with hotel itself is the location as it’s at the top of a massive hill. Apart from this, i have a massive issue with deposit. When we left we made sure our room was spotless, all rubbish bagged up, and no damages whilst we were there. We paid a 200€ deposit which i never received back, and after emailing them got no response . Room was perfect when we left and we caused no issues therefore should have received our deposit back (paid on card and told 5-7 days which we have waited). Will not be returning due to this condition
