We wanted to get out of the house and take a day drive. Google suggested Pig Trail and when I looked it up on Google Maps, it suggested the cafe, as well. It was a beautiful drive thru the Ozarks and the famous Hooshburger was fantastic!!! The owner was welcoming and personable. Highly recommend!!

Google
I love their burgers and fried pickles. Sweet tea on the weekends only but it's so good. There mushrooms are homemade. You have got to try this place. It's a one-of-a-kind experience and you'll want to have it again and again.

Google
We really enjoyed our dinner here! The patty melt was our favorite and the bacon cheeseburger was delicious as well. The onion rings were just right, not too greasy, just the right amount of crunch. Super fast service and friendly employees. It's a pretty drive to get here and we'll worth the drive from NWA. Recommend!

Such a cute and quaint little Cafe, which is also an old time style gas station and convenient store. The food was delicious and the staff was, very friendly! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Google
We were pleased to have eaten here twice in the last month. Was happy to see the kitchen was open on New Years Day. Hooshburgers are what keeps us coming back. Going to have to head up soon for the Sunday special.

Google
Cute, vintage, small town country establishment with nice people who can make good food. Only thing is the hours posted on Google may change as it's a small business.

Yelp
Nice place to stop for fresh made lunch while exploring the Arkansas hills. The food and service was great. Nice country store atmosphere.

Yelp
This was the best burger I have had in a long time. Taste like the dairy bar that was by our house when I was growing up. Homestyle fries were so delicious! Service was great! We will definitely be back when we come through that way.

Yelp
Finally stopped here after YEARS of recommendations from my friend that we visit a few times a year. It was a Tuesday afternoon in winter, so not crowded. Service was great. Hooshburger lived up to the hype. Great seasoning! Wonderful fries and onion rings too. Glad we split the burger, as there's no way I could have eaten the whole thing.

Yelp
Crosses has accomplished what we tried to do with our authentic English fish & chips food truck last year - serve food that didn't rely on salt for flavor. The Brits in Bentonville loved us, but the Americans didn't get it. Then we meet this Persian guy on the Pig Trail and he's got the whole process down pat. The locals love him, and we mean older couples and kids all coming and going while we were there, having a quick chat and a friendly word. The food was tasty, no salt required. Eddie loved his fried mushrooms and bacon-cheese burger. I asked if the French fries were cut in the kitchen or from frozen and the owner said if I wanted cut fries, he'd cut them. They were awesome! Drinks came from the cooler and since I never get any dessert because they're all made with whey, I picked mine from the snack aisle on the store side. Works for me. :)

Yelp
Sometimes some of the best food is where you least expect it. We were out for a drive in the Ozarks and just before we lost service we found a Pigs Trail Cafe on a list of the best diners in Arkansas and it just so happened we were near Elkins. This place is a gem. It's a combination of a grocery store, gas station, and diner all in one. The food is outstanding! I had the Hooshburger and my wife had the bacon cheeseburger. Now the Hooshburger is inspired by the chef/owner and is a blend of Persian spices. They just happen to blend perfectly with the burger patty and makes for a mouth watering treat. The bacon burger is delicious as well with the bacon providing the perfect finish to the burger. Finally the onion rings are amazing! I tend to hate onion rings because the onions never stay in place but somehow Pigs Trail figured out how to keep them in place. The drive out there is gorgeous and the food as well as the service made the trip even better. Don't pass this place up by any means!

Yelp
It doesn't look like much from the outside, or the inside really, but really good food. I had a great burger and my wife a good salad. Excellent handcut fries. The owner is very nice and friendly and provides efficient service. Well worth the visit. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Place is a little bit of a dive but the staff is friendly. The bathrooms pretty much stay out of order and the soda machine is perpetually broken. Try the hooschburger! It's pretty darn good and the fried mushrooms are fresh not frozen. Great place for hunters and bikers.

Yelp
Crosses Cafe, home of the famous Hooshburger is a place that everyone should visit at one point in their lives. It has inspired t shirts and even a song (check it out at Hawkzilla.com).
