It was a quick, kinda steep walk from the bottom of the steps, but the view from the top was well worth it! If you stay up on Jerome st you will already be at the top!

Great views, nice steep hill "stairs" to get your heart rate up!

For a 5-minute experience you can't go wrong! Tip: If you don't walk to walk up, just drive to the top and enjoy the view :)

Super cool & quick walk up the "steps" to look down at the city. If you're in the area and have about 5-10 minutes to spare, I'd recommend stopping here because why not! It's fun. :)

We visited the Pigeon Steps in Astoria during winter long weekend—a quick, moderate climb that took less than 10 minutes. While there was snow around, the steps were clear, making it an easy walk. The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The golden light over Astoria and the peacefulness of having the spot all to ourselves made it unforgettable. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

I'm pretty sure it's one of the best-kept secrets in Astoria; beautiful views on a nice day in a very nice neighborhood.

First, the view is amazing. That said, I was it entirely confident walking down the stairs so the view may have been wasted. I learned that you need a specific step technique- apparently like a pigeon. I am not a pigeon. Each step has a rim and I was incorrectly trying to stay within the rim by stepping sideways. I hope to return to give these another run. I was glad I tried and I had fun. Walk down with someone, hold hands. Pause for the view.

A fun way to get your steps in. Be forewarned that pigeon steps are an architectural term, these are not actually stairs. So if it's been raining be a little careful to not slip! Gorgeous view at the top.
