Piggy Smalls

This review is dedicated to the amazing owner and our server Christopher. My family had a dissatisfied experience at their other restaurant which prompted me to reach out to management. The owner personally followed up with me, resolved the issue and invites my entire family to this other restaurant of his, Piggy Smalls. He had Christopher server us for the night and Christopher was amazing and attentive. We were served with multiple dishes. The taste was great. But what made my family satisfied was how accommodating they were the entire night. Bringing dish after dish and explaining what the dishes were, Christopher was very friendly and knowledgeable with 17 yrs of restaurant experience. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all tourists who would like to get good food and good service

Had an amazing experience here. The service was great, the food was amazing! The Beef Brisket Pho French Dip was so good. Highly recommend it, it was delicious. Super filling and flavourful. The crispy broccoli and the chicken sandwich was real good too. Definitely try this place out! The cocktails were great too.

Creative Vietnamese food served in a relaxed upbeat setting. The food overall was good, the service friendly, the atmosphere jubilant but were there some misses, yeah. The hash browns with salmon were good, I really enjoyed the pickle vegetables that came on top. The dumplings with cheese were ok just a bit messy on execution. The wings were a solid entry, crispy, juicy, sour and sweet. It’s everything you want in a wing dish. Now the banh mi and pho combo was probably the worst versions of those dishes I’ve ever had in my life. The pork sandwich had bland meat and soggy bread. And the pho was overly salty and I’m salt fan. There was no way I could keep eating the noodles I paid extra for. The churro French toast was phoned in. Good but minimum effort. Overall the service was good and I had a good time hanging out with some friends, it’s just the food didn’t hold up.

The dishes at Piggy Smalls are totally unique. Every dish we had was great. Even my picky 6 year old finished the entire kid's pasta dish. We had the crispy cheese dumplings which was a totally OG spin on the traditional ramen shop gyoza. The chopped chicken liver toast was a really good starter and I don't even eat liver. The sirloin cap steak was perfectly cooked and the included salad was a perfect pairing. The uni, anchovy, and garlic spaghetti was also popular at our table. A little pricey, but overall an excellent meal.

Fantastic upscaled Fusion Vietnamese cuisine in a casual setting. Servers were all great, food for the most part was excellent . The "cheese dumplings" were a tad underwhelming - just gyoza which, after being steamed, are pan fried in cheese until the cheese burns - but everything else was incredibly delicious (it's so hard to get uni pasta where I'm from!) and I would recommend this spot wholeheartedly.

Invited by a friend and his family for dinner. It was a set manu for total of eight course meal. The waiter told us the table was not ready for us with most polite manner and voice! We(total of 17 of us) was seated at the outside booth! All the dishes from the starter to desert was wonderful and tasty! Also the portions are big and well seated! We have nothing to complain but praise.

So there is good and there is bad parts of this visit. Made a reservation because this place gets super busy, so we went shopping and got there a few minutes early, when we checked in it was as if the reservation made no difference, I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. We sat down shortly after but the nonsense and attitude started the night off poorly. We looked over the menu and decided on a few things, the wings ended up being ok, I ordered the Bolognese and it was lacking. The server was less than attentive and we just weren't impressed. I was expecting a more expansive pork filled menu but it just wasn't there. Idk maybe the stars just weren't aligned for this visit. I think I'd go back for another try and see if things are better next menu change.

Great food, service and location. Plenty of parking. We sat outside with no reservations. Please make one if you want to ensure a spot inside. Nice outside though. The Brussel sprouts were awesome....definitely coming back to try other dishes...
