Pikes Peak is an incredible place to visit with family. The drive up is beautifully scenic, with sweeping mountain views at every turn. Once you reach the peak, the view is absolutely breathtaking — it truly feels like you’re standing on top of the world. You may feel a little light‑headed at the summit due to the high altitude, but it’s mild and passes quickly. Totally worth it for the experience. The visitor center is a nice bonus too, offering a warm spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, a memorable and family-friendly adventure that I’d highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this experience! Beautiful at the top! If you are a sea level person I suggest bringing an oxygen bottle.

The true beauty of the world. Such an incredible time. Take it slow, make the pull offs. Have a jacket for the top! Dropped 40-50 degrees on our day in mid May. Whatever you do, don't miss this view.

We did drove Pikes peak highway. It was beautiful and nerve racking at the same time! Only got to about 12,000 feet and then decided to turn around. I’m glad we went! There are places to stop and look around. Definitely a must do if you’re in the area!

If you are afraid of heights stay away. If you are not afraid of heights be prepared to be scared. Its beautiful but terrifying.

Beautiful scenery with lots of reasonably priced activities for everyone. Definitely recommend this area if you have the opportunity to go.

I now understand Rocky Mountain High. It would be a lost to not go to the top. I also am glad that I didn't drive up because of the effects of oxygen deprivation. Overall, trip to top on cog rail was worth it.
