How to plan a multi-generational holiday - SilverKris

"A family safari reserve where a multigenerational group experienced a truly magical wildlife encounter: during a game drive a lion walked by, prompting the author's daughter to beam with delight and the mother to show a quiet exhilaration, and the two connected over the sighting. The moment highlights how guided safaris can create powerful shared memories across generations and deepen family bonds during a broader road-trip itinerary." - Sim Ee Waun

A fantastic experience in the wilderness. Thanks to our tour guide Martin, we were able to see many different animals – large and small, flying, swimming, and walking. Martin does his job with heart, love, and expertise. Thank you for an unforgettable safari. <->

Our visit to the park proved to be a truly remarkable and unforgettable experience. Despite the anticipated odds of encountering the "big five," the wildlife we observed brought us immense joy and satisfaction. We were fortunate enough to witness a variety of animals, including a lioness, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, elephants, zebras, warthogs, and even a crocodile. The entire experience was simply amazing. Furthermore, our transportation was expertly handled by Bruno, the tour driver from the transport company, who ensured our comfort and convenience from our hotel and back. Considering the comprehensive nature of the experience, it was undoubtedly worthwhile, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. We made our reservation through the national park's official website.

Incredible Morning Game Drive at Pilanesberg We went on the morning safari in July and had to be at Sun Central by 6:15 a.m. — absolutely freezing, full-on winter, but so worth it! Despite the cold, the experience was unforgettable. We spotted elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impalas, bulls, and even a lion in the distance. One of the most surreal sights was the “smoking rivers” in the early morning mist — pure bliss. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging, making the whole drive even more special. Tip: Dress warmly, bring gloves, and don’t miss the sunrise over the bush — it's truly magical.

Beautiful views. You can get good sightings of Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, & Antelopes. Only lucky ones get to see the big cats, chances are pretty less. Nice lunch offered by MoAfrika tours.

If you a looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing activity over the weekend this is the place. The only con is the potholes but understandable considering the type of environment and even an entry level hatchback is able to handle both the tar and gravel road. The entrance fee is also reasonable for someone looking for budget friendly things to do

One of the best experiences in my life. We were very lucky and saw nearly every animal, it was super cool! The guide, who told us to call him T., was an incredibly skilled and experienced person, who knew all the habits of local animal and informdd us about them while prioritizing our safety.

Access to the park is via terrible roads with potholes and little signage. The Bakgatla gate to the park had no WiFi, so I could get in for free. Some of the surfaced roads in the park have many potholes so it's best to drive slowly as one should. I had a great time on just one day with many brilliant sightings of Rhino and elephants. The hide at Malatse dam is a must for birders. At Mankwe dam I saw elephants swimming across from one side to the other which was totally amazing.

Awesome adventure. Saw so many animals right from the start. Variety. Some roads needs majour repairs so just be awake when you drive there. Also watch out for the game viewers. They drive like crap and speed. Also when there is a sighting a lot of them park in such a way that you cant pass them and block the sight. Happened atleast 3 times over the two days
