Location: The restaurant is located right next to Kaunas Castle, making it an ideal stop for visitors exploring the historical area. Easily accessible and surrounded by a beautiful view. Terrace and ambiance: The large outdoor terrace offers an excellent view of the castle and its surroundings. The indoor area is smaller, and there is also an outdoor bar, although it doesn’t seem to operate at all times. Menu and drinks: The menu is simple, with a wide selection of cocktails. We only ordered Coca-Cola, which was served without lemon and ice. Prices: The prices are affordable by European standards, especially considering the touristy location. Service: The staff was polite and responsive. At first, it wasn’t clear if the terrace was open, but we were quickly noticed and attended to. Cleanliness: The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, with separate facilities for men and women, and an accessible toilet for people with disabilities. Conclusion: Pilies Sodas is a pleasant stop in a scenic location with friendly staff and fair prices. While the drink service could have been slightly better, the overall experience was positive and welcoming.

Very nice terrace. Had a nice cocktail and some nachos after a walk in the neighbourhokd. Drinks tasted good, nachos were not bad. Enough choice of food and drinks.

Vegetarian burger is a burger that costs the same but with the meat missing. Staff is very nice, pumpkin soup was absolutely amazing. Great view onto the castle also.

A truly wonderful place! It was my first visit in such Kaunas area and I with to retrieve there again. From the first steps we were greeted and asked if we wish to have comfy (sofa) seats of a table. Turns out that it's a superb place not just for food, gorgeous views but cocktails and shisha too! We retrieted for an alcoholic drinks but let me tell you there teas are lush! Sea buckthorn and winger tea-wow! Meniu was quite impressive: written in English and Lithuanian and prices are quite reasonable. I may have been hunger but food was really good. Oh, and handmade crisps - such fun! Do recommend thins place for multiple occasions but even if you a tourist, don't worry-you won't be mocked with small portions and eating hungry to pay and suck around the Kaunas Castle looking a nearest take-away.

Very good restaurant but prices are a bit expensive. It is locating near by the river. The view is wonderful.

Expensive drinks and food is below every par. For example, the photo shows the cheese platter for 14€
