Never thought we had so much option in this area. Science park, arts village, water park, animal kingdom, lake garden, planatorian. Plan atleast 4hours for watching entire area. Spend more time as per the intrest. Buggies available for less physically fit people or for better time management. Making prior visit plan will help. Management can improve on cleanliness, clarity in announcement to make it better place to visit

Although some services/timings can be made more transparent, the sheer size of the project including the zoo, lake garden, Planetarium, heritage village and house is appreciable..The property is well maintained as well..We couldn't visit the Planetarium as it closes at 2.30 PM which was not informed while booking the tickets..Certainly recommended for a family visit, also it's best to keep aside a whole day to visit each section leisurely..Not sure about food/restaurant facilities as we did not use it

Probably one of the best places to visit in Mangalore. The campus timings are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (closed on Mondays). The Planetarium shows are at 12:00 PM and 2:45 PM — definitely worth attending. The zoo is a must-visit. All places involves quite a bit of walking even if you take the electric buggy. The aquarium, however, is not worth the time. If possible, go for the combined ticket (₹250). Parking costs ₹50 and the buggy ride is ₹50 per person.

A bit far from the city but definitely worth a visit. As we were short of time could visit only zoo, planetarium, traditional house & artisans village. But there is a water park & lake as well for boating. Zoo is a must visit especially for the very exotic birds & snakes. 3d show at the planetarium was awesome. Guthu mane was a beautiful experience but photography isn't allowed inside , you have to pay for it.

It was a good experience although it lacked a few animals and some of the coops were empty or were under maintenance at the time we visited. Overall the place would be fun with friends or family. But Cafe inside the zoo was disappointing, with below average food and an overpriced menu.

Excellent, economical and well maintained place to visit in Mangalore. Buy the combo ticket costing around ₹220 and this should include a full day of tour. Always take the buggy, that's also economical. If you plan to walk, it's just tiring and a waste of time. Entertaining and educational places like planetarium, zoo, boating at the lake, museum and artisans village. Pack food if possible, only one restaurant inside and food is very bad. Better have short eats in outlets than going to the restaurant. Buggy at the zoo is an additional cost, please take that too or you'll have to walk 2.5 kms.

Beautiful place to spend the day with kids. It has a biological park,zoo,lake for boating, science museum & artisan village which is quite interesting. You can walk ,spending 3 to 4 hrs..if not they have battery operated buggy too for a price. All in all,a nice place.

Very well kept place. The artisans place needs to be more happening to make it vibrant and informative
