Wonderful hotel in a wonderful city. The building is beautiful, located close to the city center but in a non-touristy location. The service was impeccable. The rooms are tastefully designed with cute small touches like an old working transistor radio and a complimentary journal. The bed was amazing, super comfortable! And the shower was great too. Couldn't say enough good things about this place! Everyone was so friendly, we were even greeted with complimentary glasses of red wine when we checked in. We kept saying that it felt like we were staying in the home of a family friend, not a hotel. We were also able to catch breakfast here one morning and the food was fantastic - they have a working open kitchen 24/7! Overall, we loved our stay with Pillows and we will definitely stay here again next time we come to visit Amsterdam.

Our stay was amazing! Clean comfortable rooms with luxury amenities. Staff are warm and attentive and food is nice. Our trip was for my partner’s birthday and the staff were incredible and arranged for balloons and a cake to be in the room when we came back from a day out, as well as giving us a free upgrade on our room. Great experience, really recommend!

Such a lovely hotel, will definitely try to stay here again when we come back. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Upon check in rather than being rushed we were told to go sit down, have a complimentary drink in the comfy lounge and then a staff member came to do our check-in. It was effortless and just a nice way to arrive somewhere. The lobby area smells amazing too. We were in one of the smaller rooms on the lower floor (-1 floor). The room was lovely, on the small side, which we did expect by getting the cheapest room, however it was so so nice. I would recommend for a weekend city break, but would say if you have big cases, don't go for this room.

My favorite hotel in Amsterdam! The location is ideal - great restaurants, shopping and the stunning Vondelpark nearby. The hotel is charming - part of the townhouses in the turn-of-the-century neighborhood. The interior is crisp and modern while retaining classical elegance and luxury finishes. The chef was fantastic - invites me to eat at the kitchen while we chatted about travel. The staff bent of backwards to ensure I was happy. The hotel smells like a spa - the rooms are detailed to 5 star level and the toiletries are fantastic. But HANDS DOWN the best feature is the fully stocked complimentary minibar! Will book again and again!

A modern, clean, accommodating stay. I loved my stay here. The rooms are modern with their electronics, and you’re right by Vondelpark. The staff was very friendly and engaging with asking us if we needed anything. The breakfast was very solid as well.

A comfortable and beautiful hotel on a quiet street, just off a main road in the old part of town. A short walk from the park too. Views from the restaurant are of lush gardens from the hotel and surrounding houses. The small lounge is a series of partitioned areas which leave the space open, but still good nooks for a quiet private drink. The whole place is so relaxing. Service is exceptional. Not a fault with this hotel. Recommended

Good location. Good room. Light front desk which creates ambiance. Windows are locked 🔐 and no car park so you have to wait min 1h to get back your car (price is not the same as it q&a in booking).

Wonderful welcome on a rainy Amsterdam day, warm scent of lavender throughout the hotel. The room was small but modern with a lovely view overlooking gardens. Staff were very attentive and made our stay very pleasant.
