Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Ter Borch

This was our second stay at this hotel and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Zwolle has a nice city centre with small shops and restaurants, and the hotel is wonderful with lovely staff. The room was clean, airy, and pleasantly cool, with a large comfortable bed. This time we had dinner at the restaurant, which was equally good. We almost wished that we had chosen five courses instead of three :) The dessert was truly the best dessert I've ever had! We can absolutely recommend it.

Stayed here for the night whilst visiting Zwolle and had a great stay.||||Arrival to the hotel you are greeted by the host who will offer you a welcome drink to enjoy whilst the check in process is done, once ready, you go directly to your room where the luggage is already waiting for you. The room was very spacious with large comfortable bed, living area and all the amenities you’d expect. The bathroom offered a large walk-in shower and changing area, with toiletries available.||||All the staff are attentive and welcoming, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing experience... wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, fantastic food. I will always stay here. I highly recommend it!

I'm giving this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because of a few issues. The room was quite dark but when I worked out how to turn the lights up one kept flickering so I turned it off again. 2 lights in the bathroom didn't work which made it quite dark. I mentioned this at check out and she said we should have said, however, when you're only staying 1 night you don't want maintenance fixing things in your room. I think for an expensive suite these issues should have been fixed before. Also breakfast, which is expensive, offers avocado. When it arrived it was 2 thin slices and hard with 2 thin unripe slices of tomato. Very little bread on offer too. The windows were also being washed so it was a bit strange eating whilst there were people outside looking in. Obviously it needs to happen but at 9.30 during breakfast service was unfortunate. HOWEVER, the room was gorgeous as was the bathroom with generous amounts of toiletries. Spotlessly clean. All the staff were absolutely charming, friendly and helpful. The sauna was great and we had a delicious dinner. Super hotel. I highly recommend it. A treat.

Stunning! The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Staff greeted us upon arrival, took our bags to the room and gave us complimentary drinks on the terrace. Our room is spacious, clean and great amenities. I like that there are small on lights when you go to the bathroom at night. Amazing rain shower! The location is perfect: close to the train station and city center.

This hotel was amazing. From the moment we arrived until the time we had to check out, we felt like we were part of a warm family. Every member of the team was polite and friendly and solicitous of our needs and wants. The room was large with comfortable bed and nice sheets. The room was quiet located in the new section of the hotel. The restaurant was very nice, good food and nice wine list. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in or around this area.

The staff here is truly outstanding. They were warm and welcoming and so helpful with all of our questions about the area and the Netherlands. The room and the property are lux and very comfortable. I paid for the deluxe room upgrade for the bathtub and was absolutely not disappointed! The room is thoughtfully stocked and quiet. The breakfast was also delicious and, again, outstanding service. It’s very close to the train station and a short walk from the old town. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay. Perfect location to explore Zwolle. A great onsite restaurant and off-road parking.
