Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at Pilot Amphora. It is a real gem, run by the wonderful Panos and his team. The hotel is modern and clean and maintained to a high standard. We were on a half board package. The food was excellent with an amazing fresh spread at breakfast and high quality 5 course meals in the evening. There was a lovely peaceful atmosphere around the pool area, which had plenty comfortable loungers and seating. Highly recommend.

We have just come back from a 2 week stay at this Fantastic Boutique Hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and were taken to our room quickly and provided with snacks and water. Breakfast is amazing, freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, great eggs menu. Lovely fresh produce to choose from. Staff are amazing, attentive and friendly. Rooms cleaned everyday. Bed was so comfy, shower amazing. Great gym, fantastic pool. We had dinner one evening at the hotel and it was superb. Not sure I could have coped with 4 courses every night! We used the sister hotel sun loungers on the beach too (it’s a lovely 20 min walk along the beach, but they do provide a shuttle service if you don’t want to walk). Near to main square with lots of tavernas nearby. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Can’t wait to go back.

This hotel deserves its five star reviews. ||I stay at five star hotels several times a month with my job and have a solid understanding of what good service looks like. ||This hotel looks freshly built with all areas maintained to a very high standard. Extremely high cleanliness standards were also noted. We were lucky enough to stay in a pool room which was absolutely needed in the lovely hot sun. When the sun moved we simply went outside our front door to sit at the pool in the comfortable beds. ||Lovely high quality local toiletry’s in the bathroom added that little extra special touch with big bottles of water delivered each day ||The staff were always on hand with a smile but not overbearing like some hotels. The Manager pre empts your every need and acts on it again without being over bearing. He made our leaving day so pleasant and took the stress out of travelling home later that evening…thank you.||Really good choice of fresh food at breakfast all served with a smile. The staff even remembered our coffee choice without asking. ||The five course menu really was delicious and all served impeccably by the staff. ||We will definitely return to your hotel in the future and can’t recommend it highly enough. ||Σας ευχαριστώ / Thank you for a wonderful stay from Simon and Jason.

We had the most amazing stay during early September and highly recommend the Pilot Amphora. The staff are so friendly and generous from the manager through to all the catering and cleaning staff. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere. The manager offers to give a shuttle run to the sister hotel where there is full use of their lovely facilities too, with a fabulous beach and free loungers. He also arranged for us to use the facilities at their other new hotel called Oros Hotel about 15 minutes up the road where we could enjoy the equally lovely beach at Episcopi. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a truly fabulous holiday. A big big thank you to the team. We would love to come back again.

This was my first time in Greece and this place met all my expectations. Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Catered to all my needs. Modern and clean rooms, clean gym, pools and enough loungers. Great breakfast and fine dining dinner. |We also had access to their sister hotel which is a big resort where we had access to their private beach, spa, entertainment and restaurants on site. ||The team here were lovely and did everything to cater to us. I notified them about my late transfer on my final day and the manager offered us a late check out free of charge! ||This is definitely a repeat destination and will be back when I next get the chance! Highly recommend.

This is one of the most relaxing hotels I have been to. The service is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is as calming as it can be. I have never been able to relax this much at a hotel. We are definitely going to come back soon! I can only recommend coming here if you are looking for a relaxing time away with no pressure in exploring anything around you. If, however, you'd want to explore things, that is no problem at all as well. The perfect hotel with everything that you could possibly need!

He was not only extremely professional but also very approachable, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It’s rare to see such dedication, and it really elevated the whole experience. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat. Dining here was a real pleasure. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and relaxing, but it is the people and the service that make it truly exceptional. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Crete!

We stayed at the Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel in August this year and really enjoyed the experience. We stayed in an Indulge Room with Private Pool. The room itself offered real luxury, with a spacious and modern design. The facilities were also excellent, in particular the rainfall shower and quiet but efficient air conditioning. The private pool was a lovely addition and something I'd really recommend if you can afford it. It is 1.35m in depth and kept very clean so it's perfect for relaxing in during the stay. It also felt very private, despite the close proximity to other rooms. The hotel also has a large shared pool in the middle of the complex which is available for all guests. We selected the Bed and Breakfast option and couldn't find any fault with the offering. The fresh fruit was particularly impressive. We did opt to eat in the restaurant one evening and were impressed with the offering and service. The food was well refined but still with a Greek feel. As the hotel is very close to the centre of Georgioupoli, it is easy to walk into the town during the day or evening or to walk to the beach which takes around 5 minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Pilot Amphora and staff were always very welcoming and helpful. If you are looking to relax and unwind then this could be a great option for you.
