Delightful bistro in Brasov’s old town. The veal stew and goulash soup are very hearty, with very lean meat and excellent flavors. The bread is a wonderful whole grain loaf that comes with the cheese plate. Service is prompt and courteous, and our server was helpful in selecting dishes. And . . . Excellent quality tea!

Very nice, apartment/studio like rooms with all required amenities. The location is excellent, very close o the Black Church and the City Hall (central square). Rooms are very clean and very spacious.||Above all, the hosts were very caring and interested in us having a good stay, more than I have experienced at any hotel.||||Definitely recommended.

Absolutely incredible food and service at Pilvax! We had the heritage tomato salad to start then the dumplings and chicken (with potatoes and spinach), finished off with the rhubarb cake and drunken pear. Everything was exceptional including the wine that was paired with the meal by our server. Service was seamless, friendly and knowledgeable. If we were staying in Brasov longer we would definitely be back!

Nice venue, located in the old center of the town on the walking street. Tasty food, great service, decent prices.

An elegant traditional place with soul jazz and blues music, a quiet vibe, great food and Hungarian wines, beyond the wooden terrace. Just perfect

This was a surprise find on my most recent trip to Brasov. Maybe it's been there a while but it was new to me. We stopped to browse the menu and were pleasantly surprised to see 2 fully vegan options on the menu. The lentil & veggie loaf, and mushroom barley risotto. Both were delicious, seasoned perfectly and well priced. An added bonus was the Mustata beer, from a local brewery. It was tasty and rich. The service was friendly and the guy (owner?) was really friendly and his passion for his restaurant totally shined through during our brief conversation.

Food cooked with passion. Ingredients whose flavors you can taste individually. You rarely find restaurants like this. Bravo.
