Pimento Lodge Resort

We are just home from a very special week at Pimento Lodge. Owners Kate and Lloyd are the loveliest people and we will treasure the laughs and conversation we had. This is a truly beautiful spot - peaceful, with birds, butterflies and other wildlife in the lovely, well-kept gardens (take binoculars!). Rooms are spacious and very clean with spectacular sea views. Salt water pool was lovely too. Thank you K&L, our bodies and souls are rested and nourished! X

What can I say ? 10 stars wouldn’t be enough .. The place is wonderful and the room is fantastic with the great view and quiet BUT … The most important is Lloyd and Kate the owners who are such fantastic persons, so kind , so helpful , so nice … We hardly wish to come back I already miss you ❤️

Beautiful place immersed in nature. Felt like a botanical garden overlooking the sea. Definitely a hideaway haven.

Our stay at Pimento Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Llod and Mrs. Kate are such kind and attentive individuals, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay with their interesting and gentle conversations. The entire staff is helpful and friendly, the accommodations are impeccably clean, and the overall infrastructure is fantastic. The pool area and rooms offer stunning ocean views, and the surroundings are embraced by nature. We highly recommend this place! We hope to see you again soon

If you're looking for a true Jamaican experience while visiting the island you could not ask for a better place to stay than Pimento Lodge. Kate and Lloyd are warm and welcoming. They are truly like your best friends that you visit. We spent many mornings and evening chatting like we've known each other for years. They were so helpful as well, from arranging a guide for rafting down the Rio Grande to putting us in touch with a mechanic when we had an issue with our rental car. ||||The lodge sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean with breathtaking views but is just a short walk away from the beach. The room itself was bright, spacious and very clean. The grounds were nicely kept with a garden of fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs. Breakfasts and dinners were wonderful, from the food to the conversations. I feel lucky that we've found this gem of a place and will definitely return!

We really enjoyed this hidden treasure location in the mountains. This beautiful hotel has been build by the owners (Lloyd and Kate). It has 8 rooms and can host around 20 guests. We enjoyed the pool with a stunning ocean view. Over and above the breakfast the owners offered us a self cooked dinner every night. Most is cooked organically straight from the garden. The bar offered a variety of drinks to accommodate dinner. The warm hearted owners provided us a serine ambiance to recharge and relax. ||This location is great to explore the east part of the island: Range Falls, Boston Beach, Frenchman’s Cove (our favorite beach) Rio Grande rafting and various mountain hikes. |We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this part of the island.

My family and I stayed at Pimento Lodge for 8 days In January 2024 - what a wonderful experience. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, I found myself exploring the gardens and watching/listening to the birds each day. The view of the ocean from the lodge's high vantage point was a great start to each day and the ocean breeze at night made for some excellent sleeps. We had hours of fun in the pool with our 4-year old daughter and enjoyed our breakfasts each morning which included superb coffee, fruits, and local dishes such as ackee and saltfish. The walk into town each day was a great way to see Long Bay, a beautiful area with a very mellow vibe. Above all, we got to spend time with the owners of Pimento Lodge, Llyod and Kate, a very sweet and loving couple who made us feel right at home. Kea, Seth and Sonya miss you. We will be back one day!

An ideal location for exploring the East Coast of the Island. Pimento Lodge is idyllic with a superb location above the Caribbean giving exceptional views. The rooms are comfortable and clean - each with a balcony/terrace facing the sea and all with aircon when the heat and humidity are high, but the gentle breeze due to the elevation is often all that is needed. The restaurant/dining area is a gem.... the excellent hosts (Kate and Lloyd) prepare superb local dishes with many ingredients sourced from the gardens of the hotel and there is a bar to provide the drinks. We spent a few of our evenings chatting away with Lloyd and Kate after our meal and they can give advice and contacts regarding the local excursions and places of interest (the river rafting was an example - their contact here, Steve, is the man to captain your raft). Other places nearby (apart from the beaches) are Porto Antonio, Boston Bay (home of Jerk) and Reach Falls||The location, local ambience and owners - 5 stars all round. Definitely recommended as we had a great stay - thanks Kate and Lloyd
