Pimiento Tea Room

My husband and I visited pimento tea room for their Sunday funday tea service and we will definitely be back! The food was perfectly seasoned and had complex flavors and textures. They had a delightful selection of teas, cocktails, mocktails, and seasonal offerings. Highlights were the sherried tomato soup, smoked salmon savory bite, rosemary cheddar scone, yuzu tartlette, and the candied apple slices. The decor is eclectic and super funky and it's great to see a southern restaurant with my brand of hospitality!

Cute little place. I live nearby and it was my first time there. Service was on point the whole way through--hostess to server. Menu was creative and the ambience was nice. I wanted to love the food but it was a little underwhelming IMO, although I'd certainly give it another try. The grits were cooked ok but didn't really have any flavor and weren't seasoned--just bland. Shrimp were just ok as well--overcooked and not seared hard to really highlight the blacken seasoning. It was kind of all just one (small) bowl of underwhelming flavors and similar textures. Oktoberfest was tasty. Pretzel biscuit was a unique addition. Confused by the menu's description of German potato salad using sweet potatoes. Sangria was not good at all and had no fruit and tasted really watered down.... Can't remember exact price was it was way overpriced as well. Tea set up was awesome though! Loved all the accoutrements and intentionality there. Please serve the food on regular sized plates. It's hard for some (mature) people to cut things without food flying everywhere.

Wow, the Pimento Tea Room was an unexpected surprise! The beautiful historic house in which it is located provides a charming and unique atmosphere which comes with an extensive and gourmet menu. The portions are generous and jam packed with goodness! We will be back!

This is the coolest restaurant I've been to in a long time. I sat at the bar and the bartender was beyond friendly and took really good care of me. The place is well run, quick service. I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate which was amazing. It was like eating picnic food, great flavors, pork was tender and had a great sauce on it. Better BBQ than I've had at some BBQ places in the area. The potato salad that comes with the pork was like eating your grandmother's potato salad at a picnic and you get chili crisp pickles which added some nice heat to the meal. I also ordered some Feng Shui tea and they serve you a big french press full of tea that you can pour for yourself. The atmosphere is very relaxed and reminds me of being in Europe maybe in France or Greece. Definitely a great spot to check out! Worth every penny! The friendliness of everyone from the staff to the diners is top level kindness! This is a perfect spot for a date night so if you're looking to take your partner out somewhere nice, this is the perfect place for that! They have live music every Saturday and lots of dessert! You can sit inside or outside!

Cute artisinal tea shop with great food and outdoor seating. We had the hot cider honeybush tea and it was very flavourful! The Mac and cheese was good but the pumpkin gnocchi was the best thing we had! Lots of great fall flavors. Definitely a cute place to stop by for the mid afternoon or brunch.

I can’t believe that the watermelon do taste like sashimi with the kick of wasabi! The wasabi had a real kick that you feel it’s a little too much BUT you don’t want to give it out! The wasabi had”cup size” salad is right amount for me because I have too many stuff want to try! The crab chowder Was freshly made from the kitchen. It’s milky and lights. AND everything here is not salty at all! Very healthy and yummy! I highly recommend this place! I found out I had a theme meal: Earl Grey and watermelon! My cocktail was G+green, with the crab chowder, watermelon salad, and watermelon sashimi bowl. Of course you need a pot of Earl Grey in a tea room!

I had a pleasant experience at Pimiento Tea Room. The food was great, and the service was even better. We will definitely come back.

We loved it so much we went back the next day - there was so much on the menu that we wanted to try! Everything was so unique and absolutely delicious, especially the peach penne, scones/butter flight, and the cocktails. The restaurant decor is so fun and eccentric, and the service was top notch.

Food, service, and ambience are all 10/10! I did a shared plate afternoon adventure with my friend. We got the scones (I would recommend the honey and chive butter, she preferred the sweet cinnamon sugar). We also split the French onion Mac and cheese. I love that they use cavatappi (sp? - corkscrews) so the sauce is in and around every noodle. The crisp onions on top provided a perfect crunch! We also split the crab and avocado sandwich with house salad. The house salad dressing was amazing as was the crab and avocado. It was so good I asked for a catering menu for my next event. Thankfully, our amazing service was Gabi, who manages all the catering. Such a great experience on a lovely afternoon.

Thankfully, I had been to the Pimiento Tea Room for lunch before, because if my first experience had been this dinner visit, I likely wouldn't have returned. The décor is absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent. We visited during Christmastime and truly loved the festive decorations. Our drinks were perfect and well-crafted. For dinner, we shared the chowder, which unfortunately was underwhelming--the croutons were the best part. We then ordered the chicken, salmon, and mashed potatoes. The salmon was dry, the chicken was on the bone with very little meat, and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly disappointing. I even took them home hoping I could improve them myself. I will likely return to the Tea Room because I enjoy supporting local businesses and genuinely like their drinks and small bites, but I would not come back for dinner.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem in Holly Springs. It sits in an old house at the end of the town limit...not the Holly Springs limit per se, but the area that most people would walk on the Main Street. It definitely has that tea room flair with lots of wild decorations. Wallpapers with cats and astronauts, snakes hidden in roses, silhouettes of famous people including Homer Simpson and Big Foot. I like it all. The dip du jour was the best part of our meal. They had a pulled pork with cheese and bourbon and Fritos the day we went...it was really good. As was our chai which I would hope they get that right since they are a tea room. They will bring you more hot water if you want to reuse your tea press to squeeze out a little more tea from your leaves. The 10 layer salad was definitely worth it as well, I think the pimiento cheese dressing puts it over the top. I got the seafood nachos and they were just okay--mostly nachos, very little filling . Girlfriend got the quiche and thought it was okay as well. She chose this place for the gluten-free options including the scone which she loved. They clearly indicate on the menu what is gluten free and understand the safety around it. Service was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. We haven't been back yet but we plan on coming once or twice a year to try out the seasonal menus as well as more teas and dip's du jour. I recommend it for smaller, less filling meals such as lunch.

This is the cutest little place with amazing food. They take the tea theme seriously- every cocktail has tea infused in it somehow. I got a white tea that I can't remember the name of (something with a dragon?) and it was lovely. The scones were the best I've ever had, and I loved the choice of butter. If you're not in an afternoon tea mood, please please please get the French onion Mac and cheese. It was to die for (and to rhyme for!). I really enjoyed the live music but if you're sitting in the same room as them, it can be a bit loud if you're trying to talk to someone. I would love to report back about their Sunday tea service one day!

My daughter in law brought me here as part of my birthday celebration. We came during the week in the late afternoon, so not a problem getting in. There were three of us so we got a nice round table with comfy chairs. I got a small salad with veggies in it and it was delicious. I chose the huckleberry tea this time and it really did have a huckleberry flavor! Hard to find unless you are in Montana! We got scones and 3 butters: scallion, blueberry lemon and one for my granddaughter they looked like it had sprinkles in it. Service was amazing and it is such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful experience.

Another great experience for the books. The food tasty and delicious! The service was excellent. The ambience clean and relaxing. This time parking was with ease - nothing like last time. Can't wait to come back for another brunch dining.

The service was fantastic and the place is decorated with a humorous and artistic eye. It is quirky and bold. Loved it! The tea was excellent and the gluten free options were delicious and safely prepared. Some of my food was a little bland...but I will absolutely try again and order differently. I don't think it had anything to do with the preparation--I just like things (pumpkin, for example) a tad spicier.

Went for a girls day, got the mango tea which was delicious! Perfect for summer. My favorite part was the salad and scone as the starter! The scone was 10/10! The small bites and sandwiches were ok, variety of things, a little more unique than your typical tea house. Desserts were great!

Went for Sunday tea! We are vegetarians and had the vegetarian service. Started with a lovely black tea with notes of chocolate and coconut. The scone was delicious and served with fresh cream, jam and blueberry butter. The brunch salad was also tasteful, and I've never had a salad with a tea service before. The tea sandwiches were good, my only wish is that the focaccia egg sandwich was served warm. To me, the savories while good were the least exciting but the grapefruit blue cheese bar was unique! The desserts were very good but slightly underwhelming for an otherwise great tea. The service was great and the space is very cute and I would recommend this to any vegetarian looking for an intimate Sunday brunch tea.

Super cute and trendy restaurant in an old home near DT Holly Springs. We went after a movie on a Saturday night, no reservation and thankfully sat right down. Good amount of options on the food and drink menus. Service was a bit slow, but that's okay with us they have live music on Saturday nights. My husband and I split the Pimento cheese appetizer and we had the flatbread for our meal. Pimento cheese was delicious, and the flatbread was good. I would try something different next time. This place is great for a date night or gals dinner!

Adorable spot in Holly Springs with a unique twist on all things tea. Started off with my go-to cocktail here, G+Tea. It was just ok tonight. For dinner, had the grain bowl and it was great - would absolutely get it again! Ended the night with the Earl Grey Panna Cotta, which was good, but would not get again. Next time, I'd go for the bread pudding, which was the recommendation.

Absolutely loved this little treasure in Holly Springs. So many good options on the menu. Wish I lived closer to try more. A spacious outdoor patio too. The waitperson seemed checked out a bit. But that can happen to us all. Would go back again if ever in Holly Springs again.

We had an absolutely wonderful brunch at Pimiento Tea Room! This place is a must visit with excellent service, food and drinks. Self described as "untraditional" this restaurant offers exactly that through a wonderfully curated experience that will leave you wanting more!

The service is always incredible and the ambiance is unreal. The food and drinks take playful twists on classics, but they always seem to work out.

This tea room is incredibly beautiful. The staff are very professional and friendly. My husband and I felt like we were having Family Tea Hour. The food is wonderful and very well prepared. We have been here twice and look forward to our next visit.

Everything here from the drinks, the tea, the food and the dessert were delicious and 5 plus stars! Skyler provided excellent service and great information about the menu. Decor inside and out is restful, fun, and makes all worries vanish. Loved this place and will return! First visit will not be last. .

Recently moved to the Apex area & was looking for something different. Took my wife & grown daughter here on a Thursday evening. The Pimiento Tea Room is in an older house with unique decor. Of course, they have a great tea selection & scones (quite tasty), but we wanted to try something from the dinner menu. It was very nice to see that the chef has put together a creative menu. If you are looking for the standard menu fare, then this is not the place. But if you are looking for interesting & delicious plates, the Pimiento Tea Room is right for you. My wife, daughter & I all really enjoyed our selections (quesadilla, mac + cheese & cheese melt). My daughter also had a cocktail that she really enjoyed. Our server, Gabby, was everything a server should be: knowledgeable, personable & attentive. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place was great! Service impeccable, thanks to all the staff but particularly our server Ava! Food and drinks were fresh, fast, and flavorful. We also enjoyed the unique and quirky decor. We will be back!!

Disappointed by Lack of Basic Courtesy and Follow-Up I'm writing to share a disappointing experience I had at the Pimiento Tea Room on January 17. I arrived around 12:30 PM with a party of six colleagues. We had been looking forward to dining here and had even notified the restaurant in advance of our plans. Unfortunately, we were never seated--and not because of a long wait, but because we were completely ignored. While I understand the restaurant was busy and there were a couple of groups ahead of us, the hostess did not acknowledge me at all--even as I stood directly in front of her. Instead, she greeted and engaged in a long conversation with guests who had just walked in behind me. She informed them of a 45-minute wait, but said nothing to me--not even a quick "I'll be with you shortly." Feeling overlooked and disrespected, I shared the experience with my group and we decided to leave and dine elsewhere. Afterward, I sent an email to the restaurant to share this feedback directly--but never received a response. That lack of acknowledgment only reinforced the disappointment of the initial encounter. This experience fell far short of the hospitality and courtesy we expected. A simple gesture of recognition during busy times--and a follow-up to guest concerns--can go a long way. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder of how important it is to make all guests feel seen and valued.

It was definitely my cup of tea, but not my husband's. He ordered the cup of chowder and liked it. I ordered the 3 scones with cinnamon butter for us. 2 spirit drinks.. both delicious I'd recommend it for a girls' day lunch date.. not a date with the burger loving husband. Lol.

GLUTEN FREE SCONES. with a wheat allergy it's always nice to see places serving scones that are safe to eat and actually delicious. Servers are attentive. It's not exactly a traditional "tea room" experience but it's still something special. The menu is simple but delicious. This is a favorite place for me and my daughters to visit. The decor is adorable.

I met a customer here for lunch and it was an outstanding choice. Perfect volume level for a conversation and absolutely amazing food! I really enjoyed the eclectic decor.

I was looking for a tea spot and ran across the information for this one. A friend and I went to check it out and had a wonderful time. There is an outside seating option but we chose to be seated inside. The wallpaper in that first room is certainly something. I tried a cocktail and hot tea. My Long Island tea was quite tasty and potent which I appreciated. The Bon Bon Tea was pleasing to me. I really can't pick which one I enjoyed better because both were quite enjoyable. Also, I know the tea is supposed to be the star of the show but those cream scones and the flavored butters were a pleasant surprise. I may or may not have ordered an additional scone before I was done with my first one lol. It was nice that they have a butter flight so you could try 3 different butters for $1.50. My favorite butter would have to be a tie between the honey scallion and the cinnamon brown sugar. I tried the sausage balls as well and I probably would not get them again. They were just okay. All in all, it was a great experience and I'll definitely return.

TLDR: Beautiful tea house serving appetizers, high-quality teas, lunch, and dinner. Check serving times for meals beforehand since they have limited hours for lunch (11-2:30) and dinner (5-8:30). They do not have wifi. I recommend their seasonal fig tea and pickled vegetables! Interesting atmosphere and aesthetic. It has more of a day bar / brunch restaurant vibe than a cafe. One room did have a lovely tea room vibe. Several parties dining in that room wore fancy high tea hats. The building, furniture, and decorations are beautiful. The music did not match the vibe nor did the plastic QR code menus or plastic wrappers holding the gold tinted utensils. The employees were friendly, but busy. I am sure the set up is tricky with multiple rooms, large parties, and an outdoor area. I stopped here one since I love tea and two since I needed to work on a presentation. Ample parking is available with signage directing you where to park. When you walk in, you wait briefly at the hostess stand to be seated. I chose the room on the left since it was quieter. Comfortable chairs, a couch, and tables decorated the bright room. Framed pictures of Dolly Parton lined the fireplace and the bar was located at the far end of the room. I chose to sit at a dining table and viewed the paper menu. QR code menus and paper menus are available. The paper menus are at the hostess stand when you walk in. The tea menu was short, but had a good variety of high-quality unique teas. I chose the seasonal fig tea made with a blend of black and green tea. Since I arrived in between lunch and dinner, they were serving only appetizers at the time. I chose the pickled vegetables. Once I ordered and set up my laptop to start working, I was informed that they do not have wifi. This was very surprising. Unfortunately I needed internet access to work so I did not stay as long as originally planned. I did love the tea and pickled vegetables. I finished the vegetables and poured the tea in a to-go cup to enjoy later. Overall, the tea room is lovely. Perfect for meeting up with friends.

This place is so quaint, and simply delightful! We went there for a leadership meeting, and the staff was simply amazing. We had the opportunity to eat outdoors on the patio. There were small fans on the table to ward off bugs, so that was a nice surprise, I had the scones which come accompanied with a few butters. The butter is a very light yet packed with flavor. Very awesome texture and just a great combo now what blew my mind was the salmon dip and the collard green dip! I was absolutely flabbergasted at the amount of flavor in the dip!!! The collard greens are such a southern delicacy, and the way they infused peppers and cheeses to make this surprisingly great appetizer I was blown away! The dips come accompanied with the classic corn dippers or Fritos. This place was absolutely worth a visit will be returning!

Lovely atmosphere, very pleasant staff, tea sourced from a Triangle vendor, and delicious food.

We stubbled upon this hidden gem on our way out of town. Cohen good with a flair. The scones were buttery and moist and the flavored butters went perfectly! Pimento cheese and black eyed pea hummus were creamy and loaded with flavor. I got the turtle bean soup and the 10 layered salad. Yum! My friends had the tomato sandwich and the corn chowder. They loved theirs as well. Don't skip the wall paper in the bathroom!!! Great place to go with friends.

I love the unique food, drink and atmosphere here so I figured it would be a great place to take my one year old for a mommy/daughter early dinner at 4:30pm. I was informed they do not have high chairs or kids menus. I really wanted to eat here so I got the stroller from the car so my daughter had a place to eat. I felt the cold shoulder from the server, as it was made pretty clear to me that kids are not welcomed here. The server did say they are trying to make the tea room more kid friendly so I'm looking forward to that, but not sure if that was a throwaway comment or not. I still enjoyed my food and my daughter enjoyed the quesadilla I got for her. My sister has a birthday brunch coming up here in two weeks that my daughter will be attending as well. I guess we will have to make the stroller work again. While I enjoy the food, PTR is simply not accommodating to moms with young children.

This has much more of a Chic Southern feel than my usual tea rooms and I love it. I work in Holly Springs and this place just fits in with the whole small town feel. I loved the decor and just the whole feel of this place. I realized that I didn't take one picture of my drinks or food. The food and drinks were amazing as well. We went in between lunch and dinner and it was perfect. It was quiet and relaxed. Persephone's Temptation is my new go to drink. I think I drank three so glad my friend drove. I can't wait to go back.

We finally stopped in for a cocktail after dinner at another restaurant. We had no idea what to expect and were so pleasantly surprised! We were greeted right away by super friendly staff and asked indoors or out. We chose outside where they had live music and fans to keep things cool. The inside reminded me of Alice in Wonderland! So fun & whimsical. We each ordered spicy jalapeño margaritas that were fantastic and my husband was able to order a scone which was peanut free-huge for our food allergy family. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we can't wait to try it again. The menu is a touch eccentric and changes frequently so can't speak to the other food but we are for sure going to give it a try!

A great place for light lunch and tea! While waiting for your order, there's definitely something interesting that'll catch your eye. From the seasonal decor to the regular decor. They had so many tea options, some seasonal options, that makes me want to branch out and try different teas. The finger sandwiches and soup are perfect for lunch, filling enough to get through the day. The scones were delish with their different butter flavors. Will be coming back!

Service was terrible. We had to ask for our drinks several times, even after the food arrived. Even to pay the tab, had to flag down someone to get noticed even though the tables were emptying out and the staff congregated around the bar on their smart phones. Yeahhhh being ignored is a big pet peeve of mine! The food was okay. Not enough meat options, lots of vegan stuff. Yes, I get it that it is a tea room BUT I think they could offer a more varied menu for actually eating. Loved the restored building and decorum. Would not return.

My friend recommended this restaurant for us to get together on a Sunday afternoon when they have brunch I love this place in so many ways. The decor is very quaint and there is a huge selection of teas, spirits and spirit free drinks The menu changes weekly and they always seem to have a gluten-free and vegan option. The gluten-free scone came out warm and the cookie butter was delicious on it. the turtle black bean soup with cumin was packed with flavor and very filling. I also ordered the enchiladas which were fillies with sweet potatoes, onions, peppers. Soooo fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back to try out some hot teas!

Pimiento Tea Room has a funky vibe that is unlike traditional tea rooms. It's full of bright colored wallpapers, painted walls and even has an elegant painting of Mr. T over the mantle. The decor is cool! We ordered Kiss of the Dragon tea which was delicious. I like how our tea was steeped in a clear French press, and that it came with honey and sugar cubes on the side. For our meal we started with the Pimento Profiteroles - whipped pimento cheese piped into a cream puff shell (pâte à choux). Sadly the profiteroles didn't taste fresh and we disliked the whipped pimento cheese. Our server told us "it's very cheddar forward," so it didn't have a lot of pimento flavor. The cheddar flavor didn't go well with the sweetness of the pâte à choux. Our server kindly offered to bring us something else, so we picked the sausage balls. The sausage balls were dry and overcooked, but the worst part was the PTR mustard served with them. I can't explain the flavor, but it was unpleasant and we both gave up trying to eat the sausage balls. Fortunately the sandwiches we ordered (Chicken Salad & Pea Pesto) were delicious. But my chicken salad sandwich came stacked oddly high. My friend and I practically burst out laughing when we saw it. I had to take it apart and reassemble it so I could actually get it in my mouth! Afterwards we ordered the Texas sheet cake. The dessert we received looked like a large peanut butter cup! At first we thought we had the wrong dessert. But after asking our server if this was the Texas sheet cake, she cryptically assured us that "all the flavors should be there." I have to think that we weren't the first diners to question why a dessert called a "Texas sheet cake with strawberry-chocolate frosting" looked like a brownie in the shape of a peanut butter cup. It was dry, dense and tasted like chocolate. We didn't detect any strawberry flavor. Even though I liked the decor of PTR, and thought the service was great, the food (except for the sandwiches) did not meet our expectations so we're not likely to go there again.

We went there today for brunch. Food was really good. Service was good considering how busy they were. Reservations definitely needed. Some suggestions should the business owner reads these reviews - - the food was so, so awesome. So wish the savouries were warm instead of served room temperature. The quiche and the chicken waffle would have been truly spectacular if it was served NOT at room temperature. - training the staff to provide consistent service everywhere. Other tables had the same server go over what each of the items were. For us, she dropped it off without doing it - so we had to figure out what each item was. Imagine biting into something thinking it was going to be sweet and it is not :) - whole transferring the quiche to my plate - clumsy me dropped it on the floor. Picked it up immediately but there was still a bit left on the floor which needed to be scraped up. Told two servers - and it took a while. I would think cleaning a mess up is priority since someone could slip on it. We kept an eye out to make sure no one did (would have mopped it up ourselves if we had paper napkins but had only one linen one for each of us). Finally - I was a little surprised I wasn't offered another slice of quiche by the server even though she knew I had dropped it and therefore would not have tried it. Granted it was my fault - but offering to bring a replacement would have been a very nice gesture. We will be back - the food was very good!

I love PTR! Food selection is great, and on the healthier side without feeling like you're sacrificing the taste/experience. Fun decor and a nice size outside area with heaters (which have a good track record of being fueled and on, unlike a lot of restaurants I've been to in the past couple years). Inside is beautiful, a little funky, and it's so cool that the home is historic/so old. Servers and service awesome! Great tea selection. Fresh brewed iced tea (the syrup stuff makes me mad!) My fave things to order are the vegan ten layer, hummus, or the sandwiches (only served at lunch) Editing to add- I love arugula, pickled foods, and vegetables in general which is why I like the above. One of the best parts is that it's all so affordable! I am surprised each time I eat here how little the bill is. Maybe I'm just used to eating out in Durham... Amazing overall, I find myself coming here often. Would definitely recommend you give it at least one try.

Cool and eclectic tea room in an old house. It was a perfect spot for my friends birthday lunch. She even received a surprise scone with rainbow butter from our waitress! Definitely get the butter flight...yes, a flight of 3 flavored butters with scones. My favorite was the honey-scallion. Their menu is small and has classic tea room food with flare. We got the vegan 10-layer salad, sausage balls and Texas sheet cake. Everything was cute and flavorful. There are many teas and also tea-infused cocktails. I'd like to come back for their brunch.

Excellent service and ambiance. We went on a weekday afternoon for lunch and it was pretty crowded. Parking is not easy as they have a very limited spots available in front of the restaurant. Food was okay. We trued their scones and butters. All the hutter we tried were really yumm but filled us up to eat our lunch:). Sandwiches were okay; nothing out of ordinary. Next time I will go for afternoon tea than lunch time.

Yum! And fun! The collard green dip is delicious. Scone with cinnamon brown sugar butter is yummy. Highlight? The apple cider margarita! OMG. Rarely do I order more than 1 drink. I had to have 2 of these. Best. Drink. Ever. Topped it off with the apple caramel bread pudding. By far the best bread pudding I have ever had. And I have had a lot Tyler, our server was a delight!!! Will definitely be going back.

Dinner at PTR was delicious. We all enjoyed our dinner and time together. The atmosphere was wonderful. I recommend you going to eat here. These are just a few of the pics. We ordered quite a few various items and everything was great.

What a complete TREAT! A quirky, amazing delight and gem in Holly Springs. My and my family were visiting my sister from MD, so she treated us to the tea room. We came right at 11, as they do not take reservations, and we are glad we did, as there was quite a wait not long after we got there. I am Gluten Free, but still found several amazing options, and left STUFFED! The staff was VERY knowledgeable about the menu and what is GF and what isn't/ what they recommended! Such a wide array of foods and teas- your bound to find something to delight anyone. We ranged from Me, who is GF, to my 88 year old grandmother. I had the Citron Butterfly tea, which was light and beautiful, 2 of our party had iced tea. They are very picky and LOVED it, one got a specialty drink and another got another hot tea- all very pleased! We got LOTS of scones (GF for me), and 5 butters. Honey scallion was the table favorite, Lemon mint was easily the least favorite- it was very intense and not a flavor any of us enjoyed. We got a HUGE variety of items from the menu and were INCREDIBLY pleased, getting pointers from the staff on what to try. My sister was interested to see our reactions to the unique decor- I think she wad nervous on my grandmother's response, but excited to see my reaction. I WAS IN LOVE. I could've spent an hour walking around looking at all of the little gems all around the tea room, but particularly loved the wallpaper in bathroom 1 and the Dolly Parton shrine!!!!! I am hoping to move to the region this summer and will 1000000000000% be back.

This place is the cutest. There is a parking lot so you do not have to street park. Do you understand that the menu changes all the time because the chef likes to change it up. The tea is fabulous. The wallpaper and the decor is so eclectic and divine it makes you so happy to go in. They are currently doing some renovation on the outdoor area so it's mostly indoor seating currently. There are two unisex bathrooms. The staff was wonderful. They also have gift cards. I had the tea kiss of the dragon it's a white tea it was lovely. I also have the chicken salad sandwich honestly it was not enough food I wanted more cause it was that good.

First timer, went on Saturday night to hear some live Jazz. Angela Bingham was on the mic. She's a character, very entertaining. Grant Osborne was on the keys. They were great! It is a small establishment. The tables are really close to one another so you will basically be having one big gathering with all the other guest. We listed our name on the list to wait for a table, but we got lucky as folks was leaving the bar so we took seats and stayed at the bar. The server at the bar was really cool. Shout out to her, she was hustling behind that bar, doing a fabulous solo job keeping up with them drink orders. We learned they have a new dinner menu option each Tuesday. We ordered the Mac & cheese ($15), it was served with goat cheese sauce, carrots, green beans, red onions, greens... it was very flavorful and delicious. Portion size was great! Great selection of specialty cocktails. They serve infused tea. The upside down pineapple margarita with a twist of jalapeño sauce was perfect! It's also their seasonal drink, so they won't have it on their menu for very long. Also ordered the L.I.Tea. It did not disappoint. I will definitely return to try other cocktails. A little disappointed with dessert since they ran out of the one we really wanted to try. But, hopefully next time. We will be back!

PTR is a unique restaurant to say the least. Their decor is absolutely gorgeous and the menu is always changing. The yea I've tried was pretty tasty but their supper menu is where it's at. I do wish they offered it all day as opposed to 5pm and after.

I was looking forward to having an interesting tea at the Pimento Tea Room, but was very disappointed. It is a cute and quirky place, but the service was not attentive, and the food was just OK. In fact, I didn't like many of the things in the Sunday brunch service. We had to book weeks ahead and it wasn't worth it Even the bloody Mary was a disappointment. In their defense, it may just have been an off day as others have given it rave reviews. I would not recommend it.

I stopped in here twice in one week - once for dinner and once for lunch! Absolutely love this spot in DT Holly Springs and know I'll be back with friends regularly. It's such a cute, charming spot that's perfect for catching up with friends. Their rotating menu means you'll always be able to try something new. The food is fantastic! We love the food, service, and the atmosphere here. They have an outdoor patio but dogs are not allowed.
