Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.

The one and only museum available at monday (at least the one I could find). There cute cats in the park, welcoming museum workers and some of the art are truly awesome.

One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

Marvellous gallery with works of arts of different periods. Very accessible, bilingual for those who don't speak Portuguese (which is bit of a rarity in Brazil) and perfectly organized. Also one of few museums in São Paulo that is opened on Monday. Shame that the famous garden was closed.

This was a great museum. Give yourself at least two hours to see it as it’s very large and has several floors and many rooms. I enjoyed the art in this museum because while it was modern/contemporary, it was easy to understand and had historical and social as well as cultural relevance and connections that were easy to understand and highlighted Many issues in Brazil. Would love to return and see more in the future.

The pinacoteca is housed in a stunning 1905 building. The collection is impressive, and the entire building is beautifully maintained

Even since before I planned my trip to Brazil I knew I wanted to visit the Pinacoteca at one point in my life. The building is reminiscent of a classical temple, and has a massive collection of works in all plastic arts. I loved the educational focus of the exhibits, the fact that they are arranged by topic and not by region or century, and all the accessibility infrastructure all around. Truly one of the best museums I have been to in Brazil.
