Awesome experience! Really loved the expositions. Must visit place in SP. And it’s free of charge on Saturdays. There is a quiet park nearby also worth visiting

I absolutely loved the Pinacoteca of São Paulo. What stood out most to me was the quality of its curatorship: the exhibitions are very diverse, yet they maintain a strong coherence that naturally guides you through the history and evolution of Brazilian art. It feels like a thoughtful and well-narrated journey through different periods, languages, and perspectives, without ever feeling overwhelming. The space is spacious, bright, and very well organized, allowing you to appreciate each artwork at your own pace. The selection of artists and approaches creates an ongoing dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, inviting reflection and discovery. Without a doubt, it is a must-visit for anyone who wants to better understand Brazilian art and enjoy a truly enriching cultural experience.

I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.

My favourite art museum in Sao Paulo! It's huge as well, reserve at least 2 hours to visit. The expositions change constantly, so it's always worth it to visit.

This is a fascinating house with many rooms of art by different artists. The ladscaping breathtaking and the day i was there live music and artistic acts. Right across the street from the famous Luz station

Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!

Beautiful building. Allow several hours to take it in. Very enjoyable.

Never got to go inside, I’m handicap and I showed them, the still wanted me to leave my backpack in an outside venue, I need my medicine and I have to much to actually carry around. For people like me I suggest you have someone search their bags and allow them entry. Then I asked could I use the restroom downstairs and she told me I needed to leave my bag in the venue as well just to use the restroom so of course that’s when I went directly around the side of the building and it led me to this great restaurant. I was able to use the same restroom just by going through the restaurant. Go Figure with my bag because of disable. Otherwise just say you don’t service handicap people. The only reason you’re getting 2 stars is the restaurant that’s attached is AMAZING!! And needs to be fully detached from your museum. Because they would have received 5 stars because the food was good and the drinks were better!! After visiting the restaurant we ate, paid for parking and left. This place was disrespectful from start to finish. I would give them a zero if I could, but the restaurant deemed at least two stars unfortunately they have to be attached to this place. So for future reference, if you don’t want disable people coming to your museum, please put that in your advertisement it would save a lot of time.
