TL;DR
VERY expensive ($35.60 4x Tacos). Decent flavours and quantity. Kind service. Interesting design.
Food:
I got a combination of 1x Quesairria taco ($9+tax), 1x Steak taco ($7.50+tax), Cochinita Taco ($7.50+tax) and 1x Al Pastor tacos ($7.50+tax). The Birria was pretty good on it's own, with subtle flavours but the cheese overwhelms in flavour and makes it slightly salty but still good. Even when matched with the consume that comes in an espresso type cup (smart). The Birria taco came with doubled tortilla, with the outside tortilla being fried. The quantity of meat was respectable. I did not find the Birria to be spicy at all. I did find one piece of bone within my taco.
The Carne taco full of flavour with a slight salty taste. The meat itself was very soft.
The Cochinita taco was soft, juicy, with good flavour but subtle.
The Al Pastor was pretty good, with a smokey taste, and the meat was pretty packed.
The tortilla tasted very authentic.
Service:
The servers were pretty chill and quick. From the moment we entered to order, all the way to getting the food was pretty fast but there was only about 7 other people ordering.
Setting:
They were playing Techno music, at a volume slightly over medium. The washrooms smelled good despite looking pretty run down. The walls in the dining room and washroom are designed by seemingly customer’s writing and drawings with sharpies. There were about 7 single tables that fit 2 people and a third if you wanted to add a chair to the side. There was 1 table with 4 seats and then a couple of stools by the bar. They also offer you the sharpie so you can add your personal touch to their walls.
