My first experience was let down by service and non-existing hello’s or goodbye’s.
It was a Saturday morning and three girls behind the counter, whose priority was to chat amongst themselves than to acknowledge their customers, seemed to be unbothered.
Wasn’t sure how the service worked, ordered quite a few things, which resulted in quite a few plates. I asked if I should give a hand, the girl replied “we don’t actually bring it, customers take everything themselves, but we will help”.
My question is do I run back and forth or am I being given a tray?! Salmon tarts were lovely, but some other bakery items tasted stale and not fresh. The whole experience would have been so much better if the staff were more welcoming to customers. However, we are going to give another chance.
