From start to finish, the service was impeccable. We were greeted and seated by the restaurant owner. Their mission is stated as "Our passion and commitment is to deliver a fusion of mouthwatering dishes & delicious beverages with prompt and courteous service in the most romantic atmosphere on Aruba" - we felt that.
Our server Floyd was very attentive during our meal (in the perfect way) nearby to fill our water and wine and ask how our food was. He had a side of humor and was very polite. We ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer which was delicious! For entrees we ordered the filet in a wine sauce which came with vegetables and the catch of the day - freshly caught, which also came with the most mouthwatering coconut rice, lobster tail, shrimp and vegetables. We grabbed a bottle of Moscato. We skipped dessert as we were fully satisfied with the meal! We came at 5:30 and caught the sunset. Was beautiful. Planes also are flying in and it's just a beautiful scene. Floyd did not rush us as we finished our bottle of wine while staring at the fish jumping around! In almost perfect timing, he came with our bill and jokingly eyeballed the wine bottle as if to wonder where it all went! At a busy time, it's the small things that make you feel like you're his only table.
Each bite was worth what was spent. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful mission statement and the staff to back it up. The owners greeting and seating, check in and with Floyds attention, they couldn't have done any better.
