The ice cream here is superb. It would be difficult to find a better ice cream place in the north west. Pinecone creamery offers a unique and delicious selection of ice cream. And, on a nice summer day, eating outside is delightful.

Best ice cream in Washington (beats even places in Seattle!). I got the mocha almond chip in a sugar cone and it was delicious. Not too sweet, a decent portion size (although I’d have been happier with a smaller one). I’d also recommend the Belgian chocolate orange flavor too! The seating outside does get packed and appears to be shared with the restaurant next door.

It was delicious. Very spendy though. We purchased 2 vegan pints. There were only 3 vegan options on the menu. Two ice creams in an oat milk base: cherry and strawberry matcha swirl. Also, pineapple sorbet option. I would recommend it.

5-star ice cream here! I'm sure all of these flavors are amazing but I've visited once. I had to try the Honey Lavender, and it was unquestionably transcendental. The waffle cones are made fresh on site and the ice cream is simply scrumptious. This place stays busy but they keep the line moving. Cheers to the hard-working staff that keeps it running. Hands down some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Lots of unique flavors to choose from, and I really liked that you could split a scoop to try different flavors without getting two full scoops! I got the orange cardamom and lavender honey, and I would honestly drive the two hours just to have this ice cream again. Super cute shop, very friendly staff, excellent treats ❤️

Stoked to have a local ice cream shop that offers non-dairy options. They also rotate flavors on a regular basis! A great, inviting and clean space that is family friendly.

Pinecone is by far one of the best places to get ice cream in Walla Walla. They are constantly creating new flavors and always have a variety of flavors and toppings to chose from! The honey lavender has been my go-to for years now and I can never pass up the free sprinkles. The employees are always so sweet and delightful to talk to! Lastly, I always love the seating areas! It's not too crowded but fits lots of people. Everything is decorated very nicely and makes it a great place to hang out.

Really enjoyed this cute ice cream shop and thankfully they were open for an after dinner treat. It's pretty popular and they had waves of busy moments but we were served in a timely manner. My favorite was the honey lavender ice cream! Generous servings packed with delicious flavor. Loved that a cone was included if you wanted a cone. Nice menu variety including a few vegan options. They have a self serve fridge, access to water, and restrooms available in store if needed. Lots of outdoor seating as well with a beautiful mural. Sorry, no pictures because we scarfed our ice cream down quick!

DELICIOUS! And the staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Even if just for the amazing smell when you walk in the door.

A MUST if you are in Walla Walla. This is one of THEE ice cream spots to go. This place gives very Salt & Straw (without the crazy lines) and the ice cream is good. They also have dairy-free options which are also very delicious!

Pine Cone creamery was the best ice cream parlor I've been to in a very long time. A great variety of flavors and plenty of seating both inside and outside. The scoop sizes were very generous for the cost. They also offer mixed scoops. One scoop; two different flavors. Super cool. Check out the video of the bathroom. It is the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen an ice cream parlor. And it's super cute to.

Normally, I love this place but today I went in and I spent $5.50 on a half a scoop of ice cream and it was awful. It didn't even have all the stuff in it that the ice Cream was supposed to have . The first scoop, the girl gave me was not even placed on my cone. I took it from her and the scoop dropped off the cone. She's like oh that's OK. I'll get you another one. I was like wait a minute that wasn't my fault. You're the one putting the scoop on the ice cream then when she gave me the next scoop, it wasn't even a full scoop. It was just a tiny bit of ice cream.

Such a cute little store with a long line of flavors! We walked over from our airbnb for some ice cream on our last night on Walla Walla. Had we gone on the first night I might have visited more often to try more flavors. The peach cobbler was gooood. As was the honey lavender and Bourbon caramel pecan ( I think those were the names of what my friends had). I'm very visual, so it was hard for me to decide on a flavor with so many options and not being able to see them all. This made me second guess my choice more than I would've liked. Whenever I visit an ice cream shop (which is fast more often than I should admit), I get a cone. Mainly to reduce wasting a cup and spoon, but also because who doesn't like a waffle cone? I didn't love that Pine Cone had a hole in the bottom of their cone and filled it with a marshmallow. While I appreciate the solution they have so I didn't have melting ice cream running down my hand or the front of my shirt, I'm vegetarian and don't eat gelatin. While I was okay with the marshmallow being in my cone, i can imagine others might not be. And there are plenty of shops making waffle cones without a hole at the bottom... PS Pine Cone - perhaps you might consider replacing the single use plastic spoons with a reusable or compostable version

Good flavors but they charge a dollar extra for vegan flavors and it's not mentioned anywhere.. weird and lame

Stopped by for a little scoop.. ended up getting a sundae and got to sample almost every one they were all so good it was hard to choose! Friendly staff clean space 10 out of 10 !

Ice cream was good, it would be great to be able to see the flavors when making a choice especially with names that aren't always self explanatory (the ice creams are all covered). Scoop size was good, sprinkles are free, other toppings, cones, etc. are available for extra change. Atmosphere is very cute, and the establishment was very clean. Good to go options such as pints and pies. Prices are decent, we got 3 single scoop cups with only 1 additional topping and it was $17 before tip. Service was OK, not super friendly, long nails and hair down, and didn't see handwashing happening between checkout/serving customers.

Don't sleep on the peppermint ice cream pie, which seems to be a seasonal offering. Some fun flavors here, though I agree with other reviewers that this concept is best when you introduce unusual flavors by promoting the option to taste them ahead of time. Whether you can sample here seems completely dependent on who is serving you, as opposed to the service model itself. Pine Cone Creamery has a range of prepacked ice cream in the coolers for folks who may not want to wait in line during busy times.

What a great addition to Walla Walla. The ice cream was excellent. They had several good (and some unique) flavors on hand (I split a scoop between Klicker Strawberry and Chocolate and Peanut Butter, while my wife got Thai Iced Tea flavored ice cream). The waffle cones were fantastic - they were a little fragile - but that was because they weren't too thick as some waffle cones are, and the taste was amazing. The space was great as well, with a nice indoor space and a great patio (and right next door to another Walla Walla favorite, Graze).

Came in on a hot day to get some ice cream. The 2 serving seemed very annoyed they had to help us. We asked about some of the ice cream flavors. They gave descriptions but no samples. Ended up getting the mint chocolate chip to be safe and the tried to the chocolate banana malt. Chocolate banana malt was meh, again wish we had been able to try some. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Delicious ice cream, cute space with a great patio and fun vibe. Sunday evening and it was full but the wait wasn't bad at all. Sat outside for a few minutes and then walked along the river walk while finishing our treats, it was a lovely way to end the night.

Great tasting ice cream, so many flavors! The person in front of us basically tried all of them so by the time we got to the front of the line, we just picked two and they were both fantastic! Staff is very patient and friendly. Well made ice cream, and cute store with indoor and outdoor seating.

This is clearly a local favorite, so what can I really add to the praise. Well, maybe some outside insight. I'm gonna talk about the positives first. Great service, they are fast and kind. Reasonable prices, considering the ice cream is handmade. Which, is my next topic. Incredibly real, and satisfying, handmade ice cream. Very unique flavors, and they make the flavors well and exact. It's got a great vibe/feel. They've designed the inside to look very modern and trendy, and I dig it. Outdoor seating as well. But here's the negatives. It's shared by the restaurant next door? Or it's just for the restaurant next door? Not super clear. They have it, a bit hidden. There's a big open spot in front of the door, which is the outdoor seating, so it could be hard to find. They even put a sign up on the sidewalk. This is VERY minor, but for visitors, they may hear how good of a creamery it is, and be disappointed by never knowing what flavors are available. Or even, that a plain chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry are available. There's BARELY any negatives. Even the negatives, are incredibly minor. Overall, you get exactly what you asked for. Great flavors, high quality, and on top of that, it's reasonably priced. You'll get great service, and a great environment/atmosphere.

Planned on stopping here while planning our trip to Walla Walla and I'm so glad we did. Many flavors to choose from, some traditional and some unique such as O Captain My Captain (Captain Crunch cereal flavor). I went with half chocolate peanut butter and half cookies & cream- both really great flavors and I loved that the ice cream wasn't too sweet. Will definitely return!

I love ice cream and this place tops the list as one of the best ice cream shops i've been to! They have tons of unique flavors to choose from and the friendly staff were more than willing to offer samples to taste the different kinds. Both indoor and outdoor seating options available with a comfy mom and pop feel for an anytime treat!

Pine Cone Creamery was absolutely amazing! I couldn't help moaning & groaning in delight with every bite! Usually we include photos with our reviews (tomorrow night!) but we couldn't wait to stuff our faces with this ice creamy yummm! We ordered waffle cones with German Chocolate Cake & Banana Brownie Bonanza. The waffle cone was slightly reminiscent of a thicker fortune cookie batter, griddled to the perfect consistency (not too brittle & crumbly, but pleasantly chewy)! And, the ice cream screamed with fresh ingredients (not overly processed & over-loaded with sugar). Like I said, we'll be back tomorrow night!

It's not easy finding amazing vegan ice cream, especially outside of the ice cream isle at the store, but I found it at pine cone! They have 3 vegan options, all were good, but the strawberry lemon cookie was incredible. It was sweet without being sickening, light and summery, yet so creamy. Cute mural outside too and you're greeted the mouthwatering aroma of waffle cones as you walk in that are as good as they smell. I ordered one scoop but it was at least 2 1/2! Best ice cream in town!

This is an awesome little ice cream shop that's easy to find! Good selection of flavors and friendly workers!! We certainly will be back! The only other thing I can say is, I wish there would be at least one sugar free option. Thank you!

We dropped by after dinner for a quick dessert, but many of the ice cream flavors listed on their website were unavailable. The three young staff members behind the counter looked displeased and didn't even smile. They seemed quite unhappy to be serving ice cream. The ice cream was pretty good.

The ice cream never disappoints! Plus it is the one of the few businesses you can go to late into the night. Great for every occasion.

New Ice Cream Shop in Walla Walla - you should try it! Fresh Flavors made onsite - tasty, creamy without being too rich. Scoops are good sized and Waffle Cones were crisp, flavorful and made onsite. Wide range of interesting flavors, including vegan (Coconut base). Our crew tried the Chocolate Banana Malt, Vegan German Chocolate and Peach Cobbler. All were delicious! The Peach Cobbler had chunks of fresh peach throughout. Staff were friendly, restaurant was very clean. They also sell coffee, have cute mugs and shirts, and sell take home pints. We're coming back again soon to try the O Captain, My Captain (Captain Crunch Cereal) and the End of the Rainbow (Lucky Charms). It'll be like having breakfast in a cone!

It's tough giving Pine Cone a less-than-stellar review. We love the owners other venture, The Maple Counter. We LOVE the idea of a local ice creamery that makes their product from scratch and is all-natural. We counted down the days until our first visit in eager anticipation. This was truly a spot we were in love with before we had even gone in for our first visit. And man, those first two visits WERE heavenly. We had friendly customer service. We had a nice little space outside during the bigger Covid waves. The ice cream was AMAZING in those first visits. Banana Cream Pie, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Mexican Cocoa; all three blew us out of the water and had us counting down our next visit! They navigated the Covid waves in an excellent fashion: a great website with an easy to use portal for online orders. Curbside pickup. EVEN delivery. DELIVERY! Ice Cream delivery! Kudos on this, and these HUGE strides for customer access need to be noted. Alas, things couldn't stay consistent. That's always one of the keys that is difficult to retain in the food business: keeping things consistent. Online orders had some issues. Outages occurred (this happens, sure.) Friendliness dropped off. Most importantly: we simply could not get the flavor experience from those first two visits. Multiple later visits yielded the same disappointment: great new flavors were advertised to us through social media, but once we clamored in to get them, they always fell short. WAY short. Ingredient quality seemed to take a hit, flavor intensity was muted & dull and any flavor that involved "pieces or chunks", would be completely void of them. This was the case not once, not twice, but three times in a row on our next consecutive visits. As a customer, that's where I tend to draw the line; three strikes and you're out. At $9 a pint, it just makes sense to question our return at this juncture and drop our recommendations to friends/family/visitors. I can't say we will never be back. We really love so much about this place (as I stated above.) The proximity, location in downtown & fun-level for the kids is certainly a draw that may get us to grit our teeth and try again, but for now, we're out.

Bourbon Pecan Carmel is the only way to go 10/10 best ice cream in town. It is well decorated and very cute.

I fancy myself as an ice cream eating specialist. Had a chance to treat myself to a cone from this brand new location. It was great. I had the Bourbon caramel pecan although you would not know that from my photo. The ice cream was perfectly blended, nice portions of caramel and pecan with the bourbon flavor in every lick. Looking forward to more cones and flavors in near future.

Ice cream is not very good. Friendly staff and good ambiance, but overall the ice cream doesn't melt well and tastes like nothing (respectfully)

"Which is the most chocolatey?," I asked the hard-working young woman. She lit up and explained how they make the melted chocolate ice cream with actual melted chocolate. Sold! This was the best chocolate ice cream I've had in years, including my Seattle favorites. And to boot the shop is adorable, clean and welcoming. I'd try another flavor but...

You can tell their ice cream is fresh and homemade. Their honey lavender flavor is one of my favorites.

Our experience was great. I got a split scoop cone with cookies and cream + honey lavender flavors and it tasted amazing. The bathrooms were also very nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in town.

Ice cream was simply amazing! Nice relaxed atmosphere and great seating also. They have some of the most amazing flavors! Service was great as well. Once we knew we had to get to the other side to order we were all set to go.

Wow! Such a beautiful place and the ice cream was super creamy and flavor. Honey lavender had rich honey flavor w hint of lavender--didn't taste like you were eating flowers. Cherry cobbler had big chunks of cobbler. They were super friendly about giving samples. Also the mural and the bathrooms and everything about the space was super nice too.

Banana Ice Cream w Fresh Brownies in it! This place is an ice cream purist dream come true. Seriously the banana was so fresh and paired perfectly! This is quality with no pretentious abstract wannabe famous distractions. Servers are young and super friendly - love Pine Cone and Walla Walla.

Seriously good ice cream. I had the bourbon caramel pecan. It was 100 degrees out when we had it. It really hit the spot.

Really good food. They have improved tremendously over the past 12 months. Friendly staff excellent authentic Greek food and pleasant surrounds. One criticism is its very noisy because there is no sound absorbing of the walls or floors and its difficult to have a nice meal with friends cos your shouting all the time. Otherwise very satisfied

Yum! Wanted the chocolate banana malt flavored ice cream but it wasn't offered this day. I settled for the root beer flavor and it was perfect! My young''n had the melted chocolate and it was even better!
