Yelp
This is a comfortable family restaurant. With a great wishing well (I haven't seen these since I was a kid - a place where a child can pull out a prize after eating), a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of space to wander around, this is a good place to bring kids.
People told me its known primarily for breakfast and is busiest in the mornings, especially Sundays. When we visited for dinner, there weren't many customers.
While the service was friendly and the prices very reasonable (almost everything is under $9), I wasn't impressed with the food. While breakfast is available all day, the non-breakfast choices were limited. The vegetable of the day were peas. I like peas, but these were mushy canned peas - pretty inedible. My wild rice was overcooked and not very flavorful. A decent salad bar comes with entrees, but the only lettuce available was iceberg, and the spoons near the soup were dirty. My favorite part of the meal was the soup.
