Cute hotel. This is my second time staying in Bend for a ski trip (the first time I stayed at the Oxford Hotel) and I think the value proposition of the Pine Ridge Inn is a lot better. It’s quaint, so more intimate of an experience than your average place. Free beer on check in and free breakfast really makes this place worth the stay. Also, super close to the Safeway (walking distance), the shopping outlets, and also super close to the Riverfront Park trail (beautiful 1.5~ mile round trip walk) If I had to be pedantic about something, I’d say the shower wasn’t the best. Water didn’t really want to warm up and the shower head had some bizarre non-adjustable high pressure wide spray nozzle that simply isn’t ideal for bathing Parking is super easy and the location is fantastic. Legitimately 0.25 miles and you’re on the main road to Mt Bachelor. I would gladly use this hotel again, although I do wish they would allow cats! It would make my life quite a bit easier.

Google
very accommodating- roomy - nice touch with the fireplace. I wish it had a stronger water pressure in the shower. The Original Pancake House was across the street. Our room was very quiet and with the curtains pulled- it was a dark room when sleeping- loved it

We are still here and I am so pleased with our experience so far I wanted to make sure to leave a review before we leave. We have had an incredible time at this gem of an Inn. We called on our way to confirm a late check in and were greeted with kindness and professionalism from Ginny, who has continued to provide exceptional hospitality. The room is clean, accommodating, and adorably quaint. Overall we are absolutely chuffed and will be adding this to our permanent list of Bend Getaway Spots, and we think you should, too.

Usually, I stay with family during my visits to Bend. However, this trip required me to seek accommodation elsewhere. Favoring boutique hotels over chain ones, I looked into my choices and found the Pine Ridge Inn, which had excellent reviews and an ideal location. I was amazed at the size of the room and the amenities. Breakfast consisted of amazing items from a local bakery! If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Bend, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Inn.

Google
Amazing view of the deschutes, rooms very clean, thoughtful extras in the room, quiet, location exceptional, wonderful place to stay! Front desk personnel impolite, unprofessional (every time we passed, was playing on phone, she ignores patrons)😂so avoid lobby area and you should be fine!

Loved this hotel. We got upgraded to the suite and wow what a room. Double balcony, gorgeous views and super large. Bed was so comfortable and the room was so quite. Huge bathroom and plenty of storage space. Has a gas fire too so cold nights will be super cosy. Other rooms looked spacious and hotel was very clean. If I had one thing I would criticise is breakfast. Choice is extremely limited, lady can be a tiny bit abrupt and I feel they would do better doing some deal with the pancake house and not offer or upgrade what they do offer. Staff on reception are very friendly and the free drink was a great touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Google
This hotel is wonderful. Big well-appointed rooms w a large balcony overlooking the river, nicely furnished w a loveseat, chair, ottoman, and super comfy bed. Also had a fireplace, as well as (verymini)fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker all nicely hidden away in a combo dresser/tv stand. ||The staff was wonderful. Guests are offered a glass of wine or beer on their first night. Breakfast is mildly disappointing with a light continental breakfast. Nicer than some, but a bit meh. Good tea selection, though. ||Our dogs were welcomed with a dog bed, sheet, blanket, bowl, and treats. ||I thought about giving it 4 stars bc it’s quite high above the river and there is construction going on about 75 yards away that was slightly noisy, but it was really such a lovely place to come back to, so five stars it is! It’s a really good value for the money!!!

Yelp
We stayed here while driving up to Seattle, stopping in bend for a night to see a show. Was excited to book somewhere local, and the reviews read great so we were super excited. While this inn has some nice things about it, namely a good bed and small patio, we found ourselves quite frustrated with the other parts of the stay. We brought our dog along, having checked that they were pet friendly and made arrangements to have the correct room. He is a calm, well trained, adult dog who is used to stayed in hotel rooms since we have spent a lot of time on the road. I , as always, read into their policies as available through Expedia and their website and found there would be no reason to expect anything different from our standard experience with other hotels. However, during check inn the women at the front desk asked what I was going to do with our pup while we are at the concert. Confused by this, she explained to me that their policy is not to allow dogs to be unattended in the room. She asked if I was going to leave him in the car (it is early September, and the heat would - as we know- make this extremely dangerous and possibly lethal for my pup). She additionally admitted that it would be hard to find that they hold this policy by simply looking through their website. In fact, the pet policies do NOT state that the pets are not allowed to be left in the room. Assuming we would have to cancel our plans for the night as to not have to leave him, we were extremely disappointed. Luckily, I was able to drive 45 minutes out of town to bring him to a family friends house until after the concert. This being said, this is not standard and is not conducive to being a "pet friendly" hotel if patrons are not able to leave their dog while going to dinner or an other activity. I even asked if we would be able to crate him and he could wear his e-collar (used for off leash work on our farm, but will guarantee he will not bark) which was declined. The women at the front desk was always kind, but unconcerned as to how this affected us and that we were not properly notified of the policy (nor would any other customer be). If we did not have family outside of town, we would have had to find somewhere else to stay or cancel our plans for the night. This policy needs to be made clear at booking. Besides for this, we were unimpressed with our room as it had a notable unpleasant smell when we walked in and had more than 10 bugs in the bathroom at all times. Including dead ones on the counter. The air in the room did not work, which especially frustrating during wildfire season as having a cool breeze come in is not an option when the air quality is extremely dangerous due to the smoke. Save your money and simply stay at the Hampton inn or one of the other places in town.

Yelp
Our rating would have been so much higher if there had been HOTWATER. We brought the issue up several times and nothing changed. No matter how nice a room is if you can't take a shower it's uncomfortable. Cut our stay short.

Khine T.

Yelp
Lovely place. We had a great experience! The river view from our room made our stay so memorable.

Kendra F.

Yelp
We stayed here in the Deluxe River View suite and it was awesome! It's right on the river, great patio spot. Some trees blocking a bit of the view, but still beautiful. Excellent service, excellent breakfast, and getting a welcome beer was a great touch! The room was fab, really clean, big, nice and comfy. The 2 person spa was amazing. Walking distance to some restaurants, a nice walking trail, etc. Wish we could have stayed more nights and definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
This is a nice hotel close to everything and with free parking. We usually rent a house when staying in Bend, but this was a last-minute booking so we had to go with a hotel. First, check in was a breeze and they offer you a complimentary wine, beer, cider or soda upon arrival. I had a local Avid cider which was very tasty after a long drive. Second, the property is VERY clean. Plexiglas is up for the front desk staff, masks available at all entrances, and hand sanitizer bottles strategically placed. All guests and employees were wearing masks. A buffet breakfast is included. It is a decent free continental breakfast with one caveat: our son ate a coconut raspberry muffin that was hand-labeled "gluten free" and "vegan" which was a nice touch. However, this muffin had to contain nuts (almond flour?) because his nut allergy kicked in hard and we ended up taking him to the emergency room 5 minutes away. Obviously we are not blaming the hotel as his allergy is ultimately our responsibility, but when we asked the server if the muffin contained nuts she responded "I don't know." With so many people experiencing nut allergies these days you should know this answer especially if you are already labeling food as "gluten free", etc. why not go all of the way? Again, not going to blame them, but I do suggest that the hotel label their foods with nuts too. Other than the continental breakfast incident, we do recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Yelp
We came here for peace and quiet and that is what we found and more. It started with meeting Audrey upon check-in. A genuinely caring person Who made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem for her. She was helpful in arranging a romance package for my wife and I at the last minute. Thank you Audrey, everything was perfect. Hope served us breakfast in our room and was so hospitable and kind in spite of us not being morning people, thank you Hope, well done. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace was such a good mood setter, and the view from the room was fantastic, great sunrise/sunset photos. Let's see, oh yes, complimentary wine or craft brew upon arrival. Lyft and Uber friendly. Many excellent restaurant recommendations from Audrey and other staff. We definitely recommend and plan to return.

Yelp
Looking for a quiet room with great views of the river? The Pine Lodge is your place. The lodge is located on the bluff over looking the river located in a quiet part of town. The lodge has plenty of free parking very close to all the rooms. The Lodge is 5 minutes from everything it seems which is convenient. The room that we had was a suite with tons of space. Our room was on the second floor (which I reccomend) with a great view of the river. The bedding was comfortable and classic. The room was a bit dated and definitely showed some wear and tear. The bathroom/shower had a slight funky smell to it, but nothing horrible. The check-in process was very fast, friendly, and convenient. Upon check-in you are offered a beverage from a local brewery/winery which is a great touch. I would definitely reccomend this place if you are looking for some lodging in Bend. Cheers Always!

Yelp
Firstly the staff! From the front desk to wonderful Andrea that went above and beyond! We had the most romantic stay! The room was perfect! Also huge jacuzzi tub and a fireplace! Andrea did all the wonderful extras and we are so grateful for this experience! This inn is so comfortable and we will pass on the name for years to come!

Colin B.

Yelp
We booked a stay at Pine Ridge Inn because have "dog-friendly" rooms, but we look forward to returning because they are so much more. Often, "dog-friendly" accommodations mean a compromise in quality or cleanliness, but not at Pine Ridge Inn. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the river and solid amenities that I would have never guessed was dog-friendly if I hadn't known otherwise. The room was immaculate and smelled great. That said, the staff at Pine Ridge Inn really went above and beyond the call of duty in making us feel welcome with our dog, Gravy. Not only did they all greet us by name, but they greeted him by name as well, as though he was part of their household. Even their house dog got in on the action and quite literally took Gravy for a tour of the hotel! We couldn't be happier that we stayed at Pine Ridge Inn when we were in Bend. It was conveniently located, had great views, and was exactly the accommodation we were hoping for.

Yelp
This hotel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in! Last minute booking I was placed in the nice king suite, great room! The hotel has views of the river and is close to shopping/restaurants. They greeted me at the door and offered complementary drinks and cake. Room was clean. Bed extremely soft. Very very quiet. The hotel is small and feels more like a bed and breakfast because of how personal the service was. Deer in the parking lot/grounds makes you feel almost like you're at a resort. Loved it; would stay again!

Yelp
Let me just say, if you want a safe hotel, this is not it . No desk clerk after 11 pm until 5 am. My reservation was cancelled without warning or contact because they were "overbooked". I used a credit card to guarantee and booked through my travel agency. Unlike other hotels who do this, the Pine Ridge did not find me another hotel to stay at. They basically suggested I sleep in my car on a street somewhere and get the heck of their property or I would be arrested. Since no agent on duty, if you arrive late, you call rent a cop who has no authority and no service. They didn't let my travel agency know nor did they contact me that their wasn't room. Bend is a small city so if booked up, their are not many choices. DO NOT RISK BOOKING A ROOM HERE!!! It may not be honored I left a message for their GM Tom and have not heard from him. Basically an overpriced hotel with very poor service. I judge service by when things don't go right, do the respond and take care of you? Pine Ridge is a ZERO!!

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Our favorite place to stay in Bend! The hotel is quiet, CLEAN!, cozy, and close to everything! Great little breakfast and complimentary beverage upon arrival. Not to mention the staff is kind and attentive.

Tyler M.

Yelp
The perfect hotel in the perfect location! We are a recent covert to the Pine Ridge Inn and loving it! Quaint, quiet, clean and amazing customer service! The rooms are a generous size with comfortable mattress and fire places to make the room extra cozy in the winter. Don't change a thing Pine Ridge Inn, you are perfect in all ways!

Susan P.

Yelp
Absolutely top notch place to stay. Extremely friendly, helpful with places to visit, clean facility, and reasonable prices. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it. Give it a try.

Dawn F.

Yelp
Are you kidding?! What a fabulous place to stay and one of our best night's sleep here. From the friendly welcome as we walked in (you are offered a glass of local wine or beer upon arrival), to the wonderfully laid out room with a view, quiet night's rest, or fabulous continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, pastries, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh berries) included with your stay, I'm impressed! Will recommend to others and stay here again.

Garrett R.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our one night stay here. Lady checking us in gave us a free beer and cold glass to go with our comfortable and quiet room. Free breakfast was a lot better than expected with another nice lady helping get us fulfill all of our needs. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a great location and somewhere quiet to end your day on the slopes or out exploring.

Yelp
Pine Ridge Inn is a magical place to stay with an ambiance taken right out of the pages of Architectural Digest magazine. The decor and architecture are modern, clean and cozy with phenomenal lighting options within the room and outside our patio area. Fresh pine trees are everywhere making the air quality exceptional and much appreciated when we opened our patio door. The fireplace inside our room was operated by a convenient wall switch and kept our room temperature comfortable. Our room was also equipped with a handy climate control center on the wall if one so desired. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The water pressure was excellent and much appreciated while utilizing the oversized shower head. Smooth jazz was playing softly when we first walked in on the television and we chose to keep it playing in the background our entire stay. Delicious home made chocolate chip cookies were made daily for anyone's enjoyment. Every morning we enjoyed an array of healthy delicious breakfast options complimentary of Pine Ridge Inn. We were spoiled with breath taking views of the famous Deschutes River just outside our room. We enjoyed amazing views of the river while comfortably relaxing on the modern styled couch within our gorgeous decor while enjoying the cozy warmth from our rooms fireplace. My only complaint is I can't give Pine Ridge Inn a 10 star review. Every single employee we encountered helped to make us feel welcomed and right at home. A special shout out to MARYANNE for going above and beyond to not only make us feel welcome, but made us feel like we are family. We will be visiting Bend, Oregon regularly and this will be our first choice when deciding where we would like to stay while visiting and enjoying the beauty Bend, Oregon has to offer.

Yelp
While in the midst of wedding planning, we stayed at the Pine Ridge Inn on our most recent trip to Bend. Overall, the stay was very good. We loved the room. Having a sink inside the bathroom and another just outside was surprisingly convenient. We also took full advantage of the fireplace in the room since it was still chilly out (and even started snowing on our final day). The balcony provided a nice view and the room was adequately lit. It's surprising how many hotel rooms are so dark even with all the lights on! We didn't bring our furry friend with us on this trip but I really appreciate that it is an option and we could do so on a future stay. We are definitely planning to stay here again and have recommended it to our family and friends who are traveling into the Bend area for our wedding later this year. The only negative of our stay was the breakfast. The options were very lackluster the two mornings we were there (granola, oatmeal, one type of scone, one type of muffin, one type of bread to make toast, hard boiled egg, parfait). I'd love to see some hot options in the future that have some protein or at the very least a bagel or different types of toast (only was offered cinnamon raisin on our trip). Both mornings we ended up going to a local coffee shop for something more substantial. I hope that during a more "peak" season the breakfast options will be improved. It seems like other people who reviewed the hotel had better options. Hopefully I will get to experience those on my next stay! Yes, Pine Ridge Inn is one of the pricier options in Bend but the views are great, the location is extremely convenient, the room size is definitely above average, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and best of all it was quiet. Even being in a room near the breakfast area we couldn't hear it at all from inside our room - I would've sworn we had the entire hotel to ourselves if we hadn't seen other people at breakfast / cars in the parking lot. The front desk and breakfast staff were both efficient and courteous. I look forward to our next stay. 4.5 stars.

Tammy H.

Yelp
The room was super cute with a great view. We were each offered complimentary wine or beer on our first evening. Front desk clerks were extremely friendly. It was a bit difficult to find the first time as Google Maps made it confusing. The room itself was beautiful. It had a step down living room, a fireplace and a small patio with a table and 2 chairs. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. *Tip - fridge is not on upon arrival. There was TONS of places to eat within walking or short driving distance. Overall, 4 stars. The only reason it didn't get 5....the mattress sucked. There was also a complimentary breakfast offered but the first morning we went, it was early and I'm not sure everything was out as there was only muffins/scones, oatmeal and some fruit along with coffee and juice. I would totally stay here again. I might just hope to get a better mattress the next time.

Cathy M.

Yelp
Great view off the back towards the river. Rooms were new and very clean and we had a door to the outside through our patio which was lovely. The food was nothing to talk about, at least not for me, but that's fine. We ate out around the city and had some great meals. The bathroom was amazing! It was spacious and beautiful. My boyfriend couldn't stop talking about how much he LOVED the shampoo. He wants to buy it on Amazon, but it's $30 a bottle! I think he's going to do it anyway. It's Molton Brown. The bed was really nice, I slept great. The rooms were quiet, I never heard another person.

Trudi N.

Yelp
From the moment we walked through the door everything at Pine Ridge Inn was fabulous!! A super friendly greeting, complimentary glass of wine, upgrade to the king suite, jacuzzi tub, fireplace........we can't wait to go back. The staff is very friendly, rooms are great, complimentary breakfast was a surprise and delicious.

Ryan F.

Yelp
Great hotel. Very cozy and great proximity to the grocery store and river trail. Had a lovely experience here and will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I frequently come to Bend for combination work and mini-staycation and this is the first time I have stayed at the Pine Ridge Inn. First - it will be the only place I stay from now on and I will be certain I can add an extra day - if nothing else than to unwind, rejuvenate and enjoy the luxury and ambiance of the outdoors quietly immersing the suite. I was immediately soul-swept in from the high ceilings, divine bedding, well appointed en-suite bathroom, private patio with a breathtaking view to the artisan complimentary breakfast... The room is spacious, completely quiet, extraordinarily comfortable, impeccably clean and perfectly set with deer and trails outside the door. My stay that was work related but it felt like a mind, soul and body retreat. Well done Pine Ridge, you are the Bend hidden gem!

Nomita Y.

Yelp
This place is ideally located in Bend. The rooms-we had a King Suite- are clean and spacious. Our room had a balcony with a great view.I The complimentary breakfast was basic but filling. It has fruits, yogurt, boiled eggs and bagels. Additionally, coffee, tea and OJ. I would highly recommend if you want a quiet and relaxing space.

Alanna D.

Yelp
Great experience. I was highly recommended this place by my sister, so we stayed here for her second time and I will be coming back! Staff is so nice, huge rooms, gorgeous views, and a tasty breakfast (included with your room). Good location walking/biking distance from anywhere you need to go. We didn't have to touch our car keys all weekend! Thanks for the fabulous weekend, Pine Ridge Inn! We will be back.

Manuel N.

Yelp
I had a good quite stay at this hotel. The staff was nice. Breakfast wasn't eggs and bacon but they had had boiled eggs, pastries and yogurts. Coffee and tea is available but no juices. The bed was comfortable. Not too soft, not too hard. I'd stay again. Love the location.

Wayne T.

Yelp
Wonderful stay at Pine Ridge Inn. The rooms were spotless and so spacious. We had a great view of the river, and loved the smell of pine trees with our morning java. The service is friendly, and the extra touches they do are awesome. (Beer or Wine upon checkin, and nice toiletries in the room)

Ryan C.

Yelp
The best hotel staff ever! Worth every penny! I stay at tons of hotels and this was probably the best experience I have had. Great rooms, family friendly, amazing service. I will stay here every time I'm in Bend!

Tanya T.

Yelp
My husband and I travel to Bend for work every month, and have finally found our home away from home. Both Maureen and Audrey were incredibly kind, helpful, personable, and made the check-in and check-out process, as well as our entire stay, just flawless. Comfy beds, beautiful view with a table on our deck to enjoy the complimentary beverage we were greeted with when we arrived. Will look forward to using the fireplace during the cooler months too! Breakfast was lovely as well. GF options and locally sourced products, as well as the option of almond milk, means I finally got to eat breakfast at the hotel! (Usually, I'm out of luck). In addition, the front desk called ahead to the Bend Athletic Club and let them know we were on our way. We walked over and back and got to enjoy a great workout! Next time we'll bring our suits and soak in the hot tub too! Will be recommending this place to all my friends!

McKenna H.

Yelp
Not sure why there are some bad reviews for this place. Some people expect perfection tailored to their specific needs, I guess! Anyways, this place is awesome (besides some very minor inconveniences). I wanted a relaxing, quiet place to stay while in Bend on vacation with my boyfriend and we found exactly that. We arrived in the evening and were greeted warmly by the front desk. Check in was quick and the lady even offered us free beer or wine! Nice touch. We got to our room which is BIG compared to normal hotels. They had water and cookies waiting for us inside. Big king bed, then steps leading to a separate "living room" area with a fireplace, couch (bed), and dining table. Bathroom is decent size with a sink inside AND outside. Very convenient. Bath tub is big with "rain" style shower head. Also they provide big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion! And if you run out, they refill it. First night went well. No loud noises, the bed didn't give us any problems. There were already extra pillows and blankets in the closet so we didn't have to ask. In the morning, my boyfriend went to check out the breakfast room. He said it was very cozy and there were good options for eating. He complained that there wasn't anything "substantial" like meats or pancakes or waffles. I was already aware of this from reading their website so I wasn't worried about it. I appreciated the fact that their breakfast is locally sourced! Some other nice touches are plenty of parking, local magazines in the room, Keurig coffee maker, board games and DVDs for free, and a great location! No major complaints, I would definitely come back here and recommend it. CONS (very minor issues): -Wifi was on the slower side -Breakfast could have had more options -Patio was closed due to "safety issues" because of snow and ice (understandably) -TV could have been slightly larger -Fridge could have been larger

Christian E.

Yelp
This place was so so. It's a decent location and walking distance to a lot of great places. Other than that the place was sorta blah. The river view rooms are all blocked by trees so you can't see anything. The bed was very uncomfortable. The comforters were flat and out of fill. The thermostat clicked all night. There's no bar or dinner place which is ok if you're going out. There was a fridge which was empty. The in room jacuzzi was nice though! Overall for the price I think i would look elsewhere. The staff were nice. They accommodate dogs which is cool. Tip. Go eat and Bangers and Brews which is walking distance.

Emily S.

Yelp
Classiest hotel I've stayed in lately, for a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they offer complimentary beer, wine and really good snacks in the late afternoon. Rooms are really quiet, and very well appointed. I appreciated the cookies in the room too, next to a refillable glass water botter. I also like that they used refillable pump bottles of soap, shampoo and conditoner. The 3 Oregon based magazine were a nice touch and a good read. The room itself was very quiet at nice. The complimentary breakfast - cooked to order eggs, homemade muffin, orange juice and fruit was perfect and filling. In sum, I would return in a heartbeat!

Vanessa V.

Yelp
If you can get a room here, jump on it. They don't have many rooms. The room felt like a cabin. Very cosy and Roomy. Feels like home. Running and walk trails are literally right outside the hotel. It's beautiful and in a perfect location. I was there for 4 nights and I was alone and felt extremely safe and at home. They had some delicious cookies from Bend Cookie Company waiting upon check in , in my room, and boy were they good. 2 wasn't enough... You're left wanting more. But I guess that's the point. Over all! I fell in love with this hotel

Cristian C.

Yelp
I can't believe no one has reviewed this place. I'd recommend that anyone who comes to Bend, stays at this place. The rooms are roomy, very inviting and the staff is nothing short of perfect! Every time I've come here they're been friendly and gone out of their way to make sure I'm taken care of. My last trip was on a crazy schedule. Once they heard I had to get up at 4am to catch my 6am flight, they prepared a small breakfast (banana, orange juice, bagel w/ cream cheese) and left it in the fridge in my room along with a note! Really great place. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Bend.

Logan O.

Yelp
I took my lovely girlfriend to Pine Ridge Inn to celebrate our two year anniversary. We arrived on New Years Eve and stayed for three amazing nights. Instead of writing an entire story about our experience, I'll just bullet point why we loved this place so much. -I ordered us the romance package. When we arrived our first night, we opened the door to a fresh vase of roses, chocolate cake, and a bottle of champagne. If this is going to be a romantic trip, definitely go this route. Also upon arrival, each room is given delicious cookies and a growler filled with fresh water. -The room was beautiful. This is not like a hotel. It's more of a cozy cabin for two. There aren't very many rooms at the Pine Ridge Inn, which makes it very peaceful and quiet. We had a balcony that overlooked the river and the beautiful city of Bend. During the summer, you can bring your breakfast outside and sit at the table on the patio. -Speaking of breakfast, we were very satisfied with the breakfast. Downstairs, there's a cozy "breakfast room" with a few tables, chairs, and fireplace. Once seated, a staff member will come out of the kitchen and offer you a couple of choices. Choices include pancakes, French toast, quiche, oatmeal and fruit, yogurt and granola, etc. There is also coffee, juices, muffins, and scones. The portions aren't big, which we appreciated because we wanted to experience a lot of restaurants in Bend. -Downstairs, you can check-out a DVD player and they have a binder of movies. -Pine Ridge Inn is close to EVERYTHING. The athletic club is within walking distance, the restaurants are minutes away, and Bachelor is a quick 20-30 minute drive. -We are going to make this a tradition! Every December we will be back, and Pine Ridge Inn will be our place. I will also recommend this place to everyone I know heading to Bend.

Yelp
I recently stayed here with two friends for a short leisure visit to Bend. We were interested in proximity to the Old Mill District (primarily one brewery located in that area;), and the advertised breakfast was an added bonus. That was essentially what I knew about this place going in, so I was pretty thrilled with the property. The room was more than spacious for three of us--plenty of room to throw our stuff everywhere, along with a king size bed and pull-out sofa bed. The gas fireplace was too nice a touch not to use. Was thrilled with the in-room coffee. I expected a somewhat generic continental breakfast, but was so happy with the service and nice food. The walk to the Old Mill District was on the long side, but pretty beautiful once we got out of the business park. It was just important to us not the use the car once we got there. I'm certainly a happy camper and will strongly consider coming back to this hotel on future trips.

Yelp
Think twice about booking here, they really don't care about their customers. The air conditioning went out in this hotel the day or day before we got there. Instead of being up front and telling all their guests they made us all SUFFER. It was 78 degrees in our room that night, we got about 3-4 hours of sleep. When we complained they still didn't tell us that the air was out in the whole hotel just our room. Who was directing this deception. So later that day they offered us a room with air conditioning. We moved from a river view room to a parking lot room. Guess what...... No air conditioning. They gave us a portable air conditioner that if we left it on we wouldn't get any sleep cause of the noise it made. During our 2 days of complaining on deaf ears and being told we would be compensated ( but what they never said) we were told to call the manager. She said herself could have slept with the portable air conditioner cause noise didn't bother her. She also comp us $100. Oh how generous of her when the room was over 200 per night. They should have closed the hotel and got us all other rooms in another hotel. They should have comp us at least one night but perhaps 2 or better yet a gift card to come back with a stay on them. We suffered at the hands of Pine Ridge Inn and they didn't Really care. Their manager was unprofessional , cold and uncaring and unwilling to make things wright. When we left on the 3 rd day it still wasn't fixed. By the way it was in the 90's and they had no air conditioning . Time for a unit the works?

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this wonderful little hotel! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Warm cookies in the evening. Local beer on arrival. Walking distance to the Les Schwab Amphitheater and great restaurants. Room was super clean and fireplace was a bonus. And being from Los Angeles, my daughter and I were thrilled to look out our patio and see a family of deer snacking on crabapples from the tree in front of our room! But the biggest treat of all was the breakfast - far and away the very best hotel breakfast spread I have ever seen with local coffee, and pastries and homemade granola and everything you could possibly want all in a lovely room overlooking the river and sunrise! We were only there for one night but I will be looking for any opportunity to go back - highly recommend!

Yelp
This hotel is the definition of value. I took my family here for a long weekend of hiking and checking out Bend, and we brought our two small kids. The room was clean and spacious with a nice little gas fireplace and fold-out sofa bed. There was free wi-fi, a nice single-press coffee machine with good coffee (!), and an awesome breakfast in a nice, sunny little room Breakfast is free. The woman making breakfast was very sweet and helped our kids find something healthy they would eat. One of the best parts about the hotel is the staff: extremely friendly and helpful, and everyone went out of their way to make things nice for us. As a business traveler who's used to getting charged by hotels for parking, wi-fi, a decent breakfast, etc. this was a refreshing change of pace - especially as it's on my dime! Highly recommended!

Yelp
I never write reviews but I need to on The Pine Ridge in! We had a wonderful stay. I've stayed here plenty of times and it's my favorite. We even left a rolex and it was turned in safely. Can't say enough good things about this place! Clean, comfortable, love the bed and bedding..... The staff is very friendly, it's dog friendly too!! The breakfast staff person from Klamath falls was so nice and so was the front desk guy from Saudie Arabia. I would never stay any place else! Love the new towels too!

Yelp
We went two nights at the Pine Ridge Inn. We had a suite on the second floor overlooking the Deschutes River. Due to the many pine trees between the inn and the river the view was obstructed. The suite was well equipped and roomy. The shower was rather small. The inn is in a very good location. Walking down to the river is five minutes. You can walk to the mill district in less than 30 minutes and walking to downtown is no more than 45 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast is included, but don't set your expectations too high. It is not bad, but also nothing special. The choices are rather limited. The breakfast room is small. We had the pleasure one morning to share our breakfast with a crying baby that threw the food around and left the table and adjacent space a real mess. Overall a nice place to stay.

Yelp
It is hard for me to even give this a two star but I will because of the cleanliness of the rooms and the condition of the building. What my wife and I really disliked about this place was, the beds were very uncomfortable and hard, we did not get a good nights sleep. The shower was more like a dribble instead of a shower. I felt sorry for my wife trying to wash her hair, it was hard enough for me to get the shampoo out of my hair. I paid extra for the king suite with a River view, but not much of a view of the river since the trees block the view. I also told the front desk that I will be paying with cash for the room. I did have to give a credit card, which is normal practice, but when I was leaving they already charged my card before I could pay them the cash for the room. When I commented about this they seemed like it would've been a huge inconvenience for them to credit my card and for me to pay in cash. We will not be coming back because there are a lot of other choices in the Bend area that are much better. I travel to Bend all the time for business and will not be coming back here. If you decide to stay here I would suggest you check the beds and make sure the shower works.

Yelp
The rooms here are all beautiful, large, quiet and romantic. Go get your free glass of wine from the lobby, hang the do not disturb sign then enjoy a jetted bath for two. This is a perfect weekend romance escape! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stayed for a night on a gift certificate, and it was a nice place. Not fantastic, especially considering some of the options in Bend, but very nice. Our Canyon View Suite room was large and roomy, with a sunken living room complete with a sleeper sofa. Nice bed, flat screen TV, comp wine or been and snacks after check in. It's a little off the beaten path, located in an industrial area, but it's near the Old Mill District and Deschutes Brewery and is only a mile away from downtown. Service was very nice and the staff was very friendly, but there was just something about it that wasn't super-impressive to me. I probably wouldn't stay there again on my own dime, because there are other hotels/B&B's in the area that offer a little more.

Yelp
This place is really nice and cozy! All the staff was super nice and welcoming.. definable going to come back when I'm in the area again!

Yelp
In a word, mediocre. Not horrible, but certainly not great. The mattress was too small for the frame, so that was weird. The lighting was extremely poor -making it really hard to get ready in the morning. The water pressure was wimpy at best. No USB ports for charging and not too many outlets. I had to unplug the alarm clock to charge my phone. If you are looking for a place to sleep and nothing else, it was ok. No gym or pool, but you could pay for a pass to a local gym. For the price, it was very disappointing and not worth the cost, especially with the Hilton Hampton Inn being in the same range and offering so much more. (Hampton Inn was full and did have a Pool, gym, snack bar, wine/beer, friendly staff and are reasonably priced). Also, I would have shared this feedback with the staff and not here, if the staff would have asked me how my stay was or even made eye contact.

Yelp
Nice place . Comfortable & clean , another perk was we were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine (or beer - it's your choice).

Yelp
This hotel was clean, comfy, and amazing to check in to after a long day hiking. Gorgeous river view with a fire place and very comfortable beds. Great location - quiet but close to Old Mill.

Yelp
This is my first night here and I am NOT a happy camper. First off-- if you're from out of area and you've never been to Bend, OR before, just be aware that Google maps has absolutely no idea where this hotel is (and will send you on a wild goose chase through many charming roundabouts). If you're lucky enough to find a brown sign on a seemingly random corner indicating you've reached the Pine Ridge Inn, it's also helpful information to know that you need to turn right at that sign and look for a black tarmac path which leads you about a quarter mile to the actual hotel-- and this is the ONLY entry to the hotel (of course, I discovered all of this after staring longingly at the hotel from way around on the other side of a street which does not allow hotel access because-- of course-- you can only access the hotel through this very poorly marked remote pathway). I'm here for business and my company booked my room here through Priceline. Upon checkin (which again was a wild goose chase trying to find out which door is the main entrance), I was assigned a first floor room. As a single female traveler, first floor rooms make me leery, so I like to scope them out first. The first thing I noticed when I entered my room was a door that opens up to the parking lot. THE PARKING LOT. THE PARKING LOT. THE PARKING LOT. (Just let that sink in.) I asked the front desk attendant if any second floor rooms were available, and they're all booked for the week. I asked if I could at least have a first floor room with a door that does not open to the parking lot (!!!), and it turns out all of those are booked too. But don't worry-- if you're a criminal reading this review and planning to come into my room tonight, I've moved the boulder of a pull-out couch behind the door to block it. Finally, after FINALLY feeling like I could sort of relax, I decided to enjoy some of the free wifi. Unfortunately, it did not want to cooperate-- I think a glacier moves faster than the wifi connection in my room (which is unfortunate, considering my boss is expecting me to be pumping out emails to clients right now and is going to wonder why it looks like I'm slacking off....) I asked the front desk where the router is, and she told me it's upstairs. So I am writing this Yelp review from the upstairs sitting area, which is clear across the hotel from my actual room and pretty much the ONLY place I've been able to connect to ANY sort of internet here. I would eat my left arm to have a room across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn right now.
