Pine Tree Market literally has nearly everything you need. If you came into town with barely enough food, they have it all: Bread, deli meat, butter, oatmeal, coffee, snacks, essential oils, a ton of over the counter drugs, fresh produce, and much more. In addition, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. “We try to have nearly everything you need so you don’t have to go out of the park.”

Google
Nice quaint store with almost everything you may need while in Yosemite (utilities, groceries, produce, gloves and hats, coffee and patries) you name it. Michael the store owner was also kind enough to help us when we needed a snow chain and allowed us to return it if we didn't get to use it. Great pit stop as well to get cellular network and use internet. BONUS: Store cat spotted

Google
Great spot to stock up on snacks, groceries and ice cream during your visit. Highly recommend if you want to support small local businesses.

Support local! This store has EVERYTHING! Katie and Michael are very intentional about supporting the community, making Wawona a better place to live (and visit!)

Google
Pine tree has a pretty good selection of products for being such a small place. Very friendly staff.

Considering the location, this is a great selection of meats, food, and produce, all the stuff you need for a gourmet feast! Or a snack. And great service as well!

Google
This little market is great has everything you would need and your morning coffee, also some very unique souvenirs especially the photo art, The scenes captured are Not the run of the mill mass produced photo art they're very singular. I purchased a piece that depicts the "Horsetail Water Fall" from a different angle that really captures the Waterfall's beauty. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great selection of foods, produce, wine, fresh roasted coffee beans. Produce is super fresh - better than you will find at chain stores. High quality fresh brewed coffee. Even a nice selection of cheeses, prosciutto. Pretty good selection of wines and liquors. Owners and employees take pride in their trade and it shows. Just an absolute gem. And also.... Silly Sam keeping fit on the scales

Yelp
Very very convenient market right outside of the 'Redwoods in Yosemite' Cabins - I very much enjoyed my walks to the market in the mornings to pick up anything I needed (wish they had more organic/human friendly options though). The gentleman who works here was very friendly and helpful with questions my friend and I had about the park, as was the younger woman! Thank you for the hospitality. Also, don't forget to check out the food stand outside of this market - super good post-hike food!

Yelp
We had amazing service and attention from Mike at Pine Tree Market. We had some pretty weak chains on our car during a bad snowstorm and were able to find and purchase chains for our car here. We struggled to put them on our car, but with Mike's guidance we were able to get them on. We wouldn't have made it to our destination if this market did not have the supplies we needed! They have a good collection of local beers and wine, and lots of food and snacks.

Yelp
Great little market in Yosemite National Park that can cover all your basic needs. Even has a decent craft beer selection.

Yelp
This little market was a wonderful source of vegetarian box meals as well as clothespins and bungee cords, which items we needed while staying at the Wawona Hotel. The staff was warm and helpful and allowed us to borrow the microwave as well.

Yelp
Waited too long to update my review. The previous owner has allegedly retired and the store is under new ownership and open every day. They have to fit a lot of stuff into a small space so don't expect to find more than one brand of bacon or one variety of apple, but they provide an important resource for Wawona that would otherwise require at least a half hour drive to Oakhurst

Yelp
A decent little market resides in a very unlikely woods in the park. Sister wanted to visit Chilnualna falls that's why we stopped here to get some cold beverages and ask detailed directions. Funny thing was this entire area with lodges and houses looked so shabby except this little market. It had limited fresh produce, almost everything you need to make decent meals. Most importantly they had cold beverages including healthy vitamin waters. Also limited beer, wine and spirit. Guess you can get pretty much what you need here if you stay in this area. The store cashier was very friendly and gave us detailed directions to Chilnualna falls. We didn't make it there though cause I was too tired and refused to keep going. At least you know where you can get some supplies here when you are in this area!

Yelp
This place has EVERYTHING!! From food to camping gear to beauty products, it is truly a perfect one stop shop for any hiker, camper or tourist passing through town. The owners are incredibly friendly and also can help you plan your trips or hikes, which is SUPER helpful! They had a microwave to cook any of the frozen items you purchased.

Yelp
I've been coming to Yosemite multiple times a year for most of my life. Over the past few years, I've been calling North Wawona home and Pine Tree Market is a big reason for that. Pine Tree Market has everything I've ever needed for making any of my meals, either to eat at my cabin or on the trail. It's great having a general store like this around so I'm not always stuck eating at the dining options in Yosemite Valley or at the Wawona Hotel. Highly recommend stopping in next time you're in Yosemite.

Yelp
Pine Tree Market is amazing! The owner and staff are amazing and super helpful. They have almost everything you could possibly ask for. Definitely going multiple times during my stay at Wawona!

Yelp
Hidden Gem!! You will not believe how many quality items you will find here!! From high-end beauty, to top camping gear, to fresh produce, and frozen lunch for your kids. Stopping here changed our entire trip. We can every day for an easy lunch and snacks for our kids. Great owner and staff. Clean and close to good waterfall hikes.

Yelp
They have everything you'll need. They pack all the essentials in a small space. Just pay attention to when they open and close.

Yelp
I wish I got the cashier's name but he was so rude to me for some reason, but so nice to the foreign tourists in front of me in line who were nothing but an inconvenience, I will never understand it. This was our first stop after entering through the Wawona entrance of the park and getting off to a rough start as they did not let us ask questions and wanted to keep the line moving. Now not really knowing where we were or how to get to certain places, I was expecting friendlier staff here and not someone off-putting and dismissive. I could see the judgement in his eyes when asking some basic questions about the park. Now I know this is a store and not a visitor center, but still I bought a few things and was hoping to get something more than vague, judgmental answers. "Whatever you're looking for it isn't here" I think is the last thing he said to me. You are better off taking your business to Yosemite village store which has a way better selection of everything.

Yelp
When I stayed in Yosemite I went to this market for everything. Food, supplies, WiFi, and gifts. The guy who runs the shop is super friendly. He extended the WiFi and when it was cold out brought me a latte. The people who run the shop are very nice and helpful.

Yelp
I enjoy traveling, and have traveled to many of our country's great national parks. I can honestly say that I have not been to a better market/ grocery store inside a national park. Pine tree market saved me from having to exit the park to get any of my needs throughout my weeks stay. Had everything I needed and the quality was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations.

Yelp
Micheal and Katie own the store and they just radiate peace and kindness. They were so helpful as we searched for a few things and were more than willing to give us some awesome recommendations throughout the park. The Market is very well stocked and clean. They had everything that we needed during our stay. Definitely come here for your grocery or snack needs! They also have a few souvenir items as well as movies that you can rent!

Yelp
Pine Tree Market was an amazing addition to our family vacation. They literally had everything. All the things you missed when you went camping can be found here. This is a family owned business and they really treat their customers well and personable. They even offered directions to hidden gems within the town and made suggestions to make our family vacation much more enjoyable.

Amy P.

Yelp
The Pine Tree Market is a gem! The new owner has cleaned it up and added more relevant groceries. It's been a tough year between Covid and a recent wind storm that damaged homes around the community. But Mike is open, offering coffee, sandwiches, DVD rentals, souvenirs, and grocery delivery, always with a warm smile!

Joe H.

Yelp
As cabin owners, we are now on our third round of Pine Tree owners, and this is by far the best! Michael and Katie, as well as Josh, are friendly and helpful, and have become a staple in the community. As a supporter of small businesses, and they do not get much smaller than the Pine Tree, it is wonderful to make our daily visits to support our community market!

Yoshita M.

Yelp
We loved the awesome Pine Tree Market!! Micheal and Katie are great and they gave us tips on what to do during our 3 day stay. Wawona is a quaint little place with log cabins and talk pine trees. Someone has reviewed saying that this area is shabby!! I would like to state that you are in Yosemite National Park and not in a fancy city.. We stayed in a comfortable cabin and got all our supplies from Pine Tree Market. They required masks and the store is very clean. We live in LA and this little store had everything I could get in a grocery store here . Fully deserve the 5 star! Hope to see you guys soon :)

Yelp
Good selection of steak, wide variety of wine for a small store. Very pleasant experienc.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting Wawona and Yosemite National Park. Pine Tree Market was centrally located, convenient, reasonably priced and had everything we could think of. Special thanks to owners Michael and Katie, who provided us with Yosemite hospitality, hiking trails and awesome sites to see. Pine Tree Market truly made our trip to Wawona unforgettable. Thank you guys

Yelp
A great little market offering the usual supplies that tourists need to make their visit to The Redwoods In Yosemite a success. The great owner & family is just a bonus, so spend some money there and enjoy your visit to Yosemite National Park.

Yelp
I have nothing much new to add here, but wanted to note that they now take ApplePay, during the time of Covid. Limit 5 people at a time in the store, they have a red light they turn on if you need to wait outside (since only one person works there). "Mask respected, but not required" said the sign out front...these are strange times, even in Wawona.

Ryan F.

Yelp
The Pine Tree Market always has a great selection and it the perfect place to pick up what you need if you're camping or staying in one of the nearby cabins. We've been going to this market for years and the new owners are awesome.

Yelp
So wonderful to have this little market nearby the Wawona campgrounds. A nice luxury when small items are forgotten or run out. They have a surprisingly extensive collection of goods including fresh produce!

Jessica M.

Yelp
This little market had everything we needed. We usually bring groceries with us when we are staying somewhere with a kitchen, but didn't get it together for this trip and arrived too late at night to stop in a larger town on the way. We were staying in Wawona and had planned to go to Tenaya Lodge for their deli but took at look at all the cars entering the park and decided we didn't want to sit in that traffic on the way back. As it turned out, we were able to get supplies for sandwiches at the market as well as for a pasta dinner and the next day's breakfast. The owner is super friendly and helpful and carries some quality meats. If we had been more ambitious, we could have bought some rib eye steaks! Highly recommend. There's more here than it would first appear.

Jack B.

Yelp
They are the nicest people ever! The owners are extremely kind, the place is clean, and they are super friendly! They carry good food, and they are really willing to help. This place made my stay really nice! They truly deserve 5 starts!

Yelp
Open year-round, the Pine Tree Market has been a fixture in Wawona for decades. People are always stopping in for little necessities. It's more expensive than Raley's or Von's in Oakhurst, so I wouldn't do the bulk of my shopping there for a long trip. But it has all the staples you'll need for a weekend! Surprisingly well stocked with eggs, milk, cheese, etc, a limited amount of produce, plus lots of non-perishables including pasta, sauces, and liquor! They have a good range of beers, both cheap and higher end, plus most hard liquor a you could think of. They have ice as well. In the summer they have a SLURPEE machine for the kids, and they have sundries like post cards, tee shirts, and sleds in winter. They also rent some movies! Didn't brig cash? They take cards too. But keep in mind... They have different winter hours than summer hours - it's 9am-6pm in winter and something like 8am-8pm in summer.

Yelp
This local favorite in Wawona is better than ever. The new owners have carried on the tradition of a friendly family run store that is incredibly well stocked for the small space. If you need ingredients for a picnic or full meal with drinks or forgot that random ingredient, herb or spice--they have it! They have soap, toothpaste, first aid supplies, the list goes on and on-- they seem to have it all. All the essentials and much more can be found. There is a great selection of ice cream, which I really appreciate. They also have clothing (hats, T-Shirts, etc.) and gifts, including really spectacular work by local photographers and artists.

Charles M.

Yelp
This is the best store in Yosemite. Huge selection of food and beer. My family loves going here for all our shopping needs. It is like an extension to our kitchen as it is so convenient to just run over and buy food items quickly.

Yelp
Wonderful market with a wide selection of fresh vegetables and meats. This store is a one stop shop with everything from camping gear you may have forgot to souvenirs. Locally owned by very nice people.

Yelp
The Pine Tree Market is a Wawona staple. I have been coming to Wawona since I was born and there hasn't been a trip in which I didn't go to the Pine Tree Market every day. I love it so much I have three T-shirts with the store's label on them! We always stop for groceries on the way into Yosemite but the Pine Tree Market takes all the stress off of having to drive back out of the park if you forgot something. They have alcohol for those nights when you want to sit outside and have a glass of wine under the stars. They have ice cream bars for those post swimming days. They have food for when you're absolutely craving spaghetti and desperately need an avocado to make that perfect sandwich. I can't say enough about this store or the people who run it. They are always willing to help you get something and feel more like family than friends. Make sure the Pine Tree Market is on your Wawona to-do list!!

Yelp
Well-stocked little grocery store in the Redwoods at Yosemite vacation rental area, with everything you could want to cook in your vacation rental house. We picked up stuff for salad, fruit, and even New York steaks to throw on the grill! The Wawona gas & grocery on the main road is good for souvenirs, but the Pine Tree is a better grocery store. We stocked up at the Von's in Oakhurst before arriving in Yosemite, but with 3 nights in the park and six hungry adults to feed, we inevitably ran out of food - thank goodness for the Pine Tree.

Yelp
Went here a couple of times during our stay at the Redwoods in Yosemite. Quite well stocked, although they didn't have flavored coffee creamer - my only complaint. Good selection of liquor and plenty of canned goods for the size of the store. Friendly cashiers, but the loud, political talk radio station that was on each time I went in made me want to leave quickly.

Bruce D.

Yelp
Always there if you need it! Especially if there's a government shutdown and you can't shop in Yosemite Valley. Good selection for such a small store. Has everything you need....
