Right off the Start, let me say the One Thing that really makes this place so great, is Lori. She is the best! From her unique Breakfasts, to taking care of plumbing matters that “sounded off”, She was on top of everything. |It is a great place. We had arrived extra early, (which we had set up earlier), and had the whole place to ourselves, which in my eyes means: Check out the rest of the House, which we did. We only checked out other rooms where the door was wide open and found each room to be very unique. |The Breakfast area is very quaint, as is the rest of the downstairs areas, and we found other guests to be as pleased as we were. Breakfasts were always something new each day, but I forgot to take photos of the Breakfasts, …my bad! But grilling a Pineapple with coconut and brown sugar on top?… It should be the signature dish! |Our Room was the Meadowlark, and it was pleasant and a delight. A comfortable bed, and very warm for October. We had full control of the heat in our room. The Bathroom was huge, with a tub/shower. We did have a problem with a Whistling Toilet, which I’ve never heard of, but according to the internet, it’s a real thing. A plumber came and fixed it while we were sightseeing.|Something I’ve experienced at other B&Bs, because we’re sleeping on a four post bed, one of the posts blocks the TV. But hey! We’re not here to watch TV!|I will give a tip by saying a word of caution, the driveway exits onto a blind turn, and trucks and cars traveling down the 35mph road… Aren’t! so as you pull out, keep a watchful eye to the left and be ready to hit the gas after you emerge.|Thanks Lori
