Pineapple Ketch & Sea Sauna

The floating sauna was a surreal experience. This is contrast therapy at its finest. This is the ultimate God-built cold plunge: the Atlantic. It is the hottest sauna I have ever been in which makes me think all the “wellness spa” experiences are bogus. This is the real deal. It is so hot that when you step outside at the end of October it feels like you’re in Miami. Climbing down into the ocean is cold but your body acclimates and loves the relief from the heat. Then you go back to the sauna and instantly feel this calming, meditative effect. I can see why people are addicted to contrast therapy. The difference between here and a spa is the floor to ceiling window overlooking the river. You’re on a cloud while watching the clouds, and the shimmer of the water, and birds diving for their prey. It was absolutely magical! Will be back!

We had amazing sailing trip experience with Pineapple Ketch! The weather was windy in our favor and sunset colors were really beautiful! Thanks to the crew, Justin and Josh, for making it both fun and safe!

A most enjoyable late afternoon sail out of Kennebunkport! We sailed at 4 pm as a private charter( our family of 11 ) … Gavin the first mate was friendly, outgoing and informative and James did a great job as the Captain ! The scenery was gorgeous .. we saw lots of seals ! Our entire family sailed with us and the weather was beautiful, seas calm and the sailing trip was so enjoyable ! Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience. Water was brutally cold (10/21/2025) but the feeling of stepping back into the hot sauna is like no other. I have access to a commercial gym sauna for free and paying for this experience felt totally worth the money. If you live in New England or are visiting ME I think this is a must do! Justin was easy going and totally psyched to facilitate our experience, Enjoy!

Relaxing trip. Guides were very kind. Calm waters on the day we took the trip! BYOB and snacks. Plenty of space on the boat. Very peaceful sunset trip. Would recommend!

We had an unforgettable experience. Captain Jim and First Mate Abbie were knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and professional. Thank you both! We embarked on an evening sail September 14, 2024 and the weather was perfect, the ocean flat and gentle. Abbie told great stories about the houses along the coastline, and we even encountered a few seals. We will be back to celebrate our wedding anniversary again! Thank you so much!
